Story:

 

Chaos has obtained a strong power and has threatened to destroy the universe if he has the ultimate power, The warriors have teamed up once again to help Cosmos to destroy this evil, Most worlds have been destroyed or ruined by Chaos' power. The Warriors of Cosmos need to stop Chaos from obtaining the ultimate power, the power that holds the whole universe together, they call it the Ultima it has the power to create and destroy a whole universe, it controls time and space. The warriors of Chaos have to stop Cosmos' Warriors obtaining the Ultima so they can hand it over to Chaos so he can absorb the power and use it to take over the universe or destroy it.

 

Rules:

 

1: No taking control of other peoples Characters without permission.

 

2: You can use your own character or a Final Fantasy Character.

 

3: You can choose which side you want to be on Chaos or Cosmos.

 

4: You can't kill other people's characters without permission.

 

5: Don't use bad language, things like Crap or Damn are allowed but no words that are too bad.

 

6: You can be Kingdom Hearts Characters.

Genesis still had the Chaos orb, as far she knew. But she had the Orphan orb. That should even the odds...

 

Lightning threw herself at Genesis, magic spraying from both of their blades as they clashed. The two were forced back from the others, the sound of screaming steel piercing the air. Lightning ducked as Genesis swung his sword, the spire behind her cleaved in two. The l'Cie swung up, hitting air as the man simply stepped to the side. "You can't defend Cosmos. Your blade knows only treason."

 

"I don't fight for sides, Genesis. I fight for my friends, something you could never understand!" Memories of Sephiroth and Angeal assualted him, shouting as he released a barrage of fire spells. Lightning swung her blade, deflecting a few before raising her shield. She was forced back, falling to one knee. Even with Orphan's Ultima, he was still stronger...

"Don't you dare." he spat, he slashed towards her sword, overpowering and then kicked her down. she coughed, looking up, he slashed down with his rapier/broadsword, sparks were flying. Cosmos staried at them.

"stop!" she yelled, Genesis paid no attentiona nd kept slashing. she got back up, tried to slice towards him, he ducked and instead kicked her stomach, she flew back, wheezing from the pressure. he walked towards her and took the orb.

"Thank you for your cooperation." he said, the orb dissipeared, he held his sword overhead, about to slash down.

-meanwhile-

Zack looked into the barrier, then sighed.

'Balthier' he thought in his mind, he looked to Gabranth.

"You gonna fight me?" he asked, holding his sword towards him.

Vicente had forseen the use of such weaponry against his stone. As Balthier fired the bullet, Vicente released a magnet spell, stopping the bullet mid-air. Vicente then turned the bullet back towards the gun and stopped the spell.

"Didn't you think I'd be prepared for that?" Vicente laughed as he escaped Venat's grasp. "I'd control you too, but I have no use for you at the moment."

Gabranth moved the Buster Sword away from himself and told the SOLDIER, "I was summoned by Chaos, but my heart lies not with him. I'll take any path that leads away from this conflict." He then looked over at Vicente, who had managed to escape Venat via the stone.

"Presently, I must deal with other matters," Gabranth said and then ran toward Vicente, ready to strike.

Johnny rushed Vicente as Gabranth made his move. It was desperate, but anything they could do to delay Cosmos' capture would be for the best. However, Vicente wouldn't allow that. He unleashed another Magnet spell, halting Gabranth and restricting Johnny. Vicente then unleashed another Stop spell on Johnny, "Pitiful fool. Even the Keyblade will not save you."

Balthier swears as he as he throws his gun away.

"Balthiter!" Venat shouts.

Balthier turns in time to see and catch a piece of nethicite that Venat had thrown to him.

"I will empower it."

Balthier nods.

He uses a mote of Auto-Haste to contract Vincente's Stop spell. Balthier runs straight at Vincente and jumps. He punches Vincente hard in the face with the hand that holds the nethicite. With Venat empowering the nethicte, Balthier hits with the force of a dragon.

Genesis brought his blade down, Lightning throwing her shield into the air. The weapons clashed, the man stumbling back. She made her move, tackling him to the ground. A rather desperate tactic, but it was all she had. "Now, if you'll excuse me..." Her l'Cie brand burned red through her armor, her arm radiating with dark power. "I'll be taking this back!"

 

Lightning drove her hand into Genesis' chest, flying back as she pulled the red orb out of him. It wasn't the one she was trying for, but it should work just the same. The two warriors pulled themselves up, an orb in each of their hands. Fire burned off of her armor as the orb shone brightly, its chaotic power resonating. She took her heavy blade in her other hand, the shield nowhere to be found. "I'm ending this now, Genesis!"

 

She swung the sword, a wall of flame storming across the waves beneath them.

"Enough." Dr Cid thinks. "Get the stones and leave."

He pulls out his guns and starts firing at Lightning.

Vicente kicked Balthier off of him and then raised the stone once more, "This is ridiculous. Come to me! DIABOLOS!" Out of the stone came a demon of red and black. The demon turned his attention to the warriors in the area and bombarded the area with Gravity spells. Johnny managed to dodge away from one of them, but got caught in another.

Johnny fell to the ground with the Gravity spell. It felt like a thousand weights just appeared on his body, imprisoning him on the ground. Luckily, the Bahamut charm had fallen near his hand. He reached for the charm and called Bahamut into the fray. The mighty dragon appeared in front of Johnny and defended him from spells until Johnny was no longer weighed down.

Johnny raised the charm towards Diabolos and commanded the dragon, "Bahamut, defeat this demon and free him from the stone!" Bahamut then flew up to Diabolos and the two fought. Johnny once more rushed Vicente and shouted to Cosmos, "Duck!"

Johnny tackled Vicente and the two were sent over Cosmos' head.

Genesis smirked.

"so you'll try." he said, the orb pulsated with cold power. Lightning shot a wall of flames towards him, genesis dashed to the side and slashed toowards her, hiitting her sword, she yelled loudly, he jumped tot he side as she slammed. he then kicked her, she fell back.

"you need to train more, I've been doing this for a long time." he said, she scowled then slashed at him, cid's firing made it difficult for her.

'i need mor espeed.' he thought to himself, he looekd to cid.

"doc, pass me the other one." he said. Cid sihed and tossed him the green orb, Genesis caught it, it went into his skin, he pulsated with electricity. he dashed towards lightning. she blocked with her sword, he immediatelty clashed thne kicked at her, he then slashed at her again knocking her to the ground.

"Two heads are better then one, I suppose." he said, he immediately took the orb back. she scowled. she lunged towards him, the power from the three orbs resonated, he blocked immediately, she fell back. he then looekd to Cosmos, he used power fromt he three orbs. creating a barrier.

"Now, goddess, where's the piece?" he asked.

Balthier lands hard, but he still held on to the nethicite. The nethicite absorbs the Gravity spell, leaving Balthier unaffected. He pulls out his gun again and fires at Genesis.

"Hey!" He yells at the former SOLDIER. "Why don't you stop picking fights with ladies!"

 

Dr Cid shakes his head and keeps up firing at Lightning to keep her pinned.

Lightning swung the blade as she pulled herself up, trying to deflect the bullets. She stumbled forward, the weight of her weapon, as well as her injuries, throwing off her footing. The blade dragged through the water as she gained momentum, swinging upward. The doctor stumbled back as he dodged, centering his pistols as he stepped to the side.

 

One, no two, shots later the l'Cie was down. Lightning barely pulled herself up, the shots in her back stinging. She couldn't give up now. She still had to save Cosmos. And Serah...

 

"Cid. You can't destroy Cosmos. If you do-" She stumbled foward, driving her sword into the ground for balance. "Everything will be destroyed. I know that isn't what you want..."

"True." Dr Cid states. "But I also want control over my own destiny. Not have in controlled by some 'god.'"

He shakes his head.

"I would be willing to spare Cosmos for now if she gives me her piece."

Vicente and Johnny rolled through the water beating each other senseless. Their summons were also doing the same. Vicente pulled out a desperate move: he jumped away from Johnny and summoned Diabolos closer to him. Johnny got up and wiped some blood away from his mouth. Bahamut flew behind him. Johnny charged a fireball in his hands as Bahamut began to spew fire from his mouth. Diabolos readied a massive spell and Vicente's eyes began to glow dark. Johnny and Bahamut fired their signature Megaflare, but Vicente did something different. As Diabolos dropped his spell, Vicente raged against the Megaflare with Dark Laserbeam, a move he gained from steeping into Chaos. As Megaflare raged towards Vicente, he readied the stone. When it was a foot away from him, Vicente raised the stone up to his eyes. It absorbed the darkness from his eyes and stole the power of Megaflare. Johnny and Bahamut were weakened, and Vicente took advantage of this and stole a fraction of Bahamut into the stone. Bahamut was dismissed and Johnny was powerless.

Johnny was ready to die. The power Vicente stole was too much. There was only one way that Johnny could regain his energies. He summoned two Keyblades and raised them above his head. He once more summoned the x-Blade. However, now he could control it. He aimed the sword at Vicente and unleashed a massive blast of energy.

the shots hit the barrier, deflecting off, Genesis sm,irked, then looked at Cosmos.

"So, about that piece you posess." he said, she stepped back.

"No, forget it." she said. he held his sword.

"you should really reconsider." he said, she chuckled.

"After all i did for you." she said, Genesis heald his head.

"Wha... what?" he asked, he stepped back. She lookedf to him.

"Your starting to remember... you weren't an original warrior of Chaos." she said. he held his head. That meant...

-the cycle before-

Genesis sighed, then looked to Zack.

"We're getting close, soon Chaos will go down." he said, Zack nodded.

"you got that right." he said. they returned to the campground, nobody was there.

"hello?" Zack called out, no answer. he then felt something, then suddenly a blade wnet straight through Zack.

"Agh..." he yelled, dissipearing.

"Zack!" Genesis yelled. he looked to see it was Sephiroth, who stabbed the blade.

"Genesis, long time no see." he said, Genesis spat.

"Sephiroth..." he said, the man smirked.

"don't worry, by the time of the next cycle... he'll be back, as with all of them." he said. Genesis sighed.

"What do yuo want? Soldier of Chaos?" he asked. Sephiroth chuckled.

"Aw, come on, we use to be best friends, you... me, and Angeal." eh said, Genesis' eyes widened.

"I... remember." he said, Sephiroth nodde.d

"Yes, now join me, you don't have a chance, and we have some catching up to do." he said, he steppe daway, slowly walking away. Genesis' sword fell tot he ground, he sighed.

"alright... I'm coming." he said. thus Genesis became a soldier of Chaos...

-present cycle-

"Now do you understand? Genesis?" Cosmos asked, Genesis breathed then looekd at Cosmos.

"You... kenw all this time?" he aske,d she nodded.

"i know all about my warriors, you still are one." she said. Genesis shook his head.

"No..." he said, she put her hand on hsis houlder, he walked forward coldly.

"No.... I'm not." he said, he immediatley stabbed his blade into Cosmos. she breathed. shakign imensly, she fell to the ground, he took his blade out, he looekd to himself.

'What have I done....' he thought to himself, her orb, a white one appeared, he took it, the barrior colapsed.

Both Dr Cid and Balthier froze.

Balthier rushes over to Cosmos's body. He tries to use Cure on her, but fails.

Dr Cid runs over and grabs Genesis.

"Let us be of." He says, nodding to Venat.

Venat teleports itself, Cid and Genesis away from the battlefield to the Sky Fortress Bahamut.

Vicente dodged away from the massive blast that was now about to erase Diabolos permanently. Vicente raised the stone toward him and Diabolos vanished. He then looked over to the now-collapsed Cosmos, "NO! Not yet, you don't!" He raised the stone to her, and the stone slowly took the goddess away, "Heal in there. You shall serve me well." He then looked at the cowards who had done this, and they vanished away.

Johnny looked at Cid and Genesis. They had come here to kill the goddess for a lousy stone. He began to fall into rage, but then his eyes fell on Jaina and Serah. The two had told him to not submit to emotions. He calmed himself, but he was not about to let these cowards get away with this. His wings appeared once more and he took off into the skies.

He thought to himself, 'Where would Doctor Cid hide?' His mind then caught a certain location. The Sky Fortress Bahamut.

Gabranth took off his helmet in respect for the fallen goddess. He may have tried to kill several times before, but he was never without respect for the dead.

Genesis was shocked about what he did, he sat down on a desk, Cid was in thought.

"I use to be... her slave." he said, sighing, memories from the cycle before were coming back to him. he sighed then removed the orbs, they possessed four now. As well as one from both of the gods. he setted them down on the desk, Cid picked one up.

 

"There is no hate, only joy

 

For you are beloved by the goddess

 

Hero of the dawn, Healer of worlds

 

Dreams of the morrow hath the shattered soul

 

Pride is lost

 

Wings stripped away, the end is nigh." Genesis said, reciting loveless.

 

-meanwhile-

Zack sighed.

"Damn..." he said, he then looked at Vicente.

"give her back!" he yelled.

(how does johnny know all this?)

Lightning stumbled through the water, watching as Vicente vanished. She had failed. She had failed Cosmos, and she had failed Serah. Serah...

 

Claire picked up speed, falling to the ground as she reached Serah. At least her sister was still safe. Snow's crystal tear slid across the ground to Serah as the older Farron lost consciousness.

{Balthier}

 

Balthier yells as he tackles Vincente, hitting him over and over again. An idea forces it's way through Balthier's anger. He rams his piece of Nethicite into Vincente's stone and blasts it with his gun. The blast cracks Vincente's stone, causing Cosmos to return to the Sanctuary. The blast sends Balthier flying into a wall, seriously injured.

{Dr Cid}

Dr Cid ignores Genesis talking. This was excellent. More pieces. Only a few left. When Genesis stops talking, Cid takes note of his presence.

"Good work, Genesis." Cid says. "That was good course of action. With the power you now have, we could take on Chaos and end this forever."

Genesis sighed, and nodded.

"The only problem, is where is Chaos?" Genesis asked lookign at Cid. trying not to think about Cosmos. not to mention, they would have to deal with Vicente some time. and they still didn't have the completed Ultima.

-meanwhile-

Zack looked at Cosmos, she looekd weak, he sighed, then walke dover to her, he had his orb out.

"I got it." he said, she slowly nodded.

"you did good." seh said, he then sighed.

"Where are the pieces to Ultima?" he asked, he figured he had one of them, since his orb, and Genesis' were identicle. She sifghed, then looked up.

"You each... as my warriors, possess a piece." she said. he sighed.

"When you defeated Genesis and proved yourself, yours came, you each have an orb... I thought of this, because last cycle Chaos almost completed ultima and I knew the only way was to hide the orbs in my warriors..." she said, Zack nodde,d he then sighed.

{Dr Cid}

Dr Cid nods.

"I must admit that I don't know where Chaos is." He admits. "The last one I know who saw him is you."

Dr Cid moves to stand in front of Genesis.

"Where did you last see him?"

Genesis sighed,

"I was at his throne, he challenged Vicente, and escaped, he gave me the orb for safekeepings, and went after Vicente, dissipearing, and I suppose he lost." Genesis said. he then looked to Cid.

"However, we will need to collect more of the Ultima, perhaps that will the show us where to find Chaos, because i doubt an incomplete power will be enough." he said, sighing.

-meanwhile-

Zack imemdiately hurried to Balthier, he looke bad. he slung him onto one of his shoulders and sat him by the throne.

"Anythign broken?" he asked.

Dr Cid nods as he listens to Genesis.

"More pieces would be helpful against Chaos." Cid agrees.

Cid's mind turns to thoughts of Vicente.

"You say that Chaos 'escaped' Vicente. What kind of power does that man have?"

{Balthier}

Balthier coughs.

"More than bone." He says, wincing.

Balthier slowly starts to fade.

"Looks like the leading man must exit."

He looks at Zack.

"Keep an eye on the others. Win."

Zack nods.

Balthier smiles and fades away completely. In his place a small crystal lays.

Zack sighed lookign down, Balthier was gone... he slowly scooped up the tear, and put it in his pocket.

"goodbye..." he said. he felt a tear slip, then remembered what Cosmos said... the tear from Balthier must of had somethign to do with it... he summoned his sword and stabbed it into the ground. he saw Cosmos, was still alive, albet very weak.

''Seems he didn't finish her off... or maybe she's dying.' he thought to himself. he looked to the others.

"cid and his lackeys will pay." he said.

-meanwhile-

Genesis sighed, and then looekd to Cid.

"He is a god, he's proabbly capable of alot of things." he said.

{Dr Cid}

Cid laughs.

"Those who are called 'gods' are meant to be toppled." He says, defiantly

Cid scratches his chin.

"In that case, we had best find more of the lose pieces than attack Chaos or Vicente."

Dr Cid opens his note book.

"Where to start our search anew." He wonders aloud.

"Any suggestions?" Cid asks Genesis as he pours through his notes.

 

(OOC: New warrior of Cosmos inbound...just not sure who yet.)

Genesis chuckled.

"Your the doctor, shouldn't that be more up to you?" he asked, Genesis sat back in his chair, sighing.

 

"My friend, do you fly away now?

To a world that abhors you and I?

All that awaits you is a somber morrow

Nothing shall forestall my return" Genesis recited he looke at the orbs, and picked up Chaos's orb and then Cosmos'.

"Hm..." he said. he slowly brought them closer, creating some sort of static friction.

"Like magnets..." he said. he then sighed and looked to Cid.

"Hey, how did you know that... Balthier kid?" he asked.
