Story:

 

Chaos has obtained a strong power and has threatened to destroy the universe if he has the ultimate power, The warriors have teamed up once again to help Cosmos to destroy this evil, Most worlds have been destroyed or ruined by Chaos' power. The Warriors of Cosmos need to stop Chaos from obtaining the ultimate power, the power that holds the whole universe together, they call it the Ultima it has the power to create and destroy a whole universe, it controls time and space. The warriors of Chaos have to stop Cosmos' Warriors obtaining the Ultima so they can hand it over to Chaos so he can absorb the power and use it to take over the universe or destroy it.

 

Rules:

 

1: No taking control of other peoples Characters without permission.

 

2: You can use your own character or a Final Fantasy Character.

 

3: You can choose which side you want to be on Chaos or Cosmos.

 

4: You can't kill other people's characters without permission.

 

5: Don't use bad language, things like Crap or Damn are allowed but no words that are too bad.

 

6: You can be Kingdom Hearts Characters.

Lightning looked the girl over. She had just attacked them! She didn't trust her as far as she could throw her. "Fine. Just keep an eye on her." She stepped between them. "I know I will be." She continued past Balthier to the entrance of the Nascant Throne. "First, we need to find Serah. I won't lose her again." She paused, looking to the others. "If that's alright with you guys."

Sec let no emotion show as he turned from his beloved city to Hope. "That girl, Claire. She will be hunting you down for what you did to Snow. We need to get an edge on her." A dark Portal appeared between them. "Bring us Serah Farron."

~Rinoa~

So that was Lightning.....she definitley didn't seem to thrilled to be meeting her, Rinoa thought. "I see what you mean Vaan. But I won't let it get to me!" She smiled and held out her finger (her trademark pose) and then began to walk towards the rest of the group. Vaan ran along and said to Light, "So that was your sister? Why not guys? I mean she seems fairly gifted and I know most of us would want to find the person closest to us right?"

 

Rinoa looked around as everyone nodded and Lightning waiting for her response. Rinoa sighed and muttered, "Mabye I can find a way to get my memories back along the way". Vaan smiled at her and whispered, "I hope you get them back too!"

{Balthier}

Balthier looks at Rinoa. Interesting woman. Could be helpful. Balthier follows along, thinking.

He hoped that his father would get the data he needs to end this war. Balthier didn't like the idea of working with Dr Cid, but they both wanted the same thing. Balthier also secretly hopes that this would be a way for Dr Cid to over come his madness, become the man he had been.

He quickened his pace to catch up with Lightning.

"So, what's the plan now?" He asks casually.

{Dr Cid}

 

"Bring us Serah Farron." Was the last thing Dr Cid heard from his hiding place. He had listened in of Sec's and Hope's meeting. A smile crossed his face. This was perfect.

He took off his glasses and started to clean them. As he did so, he stepped out where Sec and Hope could see him.

"A bold plan, Sec." He said, still cleaning. "One that could prophet us all."

Lightning looked from Balthier to the doorway exiting the Throne. "Serah's probably headed towards Sanctuary. We should follow suit." She looked over to Rinoa. "I'll bet she hasn't been there, either."

"And the doctor reveals himself." Sec answered. "Did you enjoy your stay?" He had detected the doctor minutes before. He simply hadn't cared. The Estheim boy was where his attention was...

 

"I fail to see how you can profit from my plan. Kingodm Hearts is a power that few can control." He smiled. "I apologize. I meant to say: that few have the will to control."

{Balthier}

Balthier looks back to Rinoa and then back to Lightning.

"You have a problem with our new recruit?" Balthier asks in a low voice.

{Dr Cid}

 

Dr Cid replaces his glasses on his face and looks at Sec.

"Oh, but it does. You see, with Ultima and your 'Kingdom Hearts', we can destroy the 'gods' that control us. And place OUR destinies where they belong."

He moves his hands as if grabbing something.

"In our hands."

He looks in Sec's eyes.

"That is what you want."

He looks into Hope's eyes.

"You as well."

Dr Cid grins.

"Together, we can make that want a reality."

Lightning moved closer, practically in Balthier's face. "She dropped in and attacked us. Now she's playing nice with Vaan. Of course I don't trust her. We should leave her behind." She knew her words sounded harsh, but it was how she felt. How could Lightning trust this girl who couldn't even control herself?

"The fate of the gods is of no consequence to me." Sec turned from the intruder, looking back to the ruins outside. "In time, I will have a power to exceed that of Cosmos and Chaos. With Kingdom Hearts, I can save the worlds." He yurned to the good doctor. "All of them. Even Ivalice. Imagine, if you will..."

 

Sec began to pace the room. "Every world without war nor famine. Light and darkness in perfect balance. Even the gods could not pervert this balance." (OOC: Yes, I said pervert. Live with it.) He stopped, turning to his guests. "That is why I need Ultima to summon Kingdom Hearts. And after the Door to Darkness is mine, we shall be saved."

All of this was too much for him. Hope couldn't tell exactly what was going on. Did the two of them both think that he was still enraged with Snow? He could use this to his advantage. A pawn of Chaos, pining to be a pawn of Cosmos. They'd never suspect it. If he played buddy-buddy with them, he'd be able to save his friends.

 

"I'm not fighting for either one of you," Hope interupted. "I will get Serah, but I do it of my own volition."

 

'Ultima will be mine,' Hope thought. 'I'll protect Lightning with it, and Serah if I can.'

 

Another dark portal appeared behind Hope. He turned and entered.

"Way to go Mog!" Serah shouted, as her bowblade turned back into the cute moogle. All the Manakins had easily been dispatched.

 

"KUPO?" Mog said pointing.

 

Serah turned around, but saw nothing. But she couldn't shake the feeling that someone was watching her...

{Balthier}

Balthier shrugs.

"I personally think that we have been luck that we haven't had more problems with confusing unknown ally with unknown enemy. Give her some time." Balthier says in a low voice.

Balthier pats Lightning's shoulder and gives her a wink.

{Dr Cid}

Dr Cid watched Hope leave then returned his gaze to Sec.

"You seem to be a man of great dreams." Dr Cid says approvingly. "Tell me, where did you learn of this 'Kingdom Hearts?'"

Sec's face was devoid of emotion. "I believe some information is worth keping to one's self." His tone shifted form defensive to prying. "And what of you, the doctor who never reveals his true motives?"

That man was rather chummy for someone she barely knew. Lightning watched as Balthier put a hand on her shoulder, winking. She didn't know quite what to make of him. She apparently couldn't even trust her own friends, and he was acting rather shady himself. But it didn't matter. She had to find Serah...

 

"Alright, let's head out. Sanctuary isn't close by..."

(OoC: it seems everyone is changing their avi to their main character )

¥ Vaan/ Rinoa ~

 

"Balthier wait up!" Vaan ran forward with Rinoa and pulled him back away from Lightning. "Lights not going to give in easy is she? Well in any case we should hurry up to the Sanctuary to find Serah and to get you initiated to Team Cosmos Rinoa!" Vaan did a little happy jump as they began to walk out of Orphan's Cradle and out onto the main surface of World B. Rinoa gasped as she took in all of the new world.

 

"So back there Vaan, you were explaining how within this whole world, a piece of ours is recreated but what is yours? And how can I find mine? And is there really someone from our home world here to oppose us? Because the only person I remember is her. Ultimecia.".Rinoa frowned and looked down frightened by just saying her name.

 

"Woah slow down there! In order: Yes,we each have a place familiar to us. Mine and Baltrier's here is The Sky Fortress Bahamut. It's a large Arcadian airship soaring through the air." He saw Rinoa perk up at this and continued, "Mabye you can ask Cosmos or mabye we will go by it and you'll recognize it. But wait.... Ultimecia!? You know that witch? She's bad news but if your from her world then your home here would be..... Her Castle." Vaan sighed as he looked at Rinoa staring at her feet most likely frightened. Ultimecia was obviously somebody big from her past but wasn't Squall from that world too? Mabye he should see if she knew him.

 

He tapped her on the shoulder and looked into her eyes. "Please Rinoa, Don't Be Afraid we are all here and we will help you Find Your Way to The Castle if that's what you want (OoC: me bring an ff8 nerd with the music). But we will keep you safe from Her. By any chance do or did you know a man named Squall? He was here for the previous cycles but....." His voice drifted off as he saw her standing with her eyes and hand closed concentrating. After a moment she shook her head and replied, "Sorry can't say I have.....but it sounds familiar." She held her hand out and a white feather appeared and flew into the air. Rinoa ran forward and called, "Follow it Lightning! It will lead us to where we must be!" With that she ran ahead determined to help the others to pay them back for helping her after she crashed.

Lightning watched as the girl ran ahead. Vaan looked to her smiling, chasing after Rinoa. With a sigh, she gestured to Balthier that they should go.

 

If she was form Ultimecia's world, then was it her who was cintrolling Rinoa? And it didn;t seem like something she could fight, either. Things were looking bad for Rinoa in Lightning's mind. But that didn't matter. Thoughts of Serah drifted about, pecking at her like a mental buzzard. She remembered Barthandelus from Oerba, and being in Orphan's Cradle. The fal'Cie merging with Orphan came ot mind, but after that... nothing. Had she saved Serah? Snow and Hope seemed to remember more than she did. She felt... left out, somehow.

 

And on top of that, Serah looked different somehow. She had more resolve...

 

"What am I missing?"

OOC: AnsemTheWise has my secondary character, but I'll change mine too.

 

Hope fell out of the portal onto World B. He looked around. There was nothing but a moogle an some sort of crystal lying around. He picked up a blue one because for some reason it felt right. Suddenly, more Manakins appeared.

 

"You again?" Hope said.

 

"MaSTer, We aRE heRe TO sERvE yoU," they said.

 

"Well then serve me by dying!" Hope shouted. He tossed Nue at the leader Manakin, a Fleeting Hero (Snow's) and destroyed it.

 

The others surrounded him in an attack formation. Fleeting Flash (Lightning's) jumped at him, but he smote it with a Water. Fleeting Faiths (Serah's) shot arrows at him, but he Paradigm Shifted to a Synergist and cast Protect on himself to block the arrows. He then cast Bravery on himself and Paradigm Shifted to a Ravager.

 

"I DON'T KNOW MY OWN STRENGTH!" he shouted and sent beads of light up into the air. They came crashing down as beams of light, shattering the Manakins.

 

Hope stood amongst the wreckage. He reached back into his pocket and took out the blue crystal and gazed into it. The light refracted off of it, making a rainbow.

 

Just then, a white feather blew by.

{Dr Cid}

Dr Cid shakes his head in disappointment at Sec's question.

"That hurts." He says in an injured tone. "I lay out my dreams in front of you, and you disregard them, searching for hidden meanings."

Dr Cid then grins wide.

"A hallmark of a man with intelligence." He says in a warm tone. "My motives are already know to you. To add more would be useless."

His grin turns to a wry smile.

"And you Sec. What is your hidden meaning?"

~ Rinoa ~

 

She had ran very far ahead of the group after their guide: the feather. But as far as they were behind her the feather was still getting away. "Should I wait for them or.....if I find Serah I can bring her back and show Lightning I can dedicate myself to this team!" She did a little fist pump as her wings appeared and she took flight.

 

"Yoohoo!" She was amazed at the view but things became less beautiful when a purple thing came flying at her. She gasped as shards of ice flew out at her and she had to dodge by diving down and landing on the ground. The purple thing followed suit and landed and she could make out it's shape. It was her! Then it shot it's blaster edge at her and in a flash Rinoa pulled her gunblade out and blocked it sending it back. Then as the manikin was about to catch it Rinoa sent out a fire spell causing it to shatter into pieces.

 

"Whew.....glad that's over with!" She put her gunblade away and blindly ran off to the feather. She could see it flying above when she crashed into somebody and fell. "I'm sorry!" She looked down to see a cute boy under her.

{Balthier}

Balthier had noticed Rinoa go ahead and he followed. He may want to give Rinoa a chance to prove herself, but he was no fool. He watched as she fought the manakin of herself.

"Hmm, she has some skill." He thought with approval.

He continued watching when Rinoa ran into Hope. It took Balthier a moment to recognize Hope. Anger boiled in Balthier, but he kept it down. Now was not the time to blow up. First, understand why. He walked over to Rinoa and Hope.

"Ah, I was wondering when you'd show up again, Hope." He said causally. "Our last meeting didn't go so well."

Balthier crouches down beside the prone Hope.

"Care to explain?"

OOC: Yeah, I figured new Serah would be a cool avi.

 

"HOPE!" Lightning leapt through the air, drawing her gunblade simultaneously. She practically threw Rinoa to the side, lifting Hope up by his collar. "Give me answers!" She shook the boy, who averted his gaze. "How could you join Chaos?! How could you betray Snow?! How could you betray us?!" Her tone darkened, and then became weak. "What would Vanille say about this?" Her grip weakened, Hope dropping to his feet.

"My meaning is as I have explained. I wish to see the salvation of the worlds, and nothing more. Now, if you will excuse me..." Sec walked past Doctor Cid. "I have business to attend to." And with that, he faded away.

{Balthier}

Balthier bows his head. He had hoped to do this calmly and get answers the same way, not all this emotional ups and downs. He looks back up to study Hope. He saw...regret.

"You had no choice." He says quietly to Hope. "Is that right?"

{Dr Cid}

Dr Cid watched after Sec for a moment, then turned to leave himself.

"He could be a problem."

Dr Cid smiles at the sound of his friend's silent contact.

"Good to have you back." Dr Cid says happily. "Did things go well?"

"No. Your son destroyed the nethicite and forsook my contact."

Dr Cid shook his head.

"Regrettable, but not unforeseen."

A short silence ensues.

"What is your plan for Sec?"

"He will be a great help to the plan."

"Excellent."

OOC: Quick entry before school.

 

Hope backed away slowly.

 

"I. I. Didn't mean to kill him. I thought he was a Ci'eth. But that doesn't change anything," Hope said. "We are sworn enemies, but I'll leave you alone today."

 

Hope turned to go.

 

"By the way," the boy said. "Where's Serah?"

 

That's when Lightning noticed the blue crystal in Hope's hand. Could it be...?

Zidane went into Chaos' territory with his cloak on.

He was walking past manikins who watched him for a quick second.

"Man...they are all looking at me..." he says then stop infront of one The capricious theif.

Zidane is still anoyed that there are Manikins that look like him.

He carried on walking through the dusty deserted fields, choc full of Manikins.

"No. Not Serah!" Lightning charged, swinging her gunblade up. Hope jumped back, almost dropping the tear. "I swear, Hope. If you touch one hair on her head, I'll-" She stopped. He was her friend! What was she doing?! Her arms fell to her sides as Lightning took a step back.

 

Hope's face turned to a scowl as he vanished, the crystal tear in hand.

{Balthier}

Balthier shakes his head. This was not going to end well.

"We better find Serah before our young friend pops back up." He says to Lightning.

He turns and starts running towards the Sanctuary.

Johnny and Jaina had made decent progress. They passed Cresent Lake and were heading towards the Mirage Sandsea. Progress was getting made when Johnny looked down at the charm. It had not responded yet. No one had needed him, or they didn't have the chance to. Johnny and Jaina hastened their venture towards the Lands of Discord.

(wow, what the hell's going on?)

Zack slowly woke up, he was at the sanctuary.

"What happened?" He asked. he slowly got up, he remembered hearing a voice.

"Even if the morrow is BArren of promisses... nothing shall forstall, my return."

Zack held his head.

"So... familiar?" HE asked.

 

Zack rubbed his head and looekd out.

"Anyone there?" He asked, he got no answer.

OOC: Sorry, I went away for a few days and forgot my laptop!

Serah and Mog were still walking around the outskirts of the Sanctuary. Suddenly, Mog's crystal (in FFXIII-2, crystals replace moogle's pom-poms) turned from red to purple.

 

"KUPO!" it said, and flew off without Serah.

 

"Wait up Mog!" Serah cried out and chased it.

 

Mog had stopped next to a SOLDIER lying on the ground.

 

"Are you all right?" Serah said running over.

 

The boy looked dazed. Serah cast CURE on him.

 

As she stood up, her hand brushed against something a little unsettling. The boy had been surrounded in a ring of black feathers.
