Story:

 

Chaos has obtained a strong power and has threatened to destroy the universe if he has the ultimate power, The warriors have teamed up once again to help Cosmos to destroy this evil, Most worlds have been destroyed or ruined by Chaos' power. The Warriors of Cosmos need to stop Chaos from obtaining the ultimate power, the power that holds the whole universe together, they call it the Ultima it has the power to create and destroy a whole universe, it controls time and space. The warriors of Chaos have to stop Cosmos' Warriors obtaining the Ultima so they can hand it over to Chaos so he can absorb the power and use it to take over the universe or destroy it.

 

Rules:

 

1: No taking control of other peoples Characters without permission.

 

2: You can use your own character or a Final Fantasy Character.

 

3: You can choose which side you want to be on Chaos or Cosmos.

 

4: You can't kill other people's characters without permission.

 

5: Don't use bad language, things like Crap or Damn are allowed but no words that are too bad.

 

6: You can be Kingdom Hearts Characters.

Johnny looked at the Sky Pirate and laughed. The dual sided Keyblade rose into the air and flew towards Balthier. He barely managed to escape the blow, and Johnny once more rose to his feet. The x-Blade flew back into Johnny's hand and he rose into the sky. A poweful magic came from the blade and Johnny began throwing beams of energy at his allies. He was stuck in his mind. He couldn't control the body. It was fueled by darkness and rage, as he had to suffer watching the fight through the blazing eyes.

Zack blocked with his sword, he slowly walked forward.

"Damn!" he screeched, this power was insane. Johnny finally stopped and then lunged towards Zack, who immediatley ducked and then slashed at his leg, Johnny fell to the ground. Zack grabbed his head and immediately forced it onto the ground, knocking him out, Zack breathed.

"Genesis set us up." he said, breathing.

-meanwhile-

Genesis watched.

"They actually survived?"

Johnny was out cold. His mind was awake and he could see, but his body still resisted any movement. He thought that his allies would never forgive him for letting his emotions take control again. He would be lucky if they just left him with a word to spare.

Vicente cursed himself, "How did that not work? He should have been able to handle them, no problem." His eyes fell on Balthier, "Curse him. Had he not arrived, this would have worked."

Genesis sighed. he looked to Vicante.

"PErhaps." he said. he then looked down on Zack.

"I think it's time I restore the equal librium." he said. Vicante looked to him. Genesis raised his hand and threw a wall of fire. it surrounded everyone, except zack. Genesis looked to Vicante.

"IK won't be gone long." he said, he then re-apppeared infront fo Zack. Zack stared at him.

"You!" he yelled, en esis chuckled.

"If you want to get with your friends again... seek me out, in planet's core." he said. stepping back into a portal of darkness, Zack sighed. he looekd to the others.

"I need to go after him, keep going, I'll meet up with you guys." he said, they slowly nodded, Zack started heading towards Planet's core.

The pain had finally subsided, Lightning puling herself to her feet. Chaos wanted her to end the war. What could that mean? Finding Ultima? Or maybe killing everyone else...

 

Unlike before, she didn't recieve a vision of her new Focus, leaving her nothing to work with. She bent over, picking up the heavy blade. A sword and a shield. Not exactly weapons she was used to, but she would have to make due.

 

"Well, I'm not getting anywhere just sitting around." Lightning said to herself. This hot, dry air was killing her. She'd have to go somewhere cooler for a while. She turned to leave, seeing Dr. Cid hanging out by the steps. She raised the sword, the shield at her side. That was something to get used to...

 

"You. You're that man from Orphan's Cradle. What are you doing here?"

{Balthier}

Balthier rolls his eyes as he watches Zack run off.

"Spiting up." Balthier says with a sarcastic edge to his voice. "Just what we need to do."

Balthier looks over at Johnny.

"Hopefully Zack knocked some sense into you, so listen up. We need to go after Zack. This whole chain of effect reek of trap."

He walks over to Johnny.

"I'm taking you with me, but if you give me any more trouble, I'll leave you in some hole and check in with you after this war is over."

Balthier stops as he is standing over Johnny.

"Understood?"

{Dr Cid}

Dr Cid gives Lightning a bow.

"I am here to help you complete your focus and protect your sister."

He smiles.

"And you don't even have to bow to the "god" of discord."

Zack found the cave again and slipped in, he made a thud and took a couple steps. he heard nothing and kept going, he finally walked into a lit cave, with a green wall.

'Planet's core...' he thought to himself. he looked down and saw Genesis, Zack got down there.

"You came." he said. Zack looked at him.

"you threatened my friends." he said, Genesis chuckled.

"True." he said, he looked towards Zack.

"Soldier first class... it's been a while since we met like this." he said. Zack rolled his eyes.

"Sorry, but I don't bow for anyone." Lightning walked past the doctor, never turning to look at him. "Especially those who worked with Barthandelus."

 

'I have to get out of here. This place is just draining me.' She tried to think of somewhere cool, preferably near the ocean. She felt something wash over her. Darkness? The feeling grew, the world around her going dark. In that same instant, the sky opened up to a bright blue. She could hear birds singing in the trees behind her, the waves lapping over her armored boots.

 

"How did I..." Lightning asked herself, looking to the seas of Besaid.

{Dr Cid}

Lightning hears the soft clapping of gloved hands behind her.

"Impressive, my dear." Dr Cid says in a jovial tone. "I would be interested in learning how you did that, but know is not the time."

His voice grows serious.

"If you and I do not act quickly, Chaos could get his hands on Ultima and then the worlds come to an end."

A mixed look of sorrow and defiance crosses Dr Cid's face.

"Neither of us want that."

He sighs.

"If you will give me a minute of your time, I will show you a way we can end this conflict and make sure it will never happen again."

Genesis chuckled.

"Typical soldier of cosmos." he said, Zack sighed.

"What happened to you Genesis, what ever happened to honor?" he asked, Genesis sighed.

"when I found out about my degredation... honor didn't matter to me no more." he said. zack stepped forward.

"What about now?" he asked, genesis sighed.

"Now I just want you gone." he said.

Genesis immediatley formed his broadsword and slashed towards Zack, who ducked and summoned the busterblade, he clashed with Genesis and then jumped back.

"What about Angeal and sephiroth?" he asked. Genesis chuckled.

"You've seen it yourself, when your a monster, Honor means nothing." he said, Zack's eyes widened.

"We'll see!" he yelled, slashing towards Genesis, who blocked.

He was certainly persistant, she had to give him that. If she denied him, that would probably only lead to fighting. Lightning began to weigh her options.

 

She could go with him. Whatever he was planning, he seemed completely confident in his schemes. Odds are his intentions were for Ultima. Not to mention him former relations with Barthandelus...

 

Then again, she could confront the man, maybe even defeat him here. But what would she do after that? Find Ultima? Strike her allies down? Were they even her allies anymore? Which one would be best for Serah?

 

Lightning stood there in thought for another minute. "Tell me. Now." She answered.

{Dr Cid}

Dr Cid smiles.

"Simple, my dear. This war began because creatures believing themselves our superior wanted ultimate power."

Dr Cid slashes his hand through the air in disgust.

"They fight all through the worlds in their squabble. I say we take our fates back."

An evil grin spread over Dr Cid's face.

"With Ultima, I can design a weapon that can kill both Cosmos and Chaos. Returning the reigns of history to were they belong."

Dr Cid brings up both hands as if grasping something.

"In OUR hands!"

Zack and Genesis clashed, Genesis jumped back and shot fire magic at Zack, he jumped on one one the rails and slid up, Genesis did the same and followed, they got onto the top of the rock and clashed.

"C'mon, impress me!" genesis said, Zack slasehd and then got a slash, Genesis then shook it off and kicked at him hard, Zack slammed through a rock, shattering it, he landed on the wall and climbed upwards, Genesis then shot fireballs towards Zack, who quickly avoided, but then got hit. Zack breathed and then slashed the others away, and then slashed through Genesis, he landed on the rock, Genesis immediately shot ice magic towards him.

"I figured it was something like that." Lightning raised the blade, her eyes sharper than any weapon. "You plan on destroying the balance? Did you even think about the reprecussions?" The crashing waves almost seemed to counteract her words. "You could tear the worlds to pieces doing this. I'm sorry, but if you try to see this through, I will stop you."

 

Sure his intentions were pure, but the risks he was taking were inexcusable. Serah wouldn't do it, she knew that for sure.

 

"I'll find my own way to end this conflict, if you don't mind." Lightning lowered her weapon, turning her back to Doctor Cid. "One that won't kill us all."

{Dr Cid}

Dr Cid shakes his head.

"It will not just end. My research indicates that this is not Cosmos and Chaos's first war. It happened before this and it can happen again."

He stops a moment as if listening to something. He then looks at Lightning, a look of understanding on his face.

"Your are correct in saying that our plan is risky. While we search, Chaos and Cosmos can continue to ravage the worlds."

He scratches his chin thoughtfully.

"We need to end this conflict before more is lost. Then we can worry about a permanent solution to these 'gods' when this is over."

Dr Cid claps his hands together.

"So tell, Lightning. How do you plan to end this war?"

Zack avoided and then slashed towards Genesis, they clashed for a moment.

"Give up, soldier." Genesis said, Zack said nothing, Genesis slashed zack, who immediatleyfell back.

(The final part of one winged angel plays)

"you've lost, admit it!" Genesis yelled flying towards Zack, All that happened during this war and his times with the others played in his head.

'...No... I won't let it.' he thought to himself. he looked towards Genesis.

"I will protect my honor... as soldier!" he yelled, Genesis smirked. Zack hit the wall and then immediately used the strength in his legs to proppel himself back at Genesis. he prepared his sword. Genesis then slashed towards, Zack who dove in and immediately slashed through GEnesis. HE breathed heavily. Zack then hit the wall and immediately propelled himself towards Genesis and did it again. he did it 6 times and then slashed down colapsing the floor. Genesis fell through and Zack then slashed downwards, causing Genesis to go even faster down. he slammed to the floor hard. Zack then landed. he slammed his blade into the ground. Genesis had feathers scattered around him. his sword fell into the pit of mako energy.

"It's over." he said, Genesis breathed. His wing retracted.

"I know this isn't the first war." Lightning snapped. "I've been here before, done all of this. I lost comrades... friends." Her expression became fierce. "I won't lose anyone else, and I won't risk them either." She turned around, her gaze piercing the Archadian. "That's why we're doing this my way."

 

Cid would be a problem if she didn't join him. Once they found Ultima, she could use it to stop him form building this "weapon". All she needed was time.

 

"First we need Ultima. Barthandelus was able to use it, and you two seemed rather chummy. What do you know about it?"

Genesis breathed.

"no..." he said, he stepped back. his body was battered with cuts.

"Genesis...let it go." he said, the man shook his head. Genesis held his arm, he looked back and breathed, slowly going backwards, and then looked down at the pit. he slowly fell off into the mako stream. Zack tried to stop him, but it was too late, Genesis was gone, Zack sighed.

"genesis..." Zack slowly looked up, suddenly sparks of energy formed infront of him, a blue materia like sphere formed infront of him. Cosmos' words echoed.

"You all must collect a power orb, they are from people you have encountered in the past time here. you all need to collect these orbs and absorb them to gain strength"

Zack looked at the sphere, and slowly grabbed it, it felt light, it then dissipeared, Zack felt stronger.

"Wow." he said. he walked over to his sword and raised it out of the ground, he made it dissipear.

Johnny managed to regain his ability to speak and told Balthier, "I can't move. I'm stuck. You'll have to go on without me. It's safer that way." When Balthier attempted to talk him out of it, he replied, "I almost took of your head with a sword I was controlling with my mind. I'll be fine. Once I can move, I'll be off following you."

Vicente paced in front of the teleport stone at Onrac. He could sense that Genesis had been defeated, and the newest pawn was with Dr. Cid. Gabranth was nowhere to be seen. How on earth could he get Ultima before anyone else? His plan to take out the Warriors of Light hadn't worked, so he couldn't fool with Johnny's mind to get him to find Ultima. And there was no way he was going into the Cave of the Dragon King. He was running out of plans and options.

Zack looked up and saw the entrance to the cave, he jumped onto one of the rails and grinded up, he then aproached the cave way, and slowly walked out.

'I guess I'm the first to find the orb.' he thought to himself, what he would do with it... is the next question. he walked to the opening, and then looked to the back of the cave. he sighed.

"the gift of the godess..." Zack mumbled, wondering. he slowly left the cave and walked out to find the others.

-meanwhile-

Genesis slowly woke up, in a dark place.

"Where am I?" he asked.

{Balthier}

Balthier doesn't like Johnny's request, but figures there wasn't much he could do about it.

"Alright." Balthier concedes. "Follow when you are ready."

With that, Balthier ran after Zack.

After a minute or so of running, Balthier reaches the planets core. He stops when he doesn't hear sounds of combat. He sees Zack standing at the entrance alone.

"Fight go well?" Balthier asks.

{Dr Cid}

 

Dr Cid tsks.

"Barthandelus was an obstacle to be removed before he got in the way. I was happy to hear you and Ffamran killed that creature."

Dr Cid then pulls a note book from his satchel and opens it.

"As for where Ultima is, I have done a great deal of research into its location and though it is still unknown to me, I have several good leads."

Zack nodded.

"Yeah... and." he said, he held his left hand out, the sphere of energy appeared. it was blue and fluctuating.

"When I fought Genesis, I got this." he said.

-meanwhile-

Genesis sighed, he couldn't sense anyone... except for something dark.

{Balthier}

Balthier studies the sphere intently for several seconds.

"An interesting reward." Balthier says, containing his sky pirate tendencies. "Any idea what it does?"

Zack sighed.

"I think it was the sphere Cosmos talked about us each getting, if we get it, then we'll be stronger, I guess." Zack said, he put the orb away.

"I guess that means I'm right along the way towards the end of the conflict." Zack said. He then looked to Balthier.

"So is there anyone here you know?" he asked.

{Balthier}

Balthier shakes his head.

"No." He answers Zack. "Johnny is still back where you left us."

Balthier looks back the way he had come.

"Best rejoin our friend. Hopefully he's feeling better."
