Sora and Riku will have new clothes in Kingdom Hearts 3D

Posted

In an interview, Tetsuya Nomura said that he wanted to design new clothes for Sora and Riku in Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. The reason why is so fans won't think it's a remake. In the Kingdom Hearts 3D trailer at the Nintendo event, Sora and Riku are wearing their original clothes from KH1 which may lead fans to think that 3D is a remake. A lot of you guys on this website have shared your opinions on this. Some have even made theories.

Tetsuya Nomura has been the character designer for several Final Fantasy games and all Kingdom Hearts games. Sora and Riku's new clothes obviously will look cool, stylish, new, fresh, and have belts and zippers (dosen't all of Nomura's characters have belts and zippers http://kh13.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/dry.gif ?). Anyway I'm stoked that Sora and Riku are having a clothes change because Kingdom Hearts Sora is getting old.

I don't want them to get new cloths, at least not yet. We've played as KH1 Sora in so many games while we've only played as KH2 Sora in one game. I would like to play as KH2 Sora in some other games as well before he and Riku gets new cloths again.

I would very much like Sora and Riku to get some clothes, or armor, or whatever. I want the fools who say they won't get KH3D because "Nomura's milking the series, or it's not important, or it's stupid filler" to be envious and jealous while all of us are enjoying Sora in 3D! Mwah ha ha! Mwah ha ha!

... oh, and it'd be pretty cool too. Not really a big fan of Sora/Riku's KH2 clothes, so I don't wanna see too much of that.

I hope it's their armors. But I'd like some new outfits that aren't armors as well.

And Playing as KH2 sora/riku at least once more would be nice.

I thought it wasn't determined if they were getting new clothes or not. I thought Nomura said something like, "Maybe I should put them in the new clothes so people won't think it's a remake." He very well could be talking about their KH2 attire. Personally, I don't think they'll get new clothes until KH3. But I love the idea. But has Nomura actually said there are going to be new clothes in 3D?

Yes, Nomura said he will "consider", not that he was going to do it, he's thinking whether he should do it or not.

I need them to have new clothes. Or rather, I never wanna see them in their Kingdom Hearts attire ever again. I want them to stay in their Kingdom Hearts II attire or something else. It will make my day.

thank God lol i despise the KH clothes. its definitely time for a change.

I'm pretty sure when E3 comes next month we'll see Sora and Riku wereing new clothes. Nomura alrady knows that this is a problem.
