Story:

 

Chaos has obtained a strong power and has threatened to destroy the universe if he has the ultimate power, The warriors have teamed up once again to help Cosmos to destroy this evil, Most worlds have been destroyed or ruined by Chaos' power. The Warriors of Cosmos need to stop Chaos from obtaining the ultimate power, the power that holds the whole universe together, they call it the Ultima it has the power to create and destroy a whole universe, it controls time and space. The warriors of Chaos have to stop Cosmos' Warriors obtaining the Ultima so they can hand it over to Chaos so he can absorb the power and use it to take over the universe or destroy it.

 

Rules:

 

1: No taking control of other peoples Characters without permission.

 

2: You can use your own character or a Final Fantasy Character.

 

3: You can choose which side you want to be on Chaos or Cosmos.

 

4: You can't kill other people's characters without permission.

 

5: Don't use bad language, things like Crap or Damn are allowed but no words that are too bad.

 

6: You can be Kingdom Hearts Characters.

Johnny chuckled at the girl's comment and then thought, 'How'd she get from Ultimecia's castle to Nibelheim? There's no way you could...' His mind immediately snapped back to an old technique he used before. He looked at the now crying Vanille, "They warped somewhere else. No doubt about it. I've seen it before. Banish Trap Displacement. If a banish trap can't send you anywhere close, it teleports you to a suitable, empty environment." Johnny then pulled out his phone device, "It's a good thing that I put tracking devices on the two."

Vicente walked over to Rinoa, who was looking down at a boy with white hair. Vicente leaned down and checked his vitals, "He's alive, but barely. He must've taken quite the beating before we found him." Vicente tried to wake the boy, "If you can hear me, open your eyes."

Vanille looked at Johnny.

 

"You're tracking them, great! Even better, they're safe!"

 

Vanille wiped away her tears.

 

"Come on then, let's find them!" she shouted before skipping off down the path ahead.

Hope opened his right eye slightly. He saw Vicente. Should he trust him? Wasn't he an offender of Cosmos? But the girl in front of him was his concern. And, he didn't know if anybody recognized him.

 

Hope pulled himself off the ground.

 

"The name's Noel, but who are you?"

 

In his mind, he was still thinking about Ultima. What happened to the one in the Castle?

{Cloud}

Cloud shifts a little at Zack's question. This was weird.

"I've been doing pretty good." Cloud answers.

He chuckles softly.

"I was better before this started."

{Dr Cid}

"Most excellent." Dr Cid says with a smile. "More pieces of the puzzle."

Dr Cid seems to just notice Genesis's weak condition.

"Are you alright, my friend?" Dr Cid asks.

Venat appears beside the two men.

"Allow me." Venat says.

Venat casts a few healing spells on Genesis.

"Alright." Zack said. it's been such a long time... including the fact he died.

"Well, good to see you.. Cloud." he said, Zack nodded, he then loked to the others.

"A tracking device?" he asked.

-meanwhile-

Genesis sighed, the magic made him feel better, but he also needed time.

"Thanks..." he said, he sighed.

"We are ahead, at the time atleast." he said.

Vanille had skipped ahead just a little. She could still see the others, when suddenly, a crystal monster appeared. It looked like Snow?

 

"Lightning!" Vanille shouted and reached for her rod. But she had handed it to Gilgamesh.

 

Lightning ran forward and slashed through the Manakin.

 

"They are Manakins, fake copies of us. Do not let them surround you!" Lightning said.

 

Another row of Manakins appeared.

 

"Here we go," said Vanille.

{Cloud}

Cloud dashes over to Lightning when he sees the manikins. He summons his fusion swords.

"Just when I thought things were claiming down." He says as he brings his sword up in a ready position.

A few more manikins pop up.

"Hey, Zack." Cloud calls to his friend. "Time to do our SOLDIER duty."

{Dr Cid}

Dr Cid nods.

"If we knew how many pieces there were, we could know how far left to go." Dr Cid contemplates aloud.

He thinks on this a moment, then pushes it from his mind.

"Shall we wait for the warriors of Cosmos to scatter, then retrieve their captured pieces?"

Zack chuckled.

"Right." he said, he held up his sword, he and cloud immediatley started cutting through manikins, Cloud fought like Zack, except his form seemed a bit different. they kept cutting through, till they were all gone.

-meanwhile-

Genesis sighed.

"I suppose we should do that, I doubt our chances of facing them now." he said, sighing.

{Cloud}

While fighting, Cloud pulls out the hollow blade again, fighting with two weapons. More manikins ran through a nearby door.

Cloud launches himself at them.

{Dr Cid}

 

Cid nods.

"Unfortunately, they lack the bickering that makes the other warriors of Chaos." Cid laments. "If we could drive a wedge between them, we could gain an upper hand."

Cid sighs.

"But that is easier said than done."

Lightning smahed her shield into one of the manakins, the crystal shattering. Thunder magic sprayed out from her blade as she swept it through the air, the l'Cie dancing across the battlefield. She kept her eyes on Vanille the entire battle. That was definitely her friend, not some trick like before.

 

But that didn't matter. There were too many of them. But she had a secret weapon. Lightning raised the heavy blade above her hand, green energy radiating outward. "Ultima Sword!" She drove the blade into the ground, a massive shockwave blasting out from her weapon. Crystal shattered on impact, the remains disintegrating in the wake of the emerald blast.

Genesis sighed.

"Your right..." he said, he then sighed and then thought for a moment.

"Hm... perhaps we could drive a wedge between cloud and Zack... they're from the same world... supposedly they're best friends... maybe Cloud should be reminded of what became of Zack." he said. the man nodded.

"And... ther'e salways lightning, she's not in it for the war, she just wants Serah." he said, Cid nodded.

"And that brand..." Genesis said, he looked in the chest they put the orbs, and pulled out the dark red chaos orb. it had the same mark Lightning's brand looked like.

"Say we kill Serah infront of her... wouldn't she become that ragnarok?" Genesis asked. the orb gleamed.

{Cloud}

Cloud nods with approval at Lightning's attack. He reattaches his hollow blade and continues fighting with a single sword. He flips back away from a group of enemies and uses Blade Beam on them.

{Dr Cid}

Dr Cid laughs.

"Killing Lightning's sister would be an excellent wedge to exploit." He says, still laughing. "The question is would this Ragnarok be more trouble than can be handled?"

Vanille had run back to Gilgamesh and pushed him over to take her rod back.

 

“Sorry, but I kinda need it now!” she shouted at the poor sap.

 

But by the time she returned, all of the Manakins had been defeated.

 

“You guys are too good,” she said in a mock pouting voice. ”I’ll neva keep up.”

 

The other warriors stood around panting.

 

“Well maybe you can’t keep up with me,” she said tauntingly.

 

She smiled and cast Cura on the entire group.

 

“Now let’s go! Hope and Serah aren’t gonna find themselves, ya know. But wait… they are themselves…”

Zack sighed then nodded.

"Right... I guess..." he said. this vanille girl seemed strange.

-meanwhile-

Genesis sighed.

"Whether or not it can be controlled, it sounds like the type of thing to try... where's Serah?" Genesis asked.

OOC: Serah’s currently floating between dimensions (the Rift?) waiting to make a reappearence when Zack separates from Lightning or when somebody else pulls her from it. Anyone’s free to summon her, as long as they aren’t with Lightning.

 

Vanille saw Zack sighing. She went right up in his face and put her right index finger on his nose.

 

“Now you hear me Mr. Grumpy Gills, we’ll have no frowning here! Bright moods mean a bright future!”

 

She turned to the whole group.

 

“A little optimism can go a long way! Let’s hear a song!”

 

She turned around about to sing, but someone threw a rock at her. She wheeled back around.

 

“Hey! Fine, no songs, but chins up!”

"Vanille." Lightning's weapons vanished in a dark flash, coming up behind the girl. "This is a war. It's not like the seige on Cocoon, or even the Purge. We're fightning an enemy that would kill us on sight... and have." She thought of Balthier. If only she had been there...

 

Claire stepped in front of Vanille, looking her in the eyes. Her face was as cold as stone. "I'm afraid there are no smiles here. Only shadows of our past." She sighed. "You'll find out what I mean soon enough. It's just..." She let out another heavy breath, turning her back to the others.

 

'No tears.'

 

"Let's find Hope and Serah."

{Cloud}

Cloud shook his head at Vanille's antics. There always seemed to be some high spirited person around when things happened. Hopefully this girl won't lose her spirit to this war. Cloud walks over to Vanille.

"Don't lose your light." Cloud says simply to Vanille.

Vanille gives Cloud a confused look.

"Don't lose your outlook." Cloud clarifies. "Your outlook might keep Lightning from losing sight of what she needs to do."

Cloud turns and walks a way. He stops and looks around at his follow warriors of Cosmos.

"Zack told me that Cosmos placed a piece of Ultima in each of us." Cloud says to everybody. "That means we need to stick together."

Cloud focuses on Lightning for a moment, then returns to looking around at everyone.

"Serah is one of our own. We need to find her."

{Dr Cid}

Dr Cid thinks a moment. He did not share Genesis's feeling that releasing Ragnarok with out some sort of control was a good idea. Dr Cid had no idea how this creature would react. What if it aimed its self at Genesis and himself? To much was riding on this for an uncontrolled monster to be set lose.

"I am unconvinced." Dr Cid says at length. "Too many unknowns with Ragnarok to be a good idea."

Cid thinks a moment more.

"But." He says. "Leverage on Lightning would not be remiss. What do you think, Venat?"

Though Genesis does not see Venat, Cid acts like he is listening to someone talk.

"Good." Dr Cid says after a series of nods. "Please do so."

Dr Cid looks over at Genesis.

"Venat shall look for Serah." Dr Cid informs Genesis. "From there, we shall see what course of action shall be the best to take."

Zack nods.

"Yeah, Vanille, can you take us to where she is?" he asked. he studied his orb for a moment.

'I have mine... what about the others?' he thought in his mind.

-meanwhile-

Genesis nodded.

"Very well..." he said, thinking.

He then looks at Cid.

"While I was there... I did not see Balthier among them." he said. Cid sighed.

{Dr Cid}

Dr Cid thinks a moment. Why hadn't Balthier been there? What plan was he planning?

"We had best keep a better watch out for Balthier." Cid says. "Where ever he is, he is most likely forming a plan of some sort."

Cid taps his foot. What was taking Venat so long?

{Cloud}

Cloud walks over and studies Zack's orb. It seems a little smaller than the ones that that had been found, but that could be his imagination.

"How did you get yours?" Cloud asks Zack.

Johnny checked out the phone device and homed in on Serah's location. He couldn't see anything.

"Sorry, Light, but I can't locate her. She hasn't reappeared yet," Johnny shook his head. "Until she pops up, there's nothing I can do." Johnny then decided to home in on Hope, "Our other friend, however has shown his face in Baron. It's up to you, we either go after more orbs, or we find Noel."

"Noel, eh?" Vicente pulled the boy to his feet. "Good. You're with the living. How did you get here?"

Gilgamesh once more looked over the group. Vanille had appealed to him, she reminded him of...

"Ba...Bart...Bart...z?" Gilgamesh struggled over the name of his former friend. He had been traveling dimensions and fighting along so many others, he had forgotten his own rival's name!

Genesis sighed, he sat back,

'hm... didn't I wound him or something?' he thought in his mind.

-meanwhile-

Zack looked to cloud. he sighed.

"I went after Genesis a while back... he attacked. then escaped." he said. CLoud nodded.

"He said to seek him out, in the mako cave, I faced him... and won." he said, Cloud nodded.

"Then it just came to me, it appeared..." he said.

{Cloud}

Cloud stares at Zack's orb for a moment longer.

"Must be linked to our goals." Cloud says. "You defeated your 'rival' in this war, so your orb appeared."

The theory made a sort of weird sense. Cloud glances around at the others.

"Wonder what their goals are." Cloud wonders aloud.

"Wonder what mine is." Cloud thinks to himself.

"We should..." Lightning stopped, sighing as she rubbed her eye. Why did she have to decide? "We shouldn't leave anyone behind. Let's find Noel." It was true that Ultima was their goal, but if Cid and Genesis got to Noel first...

 

And what about Serah? Johnny had said that she hadn't appeared yet. Lightning wasn't sure what would happen to her until then, but as soon as Serah returned, she would be there.

Johnny opened up a portal to Baron and turned back toward the group, "We should split up. Some of us will look for this world's Ultima orb, while we get Noel."

Zack nods.

"I'll come." he said. (I played FFIV)

he walked over to the sie of the portal, he looked at the others.

-meanwhile-

Genesis sat down in a chair, he opened up the container and looked at the orbs.

"Five of them already... atleast we outnumber those fools for the moment." he said sighing.

"I'm going to find Noel." Lightning crossed her arms. She didn't care if he was in Baron, Midgar, or Zanarkand. She could feel that he knew something. Something about Serah...
