Story:

 

Chaos has obtained a strong power and has threatened to destroy the universe if he has the ultimate power, The warriors have teamed up once again to help Cosmos to destroy this evil, Most worlds have been destroyed or ruined by Chaos' power. The Warriors of Cosmos need to stop Chaos from obtaining the ultimate power, the power that holds the whole universe together, they call it the Ultima it has the power to create and destroy a whole universe, it controls time and space. The warriors of Chaos have to stop Cosmos' Warriors obtaining the Ultima so they can hand it over to Chaos so he can absorb the power and use it to take over the universe or destroy it.

 

Rules:

 

1: No taking control of other peoples Characters without permission.

 

2: You can use your own character or a Final Fantasy Character.

 

3: You can choose which side you want to be on Chaos or Cosmos.

 

4: You can't kill other people's characters without permission.

 

5: Don't use bad language, things like Crap or Damn are allowed but no words that are too bad.

 

6: You can be Kingdom Hearts Characters.

{Cloud}

Cloud watches Lightning as she gives the piece of Ultima to Serah. He understands Lightning's motives and approves. He walks over to Lightning.

"You have the same choice too, Lightning." Cloud says to Lightning in a low tone the others couldn't hear. "Hope made a good one. I hope you can live with the one you make."

Cloud turns to the others.

"We have most of our number back together." Cloud says to everyone. "We are going to need to stick together as much as possible. Our next step is to find the remaining pieces of Ultima that are still scattered around the worlds."

Cloud glances at Snow's crystal and shifts uneasily. He returns his attention to the group in general.

"We also need to find out how to get our crystals. How you do that, I'm not sure. We'll have to learn that as we go along."

{Dr Cid}

Dr Cid looks around at the castle he popped up in front of. The castle has a foreboding look about it. It seems to resonate with power. Cid looks around to see he is standing on white sand, on what looked to be an island that floated in a void. He sees a path extent into a dark haze away from the castle and several small islands dotted around, floating in the void.

Cid looks back at the castle. He notes that that odd spikes and additions to the castle give it an odd angler look.

As Dr Cid studies this castle, a word forms in his mind.

"Oblivion." Dr Cid murmurs as he steps toward the doors to Castle Oblivion.

Golbez sighed.

"Me? I wish to take no part in this conflict, it is a waste of my time, owever I will be rooting for you. so to speak." he said, Zack nodded.

"Thank you." he said, the man nodded.

"Say hello to Cecil for me if you see him." he said. Zack nodded and walked up the stairs. Golbez sighed.

"Wait." he said, Zack turned to him.

"You carry something... a tear?" he asked. Zack sighed, he pulled out of his pocket a crystal blue tear.

"Balthier... he... didn't make it." he said. Golbez nodded.

"I see..." he said. he then nodded.

"Get going." he said. Zack walked up the stairs.

'So Doctor Cid's son is dead... tragic.' he thought to himself.

"So you just, 'gave' it to him?" Genesis asked appearing, Golbez looked to him.

"He held his part of the deal, why not?" he asked. Genesis sighed.

"We're in trouble, and you give away one of the pieces? they have perhaps over ten now." he said... annoyed.

"Don't worry about me." Lightning said softly as Cloud turned back to the others. She had surrendered her Ultima to Serah. Her sister even had Odin. She would be able to take care of herself. Claire winced as she felt her mark singe. It wasn't even the burning feeling form before anymore. It was almost as if it was just... giving up. She turned away from the others, from Serah and Hope, before vanishing in a cloud of black smoke.

 

She appeared on top of what seemed to be an enormous building of some kind. Her vision was beginning to blur as she saw a figure standing on the edge of the building. It looked... familiar. "Cid?" The name came to mind without athought, the man turning around.

 

"I am sorry, but no." Sec walked to the l'Cie, who fell to her knees. "Your life, your Ultima... you have surrendered them." She said nothing as the man knelt down, grabbing Lightning by the shoulders. "You have completed what you set out to do, protecting those closest to you. A noble goal indeed." Sec pulled her close, the silver guantlets on his arms glowing. "Come. Let us end this war, Claire Farron."

 

"Yes." She answered softly. Serah was safe. And that was all that mattered.

Vanitas walking through Chaos' Realm enjoying the view of destruction.

"I need to find some of Cosmos' lackeys, I would enjoy crushing them.

Vanitas sees Golbez and Genesis talking nearby.

"So,where you two summoned by Chaos?" He asks them.

"Lightning!" Hope, Vanille, and Serah all cried as she disappeared.

 

There was a silence after she was gone.

 

Hope and Serah were especially worried. They both knew that only warriors of Chaos had been given the power to teleport, and so did everybody else.

 

"Lightning," Serah said softly. "Where did you go?"

 

Vanille looked around at the somber gathering. She remembered what Cloud had told her.

 

Don't lose your light.

 

"Well people, we can't just sit around and mope, can we?" she said cheerily. "We've got work to do! So we've got how many Ultima, tenish? How many more do we need?" she asked.

 

Here peppy exterior hid the pain she felt inside.

Johnny shook his head, "I have no idea how much we're going to need. We could end up searching forever." Johnny looked to the somber group, "But hey, cheer up! It's an adventure! We've got every orb that's been found, we can handle ourselves against Cid and Genesis!"

Gil got excited with Johnny's pep talk, "I like this guy! He reminds me of Bartz!" Gil then stopped himself. He had remembered his old sparring buddy!

Vanille giggled. Her optimism seemed to be rubbing off on Gilgamesh and Johnny.

 

"What he said, everybody, get up!" she chirped. She walked around and shook everybody's hands.

 

"The name's Vanille. VA-NEE-ULL. Let's keep going, come on!"

 

Vanille seemed to be dragging everybody else forward.

 

"Those Ultima's aren't gonna find themselves!" Vanille chirped.

 

Serah suddenly stepped forward.

 

"Zack, we need to find Zack," she said resolutely.

{Cloud}

Cloud stares a moment at where Lightning had been. There were many things about her that reminded him of himself. He hopes she can see her way clear.

"I agree." Cloud says to Serah's statement.

Cloud turns to face the group again.

"Hopefully he has found another piece."

Genesis nodded.

"i suppose, you can say that." he said. this boy seemed very evil. Golbez sighed.

"If this troubles you, why not go and take it from him?" he asked, Genesis then sighed.

"I doubt it's all that simple." he said.

-meanwhile-

Zack headed up through the baron castle.

"So you got the orb?" a man asked, he turned to see a man in purple armor.

"Who are you?" he asked.

"A soldier of cosmos, like yourself... I am Kain." he said.

Serah looked at Cloud.

 

“Do you know of Zack?” she asked. ”I was told that he held a key to Ultima unknowingly. The key, was something about a Balthier, or his world, Sky Fortress Bahamut.”

Lightning heard a voice in her head.

 

Hey, Sis, I know you’ll do the right thing. Go be a hero!

 

She hadn’t given the crystal tear back to Serah; just the Ultima and Odin.

{Cloud}

"Zack and I are from the same world." Cloud answers Serah. "He's a friend of mine."

Cloud looks puzzled.

"Do you mean that Zack holds something more than his piece of Ultima?"

"You are right. It's not that simple." Sec entered the room, straightening his cloak. His gaze shifted from Genesis to Golbez, and then to Vanitas beside him. "The warriors of Cosmos will guard their pieces of Ultima with their lives. In fact, their Lightning has surrendered."

 

He could feel a massive dark energy resonating from the masked boy beside him. He could feel the power in his gauntlets pulsating in response. An incredible power indeed. "I can personally guarantee the destruction of Cosmos' forces."

Vanitas takes his mask off,

"I am Vanitas.." he says destroying the mask.

He summons the X-blade,

"Now..hould we get a chance to kill all of Cosmos' puppets?"

Genesis smiled.

"Alright, let's start with the most recent pawn, Zack Faire, he possesses two pieces, and is inside this castle." he said. the others nodded.

-meanwhile-

Zack sighed.

"Geez, this place is a maze." he said looking around, he didn't like castles.

Serah looked at Cloud.

 

“I don’t know him personally, I heard my beloved’s voice, Snow. He fell in this war. I heard him say to seek out his friend Balthier’s legacy. Supposedly, Zack holds whatever he meant. Where was he last seen?”

Johnny quickly looked around at the group. How could he miss Zack?

"Shoot! We left him back in Baron!" Johnny quickly opened up a portal. "No doubt he's already found that orb. Zack always found the treasures first."

{Cloud}

Cloud walks over to the portal. He summons his sword and checks the locks on all the different swords.

"Let's go." He says.

Cloud steps through the portal.

Johnny walked through the portal and looked around at the town. Johnny went to the building by the waterfalls, only to find it locked.

"I really hoped I wouldn't have to do this," Johnny said, aiming the Keyblade at the door. The Keyblade fired a beam of light at the lock and the door opened.

Gil watched with excitement, "OH! That's cool! When are you gonna take me to get one of those?"

Johnny turned back to Gilgamesh, "All in good time. Perhaps after we're done here."

{Cloud}

Cloud looks at Johnny's Keyblade for a second, puzzled. That look familiar. Oh well, probably from a previous cycle.

Cloud steps through the open door, his eyes darting around for any sign of enemies or of Zack.

"Gilgamesh." Cloud calls. "You can go sword shopping after we save the universe."

Johnny walked into the room, noticing a hole in a nearby wall. With water coming out. Johnny decided to chance it and began crawling through the hole. After a few minutes, Johnny emerged in a stone room.

Johnny turned back to his comrades at the other end of the tunnel, "Hey, I'm inside the castle. Anyone who wants to, come check it out."

Johnny climbed out of the tunnel and shook of some of the filth that had gotten on him. He then pressed a stone on the wall which opened a secret door, leading into the castle.

Gilgamesh eyed Cloud's swords carefully, "Those are some interesting swords you've got there. Where'd ya get 'em?"

Jaina wandered around town, checking out various buildings when she heard something. She put her head up against a wall and heard a voice, cold and emotionless. She couldn't make out all of it, but what she did get wasn't too reassuring, "...guarantee...destruction...Cosmos' forces..."

{Cloud}

Cloud rests his fusion swords on his shoulder.

"Long story." Cloud answers Gil.

Cloud follows Johnny into the castle. He dismisses his swords in order to follow. After crawling through the tunnel, Cloud stands up and dusts himself off.

"Good find." Cloud comments to Johnny.

Cloud steps through the secret door. On the other side, he finds a dimly lit room that is barren of items.

{Dr Cid}

Dr Cid walks down another white hall way. He hasn't found anybody else, but he is not surprised. He wonders what this castle was originally. From he could see, it was some sort seat of power, but for who?

"What do you think, Venat?" Dr Cid questions his friend.

"I am unsure." Venat responses. "This place has power, but I know nothing of it."

Dr Cid scratches his chin. What was this place?

He opens a door leading into a room. He scans it with his eyes to make sure it was empty like the others. He notices a black spot on the floor, in the corner. He walks over to it to investigate. The black spot moves toward Dr Cid, then it springs up into a small black creature. Dr Cid halts and studies this creature. It fidgets and moves in jerky movements.

Just as Dr Cid moves to get a closer look, the creature lunges at him. Cid is barely able to dodge the attack. He summons his guns and shoots the creature before it can attack again. Dr Cid takes several deep breaths.

"What was that?" He asks aloud.

Johnny begins to walk up the stairs into the castle. As he gets to the top of the stairs, he is stopped by a guard.

"Halt! What is your business here?"

"I'm just here looking for a friend. He's about my height, spiky black hair, carries a massive sword."

"I've seen no hair nor hide of this 'friend' of yours."

Hope, Vanille, and Serah ran up behind Johnny. Serah couldn’t wait to find Zack. If her beloved needed her to do something, she’d get it done.

 

Serah jumped forward and aimed her bowblade at the guard’s neck.

 

“You’re gonna let us through with no problems Mister, you got that?” she demanded.

 

“Wait,” Hope said, ”This is the War of the Gods. No ordinary people should be here. Who are you, guard?”

Golbez smiled behind his helmet, these people thought him to be an ordinary guard.

"my name is Theodore, what, is there something going on?" he asked.

-meanwhile-

Zack sighed.

"Damn... which way?" he asked. Genesis and the others looked to him, hiding in the shadows.

"Let's get him, golbez is covering the entrance." he said. the others nodded.
