anyway, no-one i know cares about the royal wedding.

Man, they're giving it so much attention in Australia. Everyday on the news, updates, updates, updates. Kate went shopping, OMG because people don't do that. Really overdoing it.

really? thats odd, because in england nobody really cares xD

obviously people are happy for the couple, but the news doesn't go on about it.

soz for being crap at history/geography, but i'm guessing australia has something to do with england/UK due to the fact that they're excited about the royal wedding, and the Union flag is on the Aussie flag?

Yes it is getting quite a bit of coverage. My mum can't wait to watch it on Friday. And yes Australia was settled by the English and is a Commonwealth country, so we do have close ties with England.

Whats a royal wedding?

Dude, The media over here in america is all over this. I thought we took pride in our independence from britain. WE have celebs, THEY have monarchy. Anywhoz, What is 7/7?

Inorite? it's so annoying, WE DON'T CARE.

@HelpMeRan-Sama; Prince Phillip is getting married to a girl named Kate, and everyone cares about Kate and nobody cares about Prince Phillip. That's a royal wedding.

@Chaosx I'm not entirely sure but I'm assuming it's the London bombings that happened a few years ago.

Well bra, Thats because kate is the bride, and gets all the shiny dresses, and rose from commoner to royalty, and ect. Kinda in sleeping beauty. And isn't his name William?

And, Waitwhat... They bombed london? WHY WAS I NOT INFORMED OF THIS? DAMN YOU AMERICAN MEDIA!!!

^Yeah it is William, and true as to why the bride is more popular. Also, she's hot.

If I remember correctly, some bombs when off at a train station, or on the street next to cars. Next to some sort of transportation, and people died. I probably should know more about this.

Why the f*ck would Roxas69 Think these are connected though?

Yeah, it's William, wanted to see if anyone would pick up on that :P

nice. sleeping beauty huh? (chaosx idea) :)) I found that funny. *weird.

I say sleeping beauty because Aurora was more of the focus, and FireStorm said Phillip.

1) yes there were bombing on 7/7 in london

2) the royal wedding has nothing to do with it, i don't know wth Roxas69 is talking about

3) i don't know why america, australia, or any countries outside of the UK care about the royal wedding

4) everyone likes both prince william and kate, but not many people are actually going to cancel their plans to watch the wedding

5) lol, England doesn't have celebs? incorrect.

6) there is one thing alot of americans don't understand: people in england don't care about the monarchy. the queen has no power, no-one ever even thinks about her. also, theres only about 2% of people in england who speak with posh accents.

7) i hate the term ''british accents'' and ''brits'' as britain is not a country. all the accents of people and the people themselves within britain are very different. if you confuse an irish accent with a socctish accent, or a welsh accent, or an english accent, you're an idiot.

i hope you enjoyed my info splash/rant

Well number 6 is interesting to know. I don't think that many people in Australia actually care about the monarchy but the wedding just sort of gives them something to be excited about. They'll all forget about like next week. And there's a page of facebook called "who gives a f%&$ about the royal wedding" and it has almost 300,000 members.

no.6 is all I was thinking about, but I watched bbc knowledge, people are like crazy want to watch/meet the Queen? Which one is true? >.<

No. 3 is soo true xD (I'm not included though I wonder why people do)

But I appreciate all the royalties  It's a kind-of pride that those people exist

@Sora'sMum Is that really the number? 'Coz I have opened the page and it only have 367 likes :\,all of the members must've liked it, right? Please don't make up fact? Just for comparison "I hate Justin Bieber club" only have 87,615 likes (and it has been around for two years)

number 6 is completely true, i know no-one between the ages of 10 and 70 who would be excited to meet the queen

and as for the facebook thing, you're probably looking at a different one to what he's talknig about (there's probably tonnes)

I was expecting some kind of lame Sora96 thread... and instead I got something I laughed at?

i'm guessing what you laughed at was not the original post though?

Actually it was more like...

"Oh great, he's come up with some lameass theory about conspriacy and what they have in common."

Read thread: 'nothing yet'

Me: "Oh... ... -snicker-"

Just me not getting what I expected... I still have no idea what the firetruck he's talking about though.

The best part about the whole Royal Wedding thing to me, is not having to go to College this Friday.

Other than that, I could not really care less if I am perfectly honest.

UUUGHHHH.

I would be perfectly fine with the Royal Wedding if they didn't overkill it in the States. Seriously, every single day it was either a segment in the news about her wedding dress, their "EXCITING" story, Kate's latest fashion, or "ohmygodhtismanydaysuntilthewweddingzomgggg." -- I'm pretty sure most of America got it after like the first 5 segments.

They seriously killed in within a week for me. I couldn't care less about it now. I understand it's neat and part of history and all, but I seriously don't care about it at all. xD

I checked again and it is the number. Currently at 294,505 people. Though now that you mention it, the number does seem pretty high for such a short amount of time. I guess just a lot of people really don't care.
