So, in Re: Coded, Data Riku talks briefly about he and Kairi's torment. He proceeds to show a scene of Kairi and himself at the Neverland Clock Tower. He says that he and Kairi had both lost themselves and were therefore hurting. Darkness had taken over Riku's heart, but Kairi had lost hers completely.

 

Anywho, my question is: do you think Sora will somehow have to heal Riku and Kairi's torment in the new games? They seem healed going by what Data Riku said, but do you think there will be more to it? I can't imagine Nomura having that scene if it doesn't carry some weight. But how do you think Sora will save them? And why does no one ever consider Sora's pain? LOL

 

Personally, I wouldn't mind trying to save Riku and Kairi. It'd surely be different than saving VTA, and everyone else. But saving someone emotionally, perhaps, might be cool. Who knows? Maybe it would make Kairi actually important somehow. But what do you guys think?

 

And for the heck of it, do you think Roxas, Axel, Xion, Naminé, Ansem the Wise, and Master Eraqus will be saved? In what way do you think they'll be saved? As we already know VTA will be saved, you don't have to include them. But if you have something to say about them, feel free!

sora, riku and kairi got their "happy" ending. it was kingdom hearts II. none of them need to be saved, they need to do the saving.

 

as for erauqs, he will not be saved, i believe is role is done.

 

vta will be saved, you said you know this already and it is pretty much agreed upon.

 

xion will be saved, do not doubt it. i dont believe that she will come back physically, however i have said in the past that i believe that we will see some sort of touching moment involving roxas (or sora as roxas), xion, and axel. therefore, axel and roxas will also be saved in the process. isa might be involved in this, i am honestly REALLY torn on that character.

 

in my opinion namine already had her happy ending. she will be with roxas forever, therefore she was saved. you might argue that therefore roxas also got saved, but i disagree since he never got his happy ending with xion or axel, whom arguable mean even more to him than namine. i do not want to start a roxion vs namixas (or whatever the kids call it these days) debate though lol

Ansem the wise will return, because at the end of birth by sleep they showed ansem and aqua talking to each other about sora.

 

They'll only save Aqua; they'll leave Ansem the Wise in there to rot after what he did to Riku.

Yeah, once Roxas remembers Xion, it will be like "Namine who?" lol because he never really knew her. It was just that she was Kairi's nobody and he was Sora's. He also may have been thinking of Xion when he saw her. And Roxas has a lot of issues he never really resolved. Also, you gotta think, he probably has Ven's heart, so those memories will probably be partly transfered to Ven as well when he wakes up.

Namine didn't really get her happy ending quite yet in my opinion; Sora never thanked her for real, and I feel that has to happen. She also has to be sure that everyone is safe before she's truly at rest too, I think; I have a feeling she may take part in healing Ven's heart or something. And yeah, Xion probably won't come back unless it's some crazy complicated way, most likely occuring later on.

 

I disagree about Eraqus, though; I doubt they just put it in there that TErra is harboring Eraqus' heart. He probably won't come back in the future, but it probably means something about the past 10 years.

Just so you know, sora gives kairi back her heart, but I'm not exactly sure what happens to riku...

I feel like that may be important in KH3, simply because the game, from what we know of it, is about stopping MX and saving those that are hurt.
