Story:

 

Chaos has obtained a strong power and has threatened to destroy the universe if he has the ultimate power, The warriors have teamed up once again to help Cosmos to destroy this evil, Most worlds have been destroyed or ruined by Chaos' power. The Warriors of Cosmos need to stop Chaos from obtaining the ultimate power, the power that holds the whole universe together, they call it the Ultima it has the power to create and destroy a whole universe, it controls time and space. The warriors of Chaos have to stop Cosmos' Warriors obtaining the Ultima so they can hand it over to Chaos so he can absorb the power and use it to take over the universe or destroy it.

 

Rules:

 

1: No taking control of other peoples Characters without permission.

 

2: You can use your own character or a Final Fantasy Character.

 

3: You can choose which side you want to be on Chaos or Cosmos.

 

4: You can't kill other people's characters without permission.

 

5: Don't use bad language, things like Crap or Damn are allowed but no words that are too bad.

 

6: You can be Kingdom Hearts Characters.

"The heart has many uses." Alma thought it over, watching Cloud as she did so. "He could be trying to summon Kingdom Hearts as well, or he could simply..." She stopped, wary of Vanille's reaction. "Simply absorb it to become more powerful. But I doubt that's what he did. That guy targeted Hope; he wouldn't just toss the heart away" She stoped for a seond, mulling through her thoughts. "Did Hope have any special abilities? Perhaps a weapon, or the ability to summon something?"

Zack sighed.

"Hope use to be a warrior of chaos, he had strong magic powers..." Zack said, the woman nodded. he sighd looking at Balthier's tear jewel.

"I didn't know him that well... should of probably paid more attention." he said.

-meanwhile-

Golbez dissipeared, then re-appearedat Chaos' throne.

"Mater Chaos?" he asked, calling out. he heard a familiar voice.

"all my warriors have fled and left... what brings you?" it asked.

This time Serah talked.

 

“Hope had a boomerang from Cosmos, but it didn’t seem all powerful. And he could also summon Alexander.”

 

Vanille gasped and put her hands over her mouth.

 

“Did Hope have any Ultima’s on him?”

 

Serah shook her head. ”No, I have them. But Zack may be right about him fighting for Chaos, and Alexander in enemy hands…”

Johnny thought for a moment. Another Keyblade wielder, running around stealing hearts.

"That guy...it's entirely possible he's looking for something in our hearts," Johnny said. "Cosmos said each of us holds a piece of Ultima inside us. Thus, that guy may be stealing hearts for Ultima."

Gilgamesh sat down and began to think, "Stealing hearts? How is that possible?"

Johnny turned back to Gil, "The Keyblade has the unique ability to seal or open any lock. Unfortunately, that also includes the lock on someone's heart."

""We have Ultima inside of us?" Cosmos had failed to mention that before. But that wasn't the biggest issue on her mind.

 

"Hope could also summon Alexander?" Alma swore under her breath, thinking about what they were up against. Sec's Alexander was bad enough; she didn't need another one. "I wouldn't rule out the idea of fighting the summon later. As for Hope coming back..."

 

"As long as his heart is intact... I think we can save him."

“Good then,” said Serah. ”We have to get a move on it if we want to save him.”

Serah stood up and walked forward a little.

“We’ll take shifts supporting Cloud,” she said, lifting the SOLDIER off the ground.

“Ultimas in their heart,” Drex mused to himself. ”I didn’t even think of that.” Drex disappeared in a burst of smoke.

Vanille smiled too.

“We’re neva gonna get anywhere waiting around,” she chimed. ”The answers lie ahead.”

She then thought she saw a little smoke wisp out from a nearby door, but it was probably nothing.

{Cloud}

Cloud drifts in and out of consciousness for a few seconds. At first there was searing pain, but that slowly fades.

"Healed." Thinks one of the corners of his mind that still works.

Cloud struggles to find his way back to consciousness. He needs to stop that Drex. This was getting out of hand. Too many Warriors of Chaos. Too many people working with secret agendas. Anger surges through Cloud, causing his wounds to heal faster. Cloud's eyes snap open, his pupils now cat like slits. He sits straight up. He looks around for Drax. Not seeing the Keyblade wielder, Cloud shouts in frustration and slams his fist down on the ground.

{Dr Cid}

Dr Cid lifts his arms in a helpless gesture.

"I am unsure." He says.

He walks over to the base of a column and sits.

"We have lost most of our pieces of Ulitma." He says with a sigh. "We were so close."

Dr Cid clenches his fist for a moment. He takes a deep breath, unclenches his fist, and stood up.

"We had best gain an edge." Dr Cid says, new determination in his eyes.

A smile plays across the doctor's lips.

"Perhaps our new little friends could be of help."

"Perhaps." Genesis said taking a few steps.

"We have newcomers... one that goes by the name of Xehanort." he said. Cid nodded.

"Perhaps I should visit." he said. Golbez appeared.

"Cid." Golbez said. the man lookes to him.

"I bear sad news for you." he said.

“Sad news, sounds like fun,” Drex said as he entered the room. He approached Dr. Cid.

“You seem like the ringleader of this little band. Blah, blah, blah, your own agendas. The name’s Drex. My goal, stir up as much mayhem as possible. I’ll work as a soldier for hire for any of you, but I come with a price.”

Drex made Hope’s heart momentarily float in front of him, then disappear again.

“I want Lightning’s heart when she shows up. It may be a steep price, but since I’m the only one on this side who has a legit keyblade, I can take the hearts of the other Cosmos warriors and extract their Ultimas.”

“Cloud, don’t worry,” Serah said. ”We’ll be able to save Hope. We’ve just got to track down that Drex and beat him. Now where to search…

She helped him to his feet (again) and began walking forward with him.

{Cloud}

Cloud looks angrily at Serah for a second, his pupils still slits. Cloud blinks a few times. His eyes return to normal. Cloud feels the anger leave him.

"What was that?" Cloud racks his brain.

"No time." He told himself.

Cloud looks around. Where to start? With those who know something. Cloud turns and faces Johnny and Alma.

"Can either of you shed any light on this?"

{Dr Cid}

Cid studies the two new comers. He knew Golbez. Different, but usable. This Drex on the other hand was another matter.

"Interesting." Dr Cid says, looking from Golbez to Drex. "This is certainly a change of pace."

Cid focuses on Golbez.

"What news do you bring?"

Cid glances back to Drex.

"And what makes me sure of your skills, boy?"

"Settle down." Alma took a step back, keeping a careful eye on Cloud. "This guy's new to all of us. He's using a Keyblade, that's all we know."

 

That look in his eyes. It reminded her too much of Jast.

{Cloud}

Cloud takes a deep breath.

"That's fine." Cloud says. "What I'm look to see is if you two other Keyblade Wielders have some sort of knowledge about where Drex, another Keyblade Wielder, might have gone."

Cloud feels a muscle twinge in his left arm. He rubs it.

"If you don't have anything like that, then we will work from there."

"He was pretty direct about what he wanted. He came in, took Hope's heart, and then left." Alma relaxed some. "I wouldn't be suprised if he just popped up again to pick another one of us off. After all..." She looked ot Johnny. "You said we all have a piece of this Ultima inside of us, right? Believe me. He'll be back."

 

Alma stretched. She was still kind of stiff from being transported here. "So unitl then, we may as well pick up wherever you guys left off."

Golbez looked down.

"Balthier is dead." he said. Cid's eyes widened a bit.

-one hour ago-

"Lord Chaos." he said, the demon nodded.

"Golbez... the lunarian." he said, the man nodded.

"I wish for information." he said. Chaos sighed.

"Very well." he said. Golbez cleared his throat.

"What becomes of warriors who are defeated...?" he asked. Chaos sighed.

"If it's within the cycle's rules... then they will perish, and be reborn in the next cycle." he said. Golbez nodded. he was about to turn around.

"however... this is no ordinary cycle." Chaos' deep voice said. Golbez turned.

"This is a cycle that will decide the fates of all." he said. Golbez looekd up.

"The quest for the ULTIMA... the dragon expected this conflict to end a long time ago... it has not." he said. Golbez nodded.

"And so forth... the dragon will not restart the cycle when this one ends." he said. Golbez's eyes widened.

Golbez sighed, explaining.

"I'm sorry." he said.

Drex smirked and summoned a Keyblade.

“Well you know I can steal hearts with this thing.”

Then he summoned the second.

“And this second one I got from striking down my old Somebody. If you need any more proof of my motives, look at what I am. A Nobody. That means I have no heart, so no emotions. The only thing I can feel is… Nothing. A perfect mercenary is one without remorse, is it not. In the short time since I’ve been called to this world, I’ve struck down one warrior of Cosmos, Hope.”

He held up the Alexander crystal.

“And claimed both this and my heart as prize.

Johnny thought for a second, "There's no unique place to find a Keyblade wielder, but we could probably find one at the Land of Departure, the Keyblade Graveyard, or Hollow Bastion. Our best bet is Hollow Bastion, at the Final Keyhole. Someone used seven hearts to open up the Door to Darkness once before. Maybe our friend is looking for special kinds of hearts."

{Cloud}

Cloud nods.

"Any lead is worth a look." He says. "Take us to Hollow Bastion, then."

{Dr Cid}

Dr Cid is silent for a few moments. Balthier dead? Cid had counted that as a possibility, but had not really prepared for it.

"Thank you for the news, Golbez." Cid says, a little stiffly. "I will...deal with that bit of news later."

Cid focuses his mind on something else.

"I am unfamiliar with this 'dragon.' What does that mean?"

Cid remembers Drex. This boy was odd. Usable? Perhaps. Need watching? Of course.

"What makes you think I can get you Lightning's heart?" Dr Cid asks Drex, his voice showing no signs of weakness.

Johnny raised his hand and darkness began swirling, creating a dark portal.

Johnny walked up to it and turned, "Don't worry, it's harmless. At least the first few times."

Johnny walked through and looked up. There it was, the giant castle, when it was possessed by darkness. At the higher points of the castle was a giant Heartless emblem.

{Cloud}

Cloud's brow wrinkles with concentration. He has seen this place before. But were?

"What is this place?" Cloud asks Johnny.

Drex smirked.

“Don’t fake it. I have no feelings, ergo, I am the master of emotions. I know you have no feasible means of obtaining Lightning’s heart. Only a Keyblade wielder could do that. Instead, just save her for me whenever she pops up. Retain her, abuse her, just don’t crush her heart. In the meantime, I’ll wait. I’ll help you achieve Ultima. There were two keyblade wielders for Cosmos. I’ll tap into one of their ally’s heart, seize the Ultima, and then leave the keyblade wielders to clean up the mess. The victim my survive, but we’ll be one step closer. And a perfect target would be one of the girls. Vanille or Serah?f

{Dr Cid}

Dr Cid snorts. This boy was sure of himself, that was sure.

"Very well." Dr Cid agrees.

He thinks a moment.

"I would say your best target would be Vanille. Attacking Serah might adversely effect her sister."

“Vanille, okay. I’ll need some Manakins.”

Drex chuckled and looked at Dr. Cid.

“Now these Manakins, how are they made? I’d like to possibly make some of my own. I’ve seen Manakins of the fighters of this conflict, but what of their Eidolons?”

He held Alexander’s crystal in front of him.

“This could be a very valuable weapon if in the wrong hands,” he said with a laugh.

{Dr Cid}

Dr Cid scoffs.

"Manikins are pathetic." Dr Cid says scornfully. "Even if you were able to make a manikin of a summon, it would be a poor diversion."

Venat appears beside Cid.

"It is done." Venat says.

Cid smiles and looks at Drex.

"I have something more...interesting to try."

Cid snaps his fingers and five Soldier Heartless appears.

"So hello to my new edge." Cid says with a laugh.

"Hollow Bastion." Alma looked up to the castle through narrowed eyes. "But... something's different about it. It was being re-" She stopped as memories flashed into her mind. Had she forgotten something before? That man, Leon. Yuffie, Aerith, Vincent, even-

 

She looked over to Cloud, who was still studying the castle. Was this Cloud's world? She still couldn't remember details. "This must be different than the Hollow Bastion in my time. I think this is during Maleficent's reign."

{Cloud}

Cloud grimaces.

"Let me guess." He says to Alma. "This Maleficent isn't someone we can count on to help."

Cloud felt sure of the answer even before Alma could answer. Another battle looms ahead of them.
