What if Ven's spirit is actually still alive but his spirit is locked away until it gets released once more! Because at the end of Birth By Sleep Ven went back to his heart (as the same in the beginning) and same with Aqua! What do you think?

Anyway, I'll just answer it. Well, if Ven's heart returns, I doubt Vanitas will come back since he's part of Ven's heart, and to bring him back would be to extract the darknes out of Ven again. Also, Nomura said that if Ven wasn't in Sora's heart, he would have gained the ability to wield the keyblade eventually because of his strong heart. So Sora wouldn't lose his ability to wield the keyblade, plus throughout his journey, he's proven himself enough to wield a keyblade with his own heart, so he doesn't need Ven's.

All Sora would lose by giving Ven his heart back is his ability to Dual Wield.

Well you've gotta remember, the only reason Sora can dual wield is because he has Ven's heart. The second Keyblade he uses is Ven's. Without Ven's heart, he can't use that second Keyblade, because Ven will use it. So unless they pull an unexpected reason out of there ass, there is no way Sora can dual wield after giving up Ven's heart.

tutti frutti. In a way I can see Sora dual weilding without Ven's heart, mostly since we get the unexpected at some point and time in the series. SE would probably come up with the idea that Sora and Ven don't need each other's heart in order to wield to keyblades at the same time. Or at least something random like that.

Maybe the dual wield in later games can be explained by connecting hearts directly to one another. After all the keyblade is a connection to people's hearts.

Well the way i think of it, is that since Vanitas is a part of Vens heart, if Ven is revived Vanitas is revived also. I mean Robs explanation is ture also. So is Square wanted Vanitas to come back they would use a explanation like mine. If they didnt they would use a explanation of Robs. And about Aqua, Aqua if fine. Well she is in the realm of darkness, and she lost her 2 best friends and she is in a complete realm full of heartless most likely struggling to survive... Wait i frogot my point.

That's not dual wielding, that's handing another Keyblade over. If you notice, he isn't holding Way to Dawn at that moment. Just like you don't have to be a Keyblade Wielder to actually hold a Keyblade, you don't have to dual wield to hold two Keyblades. Plus some people think that Terra's heart may still be in Riku, though I don't think so. If anyone's heart would still be in Riku, I'd like to think it's ME heart, since they need Terra and MX heart to have Xehanort come back, which has already been confirmed.

I don't think that Ven's evil spirit will be coming back any time soon. I don't think Vanitas has a good plot for a future Kingdom Hearts title.
