I've recently heard that Kingdom Hearts 2 final mix is an international copy of the game, so the voiceovers are english while the text is japanese. My brother and I really want the game, but we held back cuz we cant speak japanese and it be pointless if we couldnt know what was happening. We might get it now.

I am not completely convinced by this however. If the cutscenes are in english, then whats the need for translating? I have never seen a final mix cutscene with english voice acting.

Can anyone confirm this? Or is it false?

No its true. I honestly don't know why, but when we got Kingdom Hearts (we as in America), I heard it had more features than the Japanese Kingdom Hearts. So I believe...Yeah I don't know.

Usually the American version of games come with fewer glitches and more features. Japanese get it first, but the rest of us get it better.

Thanks for the reply. Hasnt answered my question though. :/

Only the scenes are in English. The subtitles are in Japanese, along with all of the items and text boxes (so the entire menu, along with weapons and equipment). Plus, the extra scenes are all in Japanese, but you can watch them with English subs on Youtube and other Kingdom Hearts websites.

kingdom hearts 2 final mix is so worth it if you can play it on your PS2 then go for it that game is so awesome more than 10 new cut scenes re watch all cut scenes in theater mode dubbed in jap or English with jap subs also if you have a re chain of memories jap version (comes with kh2fm) you can watch in theater mode the new cut scenes dubbed in jap and you can fight the 5 members of the org which you fight in RE COM and you also fight roxas instead of just a awesome cut scene you can also fight all 13 members of the org these are called data fights plus you can have a super hard time with Terra fight him 3 times plus 2 cool keyblades a golden crown org 13 mushrooms and cool weapons fro donald and goofy

bt dnt you like have to have either a japanese ps2 or some type of modifying program attached to a american ps2 in order to evn play it?

to tululu yes you have to have either a japanese ps2 or some devices that connect to an american ps2 so you can be able to play a japanese game on an american ps2. kh2 final mix is definitely worth it, just like sora96 said. even though the extra cutscenes are in japanese text, you can always look the up in youtube and find them with the translations. but there is so many more fun and awesome stuff in kh2 final mix than what there is in normal kh2.

my bro is extremely interested in the data battles. and im positive my dad can get any stuff we need, cuz he has connections.

off topic, does anyone have links to the extra cutscenes NOT translated by KH vids net?

its worth playing!!!! and if you played kh2 enough, you will memorize the items stuff. (plays kh waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much Oo)

i want it sooooo bad i juust cant stand playing games i cant understand! it just repels me how you dont know what weapons you get or equipment you find for some reason. its just ridiculous that i dont care about the cutscenes but the other stuff just bothers me.
