ok, so i know Terra was possesed by Xehanort, but if both halfs of Xehanort were destroyed, what happens to Terra's body, does it return as a complete Terra like Master Xehanort, or will Sora have to save him in order for Terra to return?

I chose that Terra will be back to normal. Like Master Xehanort and Terra will split into their original selves.

Terra isn't even in the realm of darkness and i dont see how terra can come back cause if xemnas had terra's body sora destoryed xemnas so he destoryed terras body if only his heart can come back then maybe riku will have something to do with terra

Well, I chose the second option. Though Terra's not in the RoD, I doubt he'll come back that easily. Well, the Terra we know and love (not Terranort) won't be reformed that easily.

Not quite sure. Maybe he'll escape on his own.

idont think that he will return as mx i think he will return as terranort

I believe they will both come back as Apprentice Xehanort. Then for the final battle, Sora will go into his body and face MX with Terra. Once they defeat him, Terra will return to his normal self and MX will be gone for good.

The old Master Xehanort isn't the one that has returned, it's apprentice Xehanort, the fusion between Terra and Master Xehanort. It was apprentice Xehanort who were turned into a Heartless and a Nobody, so it'll only make sense that he is the one that will return.

Besides, Master Xehanort body is gone, he himself banished it to get Terra's. So why would he go back to have his old many when he tried to get away from it?

You may say, "But Yen Sid said Master Xehanort would return, even a picture of him appeared", well to me it doesn't seem like Yen Sid knows about apprentice Xehanort. And if he does, well, then he's wrong.

And another thing, why has neither Yen Sid nor Mickey ever question how Master Xehanort went from old to young?

Apprentice Xehanort was the one who had the Heartless (Ansem) and Nobody (Xemnas), so he would return, not Master Xehanort. So I reckon once Sora and Riku fight him -- hopefully at the end of KH3D -- Apprentice Xehanort will split into Master Xehanort and Terra. Seems logical, right? Well, as logical as Kingdom Hearts is.

This.

I don't think it would be that simple. I think that Sora would probably have to use a keyblade that unlocks people's hearts on apprentice Xehanort. Then, Xehanort and Terra will be freed at the same time. Master Xehanort will probably appear, fight Sora and then leave to go to his unknown ally.

I was thinking more like after Sora defeats Xehanort, Terra will resist and Sora takes out Xehanort's heart and is gone for good. Either way would be good.

Sora have to fight Xehanort and kill Master Xehanort to free Terra
