Story:

 

Chaos has obtained a strong power and has threatened to destroy the universe if he has the ultimate power, The warriors have teamed up once again to help Cosmos to destroy this evil, Most worlds have been destroyed or ruined by Chaos' power. The Warriors of Cosmos need to stop Chaos from obtaining the ultimate power, the power that holds the whole universe together, they call it the Ultima it has the power to create and destroy a whole universe, it controls time and space. The warriors of Chaos have to stop Cosmos' Warriors obtaining the Ultima so they can hand it over to Chaos so he can absorb the power and use it to take over the universe or destroy it.

 

Rules:

 

1: No taking control of other peoples Characters without permission.

 

2: You can use your own character or a Final Fantasy Character.

 

3: You can choose which side you want to be on Chaos or Cosmos.

 

4: You can't kill other people's characters without permission.

 

5: Don't use bad language, things like Crap or Damn are allowed but no words that are too bad.

 

6: You can be Kingdom Hearts Characters.

Johnny saw the manikins as well and dashed behind a nearby bush to scope out the scene.

'Why are they all gathered? What's going on?' he thought to himself.

He looked over to Zack, who was also surveying the area, "How do you place our odds?"

Vicente looked over the ruins of the Orphan's Cradle. Something had collapsed it, so the nethicite wasn't going to be easy to find. He moved rock after rock trying to find it, eventually settling for a small crystal shard.

'Hopefully this is enough,' he thought as he left to try the crystal out.

Gabranth overheard the other warriors at the Sky Fortress. They were talking about orbs of some kind. And a way of escaping the conflict of the gods.

"There is no escaping the conflict," he shook his head in disapproval. "I am living proof of that."

As he prepared to leave, he then thought of Doctor Cid. They were from the same world, Gabranth knew all that Cid had done. Perhaps Cid had truely found the way out. But Gabranth knew that he would have no chance to talk to Cid with the other two around. But he would have to take his chances. He began to walk towards the group.

Genesis chuckled.

"they're poems from my homeworld, it's the story of three men whom searched for the Gift of the Goddess." Genesis said, Cid nodded, intrested.

 

"Infinite in mystery is the gift of the Goddess

We seek it thus, and take to the sky

Ripples form on the water's surface

The wandering soul knows no rest" Genesis said, he then looked at Cid.

"loveless, act 1." he said. he then looked to Gabranth

-meanwhile-

Zack sighed.

"dunno." he said, he sighed.

"We gotta find out who set them to this first." he then said.

"More uninvited guests." Lightning clenched the orb tightly. She raised her sword with her other hand, lowering it immediately. This man came in unarmed. Another warrior of Chaos? Did he know something about Ultima as well?

 

"Another pawn of Chaos? What do you want?" She hadn't forgotten about Genesis and his "Chaos" orb. He simply seemed to be less of a threat at the moment.

 

The thought of allying with these people made her sick.

Johnny pulled out his scopes and looked into the crowd. He couldn't make out out the figure at first, but he put the scope in focus and saw...

Vicente had summoned a manikin of Ultimecia to test the shard's power. As she bombarded him with spells, the shard absorbed the power. After destroying the manikin, he tried to get the power out, but to no avail.

He kneeled and tried to communicate with his master, "How do I get the power out of the shard?"

The figure appeared, "That I do not know. Perhaps you need to fuse it with a stronger crystal."

Vicente looked up and smiled, "The Cavern of Earth."

Gabranth replied as cold as Lightning had asked, "You wish to find a way out of the conflict. I've wished the same ever since the first conflict." He looked at Cid, "Good to see you once again, Doctor."

{Dr Cid}

Dr Cid has a look of surprise when he sees Gabranth.

"An unexpected pleasure, Judge Gabranth." Dr Cid says politely. "I did not know you had found your way into this war."

A smile plays across Cid's face.

"So, you want to end not only the war, but the cycle itself."

Dr Cid's smile grew bigger.

"I can help with that."

Hope had been talking to Joe when he felt a surge of energy. He shouted in pain, and his l'cie mark began to glow. A green aura emitted from him, wrapping itself around him and Joe. In a burst of air, the two boys vanished.

Serah dreamed a strange dream. In it, Lightning in some armor was conversing with a man. They discussed an orb of power. It was somehow connected to Lightning's home world. Unseen by those in the dream, the orb released some power into Lightning and three bursts into the air. One, right at Serah.

 

Serah snapped awake. She felt a surge of power. She was about to release it in a burst of energy, when something else caught her attention.

Hope and Joe landed with a thud. They were amidst a sea of Manakins. Hope realized that so many Manakins could only mean one thing; an attack.

 

Energy coursed through Hope's body. Hope looked down to his hand. It was glowing green, and he noticed a slight shine of light suddenly appear (OOC: glare from Johnny's scope).

 

"I can use this, I can fight!" Hope shouted. With that, he sent a powerful Last Resort up into the air. It came crashing down in waves, destroying many Manakins.

 

The leader of the Manakins glanced at him, but was out of Hope's field of vision.

 

OOC: Remember, Hope looks older than when anybody else has seen him. Even Serah and Lightning may have a hard time recognizing him. He's 19 now, not 14.

joe looks at hope as he draws his sword "hey hope i got the leader" hope nodes joe then runs at the manakin a blue aura surrounds his sword "fire strike" a wave of fire then appears infront of joe pushing forword with him then cutting throw the manakin joe then slices throw the manakin slitting it in two to finish the job oe then looks to hope "man this place isnt that tough after all"

Just then, three Manakins leaped on top of Joe, knocking him to the ground. Nue soared over his head hitting the three off of him.

 

"FIRA! BLIZZARA! THUNDARA!" Hope shouted, and shot a triad spells at the Manakins. They shattered.

 

Hope extended his hand to Joe. "Maybe not, but sheer numbers would beg to differ."

 

Hope Paradigm Shifted to Synergist and cast Bravery, Faith, and Haste on him and Joe, then back into Ravager. They stared out into the crowd.

 

"Here goes nothing," he said, as he charged forward.

joe looks at all the manakins then cracks his knuckles "man been a while since i had a fight like this last time was probly that time cocoon was supossidle invaded by pulse" joe laughed he then ran at the manakins cutting as many as he could down using both magic and phsyical attacks

{Balthier}

Balthier watches the army of manikins. He starts to see a disturbance among the the crowd. He pulls put a pair of binoculars and aims toward the disturbance. He sees to men fighting the hoard.

Balthier sighs.

"We've got company." He says to his friends. "Looks like some of our own are down in there."

Balthier returns his binoculars to his pocket and picks his gun back up.

"Only one think to do." He says claimly.

He moves a little ahead of his companions and starts picking off manikins.

Zack set Serah down,s eh seemed awake now, he then looked at the Manikins.

"We'll have to fight them." he said. Johnny sighed then nodded, Zack looked to Balthier.

"I'll head down there, watchj my back." he said, Balthier nodded, Zack jumped down and his the gravel, he immediatley slashed through a couple then avoided the slash of a lightning Manikin.

-meanwhile-

Genesis watched Gabranth.

'So he was in the first conflicts...' he thought in his mind. he wanted to hear what this guy had to say.

{Balthier}

Balthier keeps picking off manikins as Zack cuts a path through the army. Balthier glances back to Serah.

"Ah, glad to see you up and about." He greets Serah.

He turns back to his shooting.

"If I remember correctly, you use a bow."

He head shots a Cloud manikin bearing down on Zack.

"Care to give a hand?"

Zack slashed through more Manikins, then sighed, catching his breath, he looekd forward and saw Johnny goign through them,a s well as others.

'Sweet.' he thought in his mind. he slashed through another and looked out, he saw the warrior of chaos leading them.

"Damn." he said.

-meanwhile-

Genesis sighed.

"Hm, not in the mood for talking?" he asked.

{Balthier}

Balthier continues firing. He is proud of the kill count he has so far. He catches sight at the warrior of Chaos ahead of Zack and Johnny.

"Zack!" he shouts to the SOLDIER. "Concentrate on the warrior. We'll keep the manikins off you!"

He starts shooting the manikins around the warrior.

"Concentrate your fire!" He calls back to who ever is providing cover fire with him.

{Dr Cid}

Dr Cid shakes his head.

"Give Gabranth a moment." Dr Cid chides Genesis. "He is much more a man of action than words."

"I'll give him more than a moment." Lightning held the orb in her hand, turning to the doctor. "I'm gonna find the other, pieces, with or wi-" She stopped. Something didn't feel right. She rushed out of the library to the outer deck, looking over the railing. She couldn't tell where the Bahamut was flying over, but there was definitely something going on. But that wasn't it. The feeling was from who was there. Serah and... Hope?

 

She looked back to thewarriors of Chaos, and then over the rail. As if there was even a choice...

 

Claire Farron leapt over the rail, plummeting through the clouds. she could see the ground bloew coming up fast, an ocean of crystals surrounding tiny black specks. She hadn't seen the Manakins from up there. But that made her all the more commited. Almost there...

 

Lightning snapped her fingers, activating the Gravity Bomb. Her fall was cushioned inches from the ground, falling as the devie gave out. She had forgotten it was damaged. Her armor clanked as she pulled herself up, summoning the weapons. A Fallacious Tree towered over her, Lightning slashing through its midsection. The crystal shattered, the l'Cie carving a path through the battle.

 

"Serah! Hope!"

Genesis looked out.

"she certainly is... hot headed." he said. Cid nodded. Genesis decided to observe.

"I'll watch the fight down there, you two catch up on old times." he said, his wing cme out, he jumped out.

-meaanwhile-

Zack slashed through another one and then saw the man leading the Manikins. Exdeath. Zack lunged towards him. the warrior blocked.

"Ah, one of cosmos' dogs have come." he said, Zack smirked and slashed, Exdeath then clashed harder, then stepped back and shot magic towards him, Zack blocked.

Johnny was out in the battle, defeating manikin after manikin. Jaina was also out, abeit just shooting on the sidelines. These manikins were nothing but they kept coming. Johnny looked up after defeating a False Stalwart to see Exdeath and Zack clashing. He knew he had to help, but he also saw Genesis and... was that Lightning? She looked different. It had to be the armor. But first, Johnny had to deal with Genesis and Exdeath before he could be reunited with comrades.

Gabranth walked over to the ledge that the girl had just jumped off and looked.

"Hmph. So that was what that fool was doing," Gabranth commented, unimpressed by Exdeath's attack. "He thought to best them with an army." He looked over to Cid, "So what is your plan to escape this conflict?"

Vicente knew where one crystal was, deep within the Cavern of Earth. As he approached the final chamber, something was off. There was no crystal, just a way stone, one you would see while searching for treasure in Ivalice. He went up to the stone and was warped to the top of the Pharos at Ridorana. He looked and, behold, the Sun-Cryst, still intact in this world. If only he had some way to cut the stone. He looked around and saw the Treaty-Blade. He took it and cut a crystal resembling the one he had seen Johnny carry around. He now held the power to sap magic and to redirect it through him. Now to find Johnny. He walked through a dark portal to wherever the highest manikin concentration was. If Johnny was anywhere, he was fighting manikins. Hopefully Exdeath had found Johnny first.

Genesis kept watching Zack.

'He seems different... stronger.' he thought to himself, Exdeath stabbed towards Zack, who avoided, ans then kicked at him, Exdeath fell back, Zack jumped towards him and slashed, Exdeath immediately teleported to the air, and started firingt magic towards him, Zack blocked the attacks and threw his sword towards Exdeath, getting a hit, he then resummoned it and clashed again. Exdeath breathed.

"Soon... you and your 'goddess' will be all but destroyed." he said. Zack slashed harder.

{Balthier}

Balthier moves closer to the battle to get better shots. The number of manikins seems to be going down. Just not as much as Balthier likes. He starts picking off the ones closest to Zack. Balthier stops a moment when he sees Lightning land.

Balthier smiles.

"Knew she'd be back." Balthier says with a chuckle.

He looks higher to see the Sky Fortress Bahamut over head.

"Lovely." Balthier grumbles.

He turns and fires a few bullets at Exdeath before returning to his covering job.

{Dr Cid}

Dr Cid doesn't like this situation. Not one bit.

"Venat." He says, annoyance in his voice. "Keep an eye on our 'friends.'"

Venat simply vanishes.

Dr Cid looks over at Gabranth.

"My plan?" Dr Cid questions. "My plan is to kill the two responsible for this, ending these wars forever."

No good. She couldn't find Serah or Hope anywhere. Lightning snarled. "Get out of my way!" She swung the blade, smashing the manakin to pieces. If only all of these damn manakins weren't in the way. She could summon Odin...

 

But that took too much power. If they overran her, she'd be defenseless. But maybe overrunning was a good thing. She looked to the shield strapped to her arm, Paradigm Shifting to Sentinel. She lifted it above her head, a bright light flashing. "Valhalla's Call!" Her voice echoed across the battlefield, manakins turning their attention away from their own conflict. They charged for the l'Cie, whose Steelguard was the only thing between her and an army.

 

'You'd better hurry...'

{Balthier}

Balthier mutters curses as he sees the new focus of the manikins.

"Sorry, Zack." He says at he switches his aim to the manikins charging Lightning.

"Not good enough." He says.

He gets up and starts running after the manikins.

Venat moves down to keep an eye on Genesis and Lightning. Genesis was doing nothing dangerous. Lightning of the other hand...

The Occurian starts blasting at the manikins in an attempt to keep Lightning and her orb safe.

Zack slashed towards Exdeath again, h fell bak breathing.

"no... I won't let it end like this." he said, Zack salashed again, getting a hit on Exdeath's side. he fell back to the ground, Genesis slowly got to the ground, and then closer. Exdeath breathed, he pulled out a green orb. (another piece)

"The ultima... can only be created if all the sphere's are brought together... in order to make sure that never happens... I will... DESTROY it." Exdeath said about to smash it towards the ground. Genesis stared at him.

'That fool' he thought to himself, he immediately got behind Exdeath and stabbed, the sorceror breathed. he looked down and saw the red blade that stabbed through him. Zack stared at him shocked.

"Genesis... but we're ont eh same side..." he said, Genesis scowled.

"Wrong, I seek to end the conflict, and the only way is with ULTIMA, you were a tool, misguided... and a wild card... no more." he said, Exdeath breathed, starting to fade, Genesis kicked him off the blade then snatched the orb. it shone brightly. Zack staired at him.

"You would just kill one of your own? where's the honor in that, genesis?" he called out yelling.

"Honor means nothing." he said, he his wing came out, he flew upwards. returning to Cid.

Zack staired up, notbelieving this. he then looked to Lightning, then hurried to attack the Manikins, they could talk about it later.

(basically he kills Exdeath because Exdeath was going to try and destroy one of the pieces.)

Gabranth shook his head at Cid, "That was my first idea. It did not work. Cosmos must be isolated from any warriors before we could even think of attacking there."

Johnny tried to fight through the crowd to Lightning, just to tell her that her sister was in safe hands. These manikins just wouldn't go away. He ran up to Exdeath and bashed him in the head. He then leaped into the air, and landed next to Lightning.

"Your sister is fine. She's in the best hands," Johnny said while fighting off several other manikins.

Vicente joined the struggle and jumped in right in front of Johnny.

"Hello, friend," he taunted Johnny.

{Balthier}

Balthier gets closer to the crowd of manikins converging on Lightning. He puts his gun away and preforms a Quickening and blasts at the manikins, clearing a fair portion of them. Balthier takes a deep breath.

"That was draining." He thinks to himself.

He grabs his gun and blasts at the remaining manikins between him and Lightning and Johnny. Balthier sees Vicente.

"Of course." He says aloud as he takes aim at the warrior of Chaos.

{Dr Cid}

Dr Cid smiles mirthlessly.

"Agreed. And not with out the proper tools."

He points to the orb in Genesis's hand.

"Ultima."

Zack slashed through more of the manikins and breathed, he kicked at one, and then sliced through another, they were doing well, he saw Vicente.

'that snake...' he thought to himself.

-meanwhile-

Genesis landed and hti the ground.

"Exdeath was planning to destroy it." he said, tossing it to Cid, who smiled meticulously.

"Something on your mind? doc?" he asked.
