Story:

 

Chaos has obtained a strong power and has threatened to destroy the universe if he has the ultimate power, The warriors have teamed up once again to help Cosmos to destroy this evil, Most worlds have been destroyed or ruined by Chaos' power. The Warriors of Cosmos need to stop Chaos from obtaining the ultimate power, the power that holds the whole universe together, they call it the Ultima it has the power to create and destroy a whole universe, it controls time and space. The warriors of Chaos have to stop Cosmos' Warriors obtaining the Ultima so they can hand it over to Chaos so he can absorb the power and use it to take over the universe or destroy it.

 

Rules:

 

1: No taking control of other peoples Characters without permission.

 

2: You can use your own character or a Final Fantasy Character.

 

3: You can choose which side you want to be on Chaos or Cosmos.

 

4: You can't kill other people's characters without permission.

 

5: Don't use bad language, things like Crap or Damn are allowed but no words that are too bad.

 

6: You can be Kingdom Hearts Characters.

{Dr Cid}

Dr Cid looks over at Vicante.

"You are not invited to this conversation." Dr Cid says simply. "Venat?"

Venat opens a portal and magically throws Vicante through. Venat closes the portal.

Dr Cid looks over at Lightning.

"You have not met my friend, Venat." Dr Cid says.

Venat shimmers into Lightning's view.

"Greetings." Venat greets.

Dr Cid's face goes hard.

"There is one opinion to end this war. And that is Cosmos being victorious. Do you agree?"

Jaina could see the man in red and Chaos talking. They had said something about her? She couldn't tell. The dark side was closing off every way of Jaina to get to the outside world.

Johnny though for a second about a plan. Up until that point, he had thought just charging in would do the trick. But they had Jaina. They had leverage. They needed a way to get in, get Jaina, and get out before Chaos noticed.

"What we need is some sort of distraction," Johnny told the group. "A way to get Chaos and his warriors away from Jaina and to get whatever leads they have." He turned away to think some more, "But how? We don't even know where they are or how to get there. We don't even know if there are manikins guarding Chaos."

Vicente landed hard on the Old Chaos Shrine.

"That damned Venat!" Vicente shouted into the closing portal. "Cid's got a warrior, Hope's never gonna work for me, and Genesis is spilling the beans!"

"So much for revenge," a voice called out in his mind. "You're wasting your talents looking to such lowly help."

Vicente got down on his knees to the voice, "Master, forgive me. What should I do?"

"Give into discord, allow me to take your body. I can follow your lead and bring whatever is in that cave out. We may very well be able to turn this war to our favor."

"And bring a better Chaos into the fray?"

"Exactly."

Cosmos? Victorious? What angle was he playing from? And this creature he calls "Venat"...

 

"Cosmos winning, huh? Doesn't sound too bad." Lightning's voice was flat, no emotion evident. She felt no joy in what she was doing, even if it was to help Cosmos. She wore the brand of Chaos and conspired with her enemy. So far as she could tell, she was a traitor. What would Serah think?

 

It didn't matter. She was doing this for Serah. She would do anything for Serah. "Where do I go? Who do I kill? Just point me in the right direction." She told the Doctor.

{Dr Cid}

"We don't have to worry about killing people just yet." Dr Cid says jovially. "For now, we search."

Dr Cid looks thoughtful for a moment.

"I have yet to find the piece from your world. Any idea where it might be?"

(doesn't johnny think Jaina's dead?)

Genesis looked at the girl.

"He'll be back, girl." he said, she looke down. (and also, how does Vicante know enesis tattled on him?)

-meanwhile-

Zack sighed.

"I doubt it, Chaos wouldn't be the type that needs protection." he said, the others nodded.

"I guess we ust get over there, and then form a plan." Zack then said. They had no idea where they were going into.

Lightning didn't have to think. "I know exactly where it is." The duo vanished, reappearing in the Nascant Throne of Orphan's Cradle. It wasn't too long ago that they had fought Barthandelus here. If a clue to Ultima lay in her world, it would be here.

 

Orphan was the fal'Cie responsible for keeping Cocoon alive, the Nascant Throne its physical home. There was no doubt. "So, what are we looking for? A crystal, or..."

{Dr CId}

Dr Cid shakes his head.

"We are looking for a piece of your worlds legends or history that mention Ultima."

Dr Cid looks around.

"Barthandelus most likely had a cash of books or the like that would hold what we are looking for."

Dr Cid moves off to start his search.

joe has his sword at the ready when a voice echos in his head "welcome to the side of cosmos prepare yourself to face off against the side of choas" joe looks around "this sounds a little weird" some strange creatures then appear infront of joe "what the hell are them things" "creatures of choas defeat them and profe yourself or lose and die" "owe hard choice" joe then readys his sword he ran at the creatures cutting down two easyly four more then surround him joe looks at them "this all you got" joe closes his eyes and a crystal appears by his arm joe catchs it and then cuts down throw it "shiva" joe calls as the twin sisters appear joe then has them turn into there motorcycle form and joe jumps on joe reves up the bike "lets cool these things off" joe then does a 360 spin knocking back all the creatures and incasing them in ice the motorcycle then disappears and joe quickly shatters the creatures in the ice joe then puts his sword away "that all you got"

It made sense that Barthandelus would have a library, but where would it be? Lightning thought back to the Palamecia, trying to think of where the wreckage would be. No. The fal'Cie had only been there a few hours. There wouldn't be anything there but twisted metal. If there were a clue to Ultima in this world, it would definitely be here.

 

She wandered to the throne in the center of the room. Maybe there was a switch or something. Doubtful, but one could hope, right? It was then that she saw Dysley's staff lodged into the wall. Perfect. She hastily moved over to it, pulling it out of the wall with all of her might. It stood about as tall as she did, the ornament at the top glowing.

 

There was a screech as Menrva flew in from above. She swung the staff downward, the fal'Cie swooping over her. It screeched, turning back around. Lightning pulled the staff back, slamming it into Menrva on its return. The staff shattered, the fal'Cie releasing a powerful shockwave as it vanished. Glass shattered around her and Doctor Cid, metal crumpling from the pressure. One of the wall panels cracked, falling forward to reveal a long hallway. That certainly wasn't there before...

 

"You wanted a secret?" She gestured down the hall. "There you go."

{Dr Cid}

Dr Cid's eyebrows go up.

"Excellent." He says with enthusiasm. "Well done, my dear."

He walks over to the entrance of the hall. He pauses a moment, wondering what kind of traps await Lightning and himself.

"Planned for that." He says to himself.

He turns to look at Lightning.

"Shall we?"

He turns and walks down the hall.

(Oh, Balthier just got to him with his little talk. And Vicente is an apprentice of Chaos' number 1. He's able to sense just about anything)

"Run in then form a plan. Sounds so much like you, Zack," Johnny laughed at himself. "I guess Chaos won't be protected, but he'll be prepared for us, I'm sure." A breeze passed Johnny and he seized up, "We'd better hurry, something's amiss out there."

Vicente know knew what it felt like to give himself into chaos. His body moved and all he could do was see out of his own eyes. The Cave of the Dragon King had yielded nothing yet, but they had yet to finish. Ultima may have well be within their grasp before too long.

all the strange creatures where gone and joe looked around the voice echoed in his head "well done and welcome to the side of cosmos young hero" joe listeans to the voice then hearing foot steps coming down the hallway he draws his sword once again waiting to see who was coming partly hoping it was someone he knew

Zack and the others got in closer, they could see Chaos' stronghold.

'Suppose he's in there?'zack aske,d the others shrugged.

'Hm... maybe more of his goons could be there...' he thought to himself. they walked out to see Manikins.

Genesis looked out.

'Zack and his friends...' he thought to himself.

-meanwhile-

Chaos appeared in the cave.

"Vicente..." he said.

"What are you doing?" he asked.

Vicente's body raised a massive sword up to Chaos, also summoning a bow, lance, shield, and a hammer.

"It is not Vicente you seek, Chaos, but his true master, long thought dead," Vicente's voice was not his own, and Chaos recognized the voice.

"You... you're supposed to be dead..."

"The reports of my demise were, in fact, greatly exaggerated... you understand, no?" Vicente's eyes glowed red. Vicente had been possessed fully by his fallen master.

"More of them," Johnny said. He summoned a Keyblade and looked over at Balthier, Serah and Zack. "Think we can handle this many?"

Jaina saw the man in red look out towards the edge of the mainland. She saw a man with black hair... a man in white and tan clothes... an outlandish looking girl... and...

"Johnny?" she shouted in suprise, and that shout managed to make it out of her physical mouth.

"You can't do that," the dark side replied, covering the physical mouth.

She saw the crowd of manikins between Johnny and her and she knew that they weren't gonna let him through, no matter what. 'I've got to get free... for his sake...' She manifested her pistols in her mind and began to fight her dark side.

It seemed the doctor was unsure if Lightning would stab him in the back. Good. If the circumstances were different, she would have. Unforunately, she needed his help to find this Ultima. Lightning picked up speed, her clanking armor resounding down the hallway. The walls slowly became translucent, the open sky soon surrounding them. 'That's right. We're on an airship.' Lightning remembered. She had been in the war this long and was still remembering things. How much did she forget?

 

Her attention came back around, however, when they entered an enormous library. Shelves were lined with a sea of books. From the looks of them, they were from both Cocoon and Gran Pulse. What would a fal'Cie need with all of these?

 

"This what you're looking for?"

Jaina managed to defeat the dark side and regained her senses. She collapsed in the real world, but she made sure that the necklace was removed, throwing it as far away as she could. She looked at the man in red, who had noticed her change in heart.

'This is not good...'

{Balthier}

Balthier pulls out his gun.

"The only other option is us dieing." Balthier answers Johnny.

Balthier looks to his comrades and smirks.

"And dieing is not something a leading man does lightly."

Balthier quickly takes aim at a manikin of Lightning and fires. The bullet passes through the manikin's head, shattering it.

"Let's begin!" Balthier shouts as a challenge to the warriors of Chaos who were listening and as an encouragement to his friends.

{Dr Cid}

 

Dr Cid immediately starts pulling books of shelves, glancing at them, then dropping them.

"We're are looking for texts that deal with how your world was created." Dr Cid informs Lightning with out halting his search. "Also, any original manuscripts will be of interest."

Finding an old book, Dr Cid places it on a table in the center of the library, and continues his search. Venat appears in front of the book. The book levitates up and the pages flip by as the Occurian scans each page for what they need. Venat finishes the book in seconds. It's gaze seems to fall upon Lightning.

"Any books you find that might contain what we need, bring it to me and I will search it." Venat instructs Lightning.

"I don't need a book. Barthandelus was pretty clear about the whole thing." Lightning told the Occurian.

 

"Luminous lamented, for creation spiraled unto doom. Stout fashioned earth, that future might take root. Sage turned mind's eye inward, seeking truth profound. Fool desired naught, and soon was made one with it. Maker forged fal'Cie, from fragments Maker's own. Maker forged Man, from traces once Divine. In time the gods departed, leaving all by their hands wrought. Fal'Cie were as Man forsaken, orphans of Maker absconded."

 

The words came from her mouth as if they had a mind of their own. How did she know that? She definitely never read it before. Could Barthandelus have something to do with it? "There are no historical accounts of anything. Only legends. Pulse's version won't get you any further."

One by one the Manakins fell. Serah looked around as her friends easily felled the monsters. She herself shot several down with her bow and the shattered into crystals. Balthier shouted to her right, and she grinned and shot a Ruin over his head to hit an enemy. She saw that Johnny was avoiding using the X-Blade, so at least he had a say in his own fate.

Hope turned to see that Lightning didn't follow and that Cid and her had vanished.

 

"What now!" he cried. "I have nowhere to go, no one to trust; no one will trust me! I'm lost."

 

Just then, a light appeared in front of him. He stepped into it.

 

Hope was standing in very thin water, almost up to the laces of his boots. All he could see for miles were whiteness and green ribbons in the air. As Hope proceeded forward, the water splashed gentley around his feet. An unknown force drove him forward.

 

Finally he stood in front of a throne. On it, clad in white, sat none other than the goddess of Harmony herself.

 

"Warrior of Chaos, you want to protect your friends. That is a noble plight," she said to him. "You may not have been brought into this world by me, but I will offer you two roads. One to power, the other, to security. Finding Ultima and saving your friends may not be on the same road, or they may still be intricatley intertwined."

 

"Cosmos," said Hope, bowing down on a knee. "I would wish to serve you intead. I want to protect my friends. But I don't know my own strength."

 

"You have chosen the road to light. You do know your strength, and your focus," the goddess said.

 

Hope was lifted gently off the ground as he floated, he was surrounded by a crystal-like mist. His mark on his hand was shining. The Eye in it which had been open closed again. A light basked over Hope. As he took one last look into the eyes of the goddess. Hope crystalized. As he did, his crystal dissappeared.

 

 

Suddenly, it reappeared in front of...

 

(OOC: Somebody, go for it!)

joe still hearing noices all around him then saw a flash of bright light and a crstal appeared in front of him joe jumped back in surprise "what the hell where did this come out of" joe looked at the crystal "wait a second its a L'cie who must of finished there focus kind of like how i did wonder if theres anyway i can help wake them up"

Zack slashed through the last manikin, he sighed.

"That's dealt with." he said, he de-materialized his sword. he then looked to the others.

"Alright, anybody know anythign about what we'll be facing in there?" Zack asked, hopefully someone had experience doing this type of thing.

-meanwhile-

"So you broke his hold over you?" she slowly stood up, steppign back, he chuckled. she drew a gun towards him, he chuckled.

"Don't, don't you want to see johnny again?" he asked, she looked away thinking. she then shot towards him, Genesis immediatley summon ed his broad-sword and blocked the attack, she stepped backwards and tripped.

-meANWHILE-

Chaos stared at this, thing. (Seriously? do I need to control Chaos? I haven't even finished the game yet)

"A traitor?" he asked, the man stepped towards him, Chaos laughed and formed a sword in one of his hands.

Before Joe's eyes, the crystal came to life. The crystal melted away from the boy, just as snow off is shaken off one's body. The boy was suddenly lifted into the air. His body shone in a bright, white light, as his features grew more defined. His age looked closer to 19 than it did to 14. Magically, clothes began appearing on his body. His Ultimate Weapon, Nue, appeared in his right hand. The boy then gently floated back to a standing position.

 

The boy looked at his clothing, felt his taller height, and looked at Joe standing before him in awe (both of them).

 

"My name is Hope Estheim," he said, "and to the Warriors of Cosmos, evil."

joe looked at hope he then yawned "hum thought it might of been harder to get you out of there guess not you came out all by yourself by the way names joe i'm from cocoon but for the last few years i was living on pulse now i find myself here and i got no idea what the hell is going on so mind tell me the most i know is i'm on the side of cosmos" joe says shrugging joe then thinks "wait warriors of cosmos your evil okay" joe then jumped back and readyed his sword

Serah looked at Zack.

 

"I'm not sure, I've never been here before," she said. "But I feel as if my sister is up ahead. Let's go."

 

Serah's bow turned back into Mog and the two of them proceeded forward. She then turned around.

 

"Are you boys coming or not?" she taunted.

Hope brandished Nue.

 

"You're new here, so here's the deal. Chaos the god of Discord is seeking Ultima, the power to destroy worlds. The goddess of harmony, Cosmos, seeks to stop him. I have been summoned by the god Chaos to retreive Ultima for him; but I have rebelled. I fight to protect my friends, regardless of my foe. Pawn of Chaos, Pawn of Cosmos, I'll fight anybody. If you stand in my way, I'll have to strike you down. If you help me to find my friends, I won't."
