Story:

 

Chaos has obtained a strong power and has threatened to destroy the universe if he has the ultimate power, The warriors have teamed up once again to help Cosmos to destroy this evil, Most worlds have been destroyed or ruined by Chaos' power. The Warriors of Cosmos need to stop Chaos from obtaining the ultimate power, the power that holds the whole universe together, they call it the Ultima it has the power to create and destroy a whole universe, it controls time and space. The warriors of Chaos have to stop Cosmos' Warriors obtaining the Ultima so they can hand it over to Chaos so he can absorb the power and use it to take over the universe or destroy it.

 

Rules:

 

1: No taking control of other peoples Characters without permission.

 

2: You can use your own character or a Final Fantasy Character.

 

3: You can choose which side you want to be on Chaos or Cosmos.

 

4: You can't kill other people's characters without permission.

 

5: Don't use bad language, things like Crap or Damn are allowed but no words that are too bad.

 

6: You can be Kingdom Hearts Characters.

"Exactly. She was also trying to grasp Kingdom Hearts." Alma eyed Cloud again. Should she tell him that she remembered him being here before? "I'm not sure if she's here, though. Just because we're in her domain doesn't mean she's in this war."

{Cloud}

"Let's hope not." Cloud says, checking his swords. "I'd hate to have to fight someone then find out we went the wrong way."

Hefting his sword to his shoulder, Cloud looks at everyone.

"Let's try to stick together, everyone. We've lost too many good people already."

Cloud focuses on Johnny.

"Take us down."

Cloud includes Alma in his gaze.

"You two know the lay of the land. You are in charge of making sure we don't get lost."

Johnny summoned his keyblades to act in defense, "I myself haven't been to this version of the castle, so we're better off like this." Johnny opened the gate to the castle and walked into the main hall. It was similar, no doubt, but still very different.

"We're going to the library first. That's our key to the rest of this place."

{Cloud}

Cloud nods. He follows after Johnny. Cloud still can't shake the feeling that he has seen this place before. Another cycle in the war? That seems to be the best answer, but Cloud is still unsure.

"So" Cloud says. "What was this place?"

Johnny sat down in a chair in the library and directed the rest to do the same, "This place was once the castle of a great city known as the Radiant Garden. However, the fair and just ruler, Ansem the Wise, was overthrown by his six apprentices." johnny stopped a second before going on, "One of them was Xehanort. After overthrowing Ansem, Xehanort took his name and began to dabble into darkness. This world was swallowed by darkness and then became the hub of Malificent's activities." Johnny stood up and turned to the staircase, "The Lift Stop isn't far. We'll get to the top of the castle in no time."

"And from there, it's the Chapel." Alma stopped, looking out the stained glass window. Another memory drifted into her mind, Thay's titanic form towering over her. Lightning crashed down around her, destroying the already-ruined heart gate. Could she really go back there?

 

"Our destination's not that far from the Chapel. We should hurry."

Cloud looks around the library. None of the books look familiar, but the room itself does. Something catches his eye. It seems like a flash of memory. Aerith standing in front of him.

"Aerith?" Cloud says quietly.

And just like that, the image fades away. He turns and faces the others.

"What is our final destination?"

"The Grand Hall." Alma scanned the unfamiliar books. "There's a protal in there that should lead to this world's heart. I think that's where Johnny wants us to be." She turned to Johny. "Why are we going there exactly?"

Genesis lookmed to drex, and the heartless.

'Now he wants to use the shadows?' he thought in his mind. all this keyblade stuff is starting to get to him, Golbez leaned back.

"So you can now summon beings of darkness." golbez said. Cid looked to him.

"Not bad, but I suppose now would be the time to put them to the test." he said.

-meanwhile-

Zack was somewhat confused with all this.

(I forget to post, could you guys atleast include my character? to make it easier when I remember to post?)

Zack looked around the library.

(To AgentQV: We can try, but there is a fine line to worry about.)

 

{Cloud}

Cloud looks over at Zack. Had he seen Aerith? Probably not.

"Zack." Cloud calls over to his friend. "Are you ready for this?"

{Dr Cid}

Dr Cid smiles at the Heartless.

"I do believe these creatures will be quite a boon to our goals." He says with a smile

Cid look at Drex.

"Are you ready?"

Zack looked to his friend, he slowly nodded.

"Yeah."

-meanwhile-

Genesis sighed.

'Seems doc has a new best friend.' he thought to himself. He sighed, then looked to Golbez.

"So... what did chaos tell you?" he asked. Golbez sighed.

"It's either this cycle needs to have a complete winner... or we're dead." he said. Genesis gulped.

"If anything, we're heading there to see if our friend's set up base, and if he's using hearts to unlock the door, we'll know," Johnny climbed up the stairs and moved a bookcase. Johnny walked through the corridor and ended up in a long, hollow room filled with bronze elevators.

"There's no way they'll hold all of us. We split into two groups. Mine goes up first, Alma's second."

Johnny turned to the group and selected his team: Zack, Gilgamesh, Vanille, and Hope.

As they arrived at their destination, they were swarmed by black creatures.

"Heartless!" Johnny exclaimed as he jumped in the air and slammed a Keyblade on one of them. "I didn't think they'd appear here too!"

Gil scrambled as he pulled out a spear and smashed it into one of the creatures.

Alma looked back to her group. She knew Cloud, but the others... not so much. (OOC: There are so many changes going on, I can't keep track of who's here.) "Alright... let's take this lift."

 

She stopped walking, spinning around. Rapture slashed through the shadow, the two halves of the Large Body hitting the floor. "Heartless?! No suprise." She stepped back, the Keyblade's revolver chamber spinning. "Don't let them get you down. It doesn't take long to steal someone's heart."

{Cloud}

Cloud knew, beyond a shadow of a doubt that he has faced these "Heartless" before.

"Good." He thinks. "I've survived them once, I can do them again."

Cloud pulls out the hollow blade from the fusion swords and moves forward. Another Large Body runs toward Cloud. Cloud smiles.

"Invulnerable from the front." Cloud remembers. "Attack their back."

Cloud leads with the main fusion sword. He hits the Large Body center mass, sending the Heartless into the air. Cloud jumps after it, slicing into the exposed back with the hollow blade, followed by a by a strike from the fusion swords. The Heartless fades into a black mist. Cloud lands on his feet a few feet away from Alma.

"I know these things." Cloud says to her. "We move fast, we'll be good."

{Dr Cid}

Dr Cid turns his attention to Genesis and Golbez.

"Then better us be the complete victor." Cid says with utter conviction.

Zack slashed through a shadow, and then casted Firaga at another, they were raving them. Zack immediately sliced through another and deflected a shot one fired.

"Sheesh." he said. another one jumpe dhim, he kicked it down and stabbed, it cringed and then died.

"kinda fun?" he said to himself. he slashed through more.

-meanwhile-

Golbez and Genesis nodded.

"What's our next move?" Genesis asked.

{Dr Cid}

"A field test." Cid says, waving a hand at Drex. "Then we remove those who get in our way."

Dr Cid strokes his chin.

"Any other warriors of Chaos or Cosmos that wish to join us will be welcome. Know of any potential converts?"

"Yeah, just keep an eye open." Alma slashed through another Soldier, spinning around before stopping again. A large man in golden robes and armor stood directly before her, towering over her head. "Thay?" Alma said in dispbelief.

 

"Come with me." The man said, lifting Alma up by her jacket with one hand.

 

'This can't be real. There's no way it-'

 

"Cloud!" was all she could get out before the two of them vanished in a flash of lightning.

 

OOC: Gonna be gone for a bit, so yeah... bit of a cliffhanger there. Who's Thay? Why does he want Alma? Where'd they go? Stay tuned to find out: same bat time, same bat channel!

Drex laughed and smirked at Dr. Cid.

“I just got here friends. The party’s at Hollow Bastion. A world important to the Realm of Light. Many memories for friends…”

Drex dissappeared into a dark portal

Serah jumped for Alma, but missed her.

“There’s nothing we can to but go forward,” she said. ”Where the world’s heart is, darkness should be too, right?”

Then a fireball flew forward and knocked the bowblade out of Serah’s hands.

 

“Let’s hope the same fate didn’t befall them as did the others,” Drex sneered, materializing. He looked at Johnny and Cloud.

“You know, Leon, Yuffie, Cid, Merlin, Tifa… And Aerith,” he taunted. ”I’m assuming that you guys haven’t been back in a while, right? You don’t know about the terrible fate that befell them, do you?”

He wanted them to feel the pain of loss. He brandished both Keyblades.

“Now, you shall walk the same path as them!”

{Cloud}

Cloud shakes his head, trying to clear it. He knew the names Drex had called out, but he only consciously recognizes four of the names. Cloud glares at Drex.

"You think your words hurt?" Cloud calls. "I've dealt with the death of friends before this cycle even started."

A blue aura forms around Cloud.

"Your words are hollow and meaningless and soon to be someone else's problem."

Cloud jumps at Drex. A Heartless Soldier jumps to intercept Cloud, but is cleaved into by Cloud's hollow blade. Cloud brings his formed fusion sword down and around for a strike at Drex. The sword and keyblade clash, sending Drex flying. Cloud lands where Drex had stood. He reattaches the hollow blade to the main sword. He brings his fusion sword up.

Zack slashed through a nother heartless, he saw Alma go (I'm just assuming they were both there)

"Damn." he said, trying to go towards her, mor eheartless got infront.

"Out of my way." he said slashing through a couple, one jumped towards him, he ducked and slashed through it, it vanished immediately.

"Agh..." he groaned slashing towards another.

-meanwhile-

Genesis sighed.

"hollow bastion?" he asked.

{Dr Cid}

Dr Cid shrugs.

"I believe so." The Dr confirms. "Though I believe we should let our young friend be the only one seen."

He grins.

"Let us see what if this boy is worth the effort."

Johnny brings the four keyblades in front of him and charged at Drex. Johnny battled Drex with two Keyblades while the others hovered and supported each blow. Johnny had Drex on the ropes, until the Heartless began to swarm. Johnny sent three of the Keyblades to surround him and Drex, keeping away any Heartless. Johnny then jumped and rammed into Drex while blasting light and darkness from the surrounding keyblades.

As Johnny landed, pulling back the three keyblades, he taunted his dark adversary, "Had enough yet? I can do this all day!"

Xehanort folded his arms as he watched the battle from the Final Keyhole. He was intrigued by Cloud, but even more so with Johnny.

"So he can wield the x-Blade. Intriguing. All that remains is for Kingdom Hearts to appear."

Drex gave a chilling laugh.

“All day, then I’ll give you a break.”

He jumped over Johnny and launched a wall of fire around Johnny, disabling his movement. Then he summoned a wall of golden swords, trapping Cloud and Zack.

Serah and Vanille had been fighting Heartless when Drex lunged at Serah’s heart. Vanille, as expected, jumped in the way. Drex impaled her and tossed her to the ground. He held his dark Keyblade above her body and her heart came out. Then, with a surge of power, he threw his red keyblade through the heart. Out with it came a shining orange crystal. Vanille’s Ultima.

Drex leapt forward and seized the Ultima, leaving Vanille’s heart floating over her body.

“Betcha didn’t know Keyblades could do that!” he taunted Johnny. ”Just think, one wrong move and I could have broken her heart.”

Drex reached for the heart, but an arrow flew by his hand and he jumped back.

“No you don’t!” Serah shouted.

With that, Drex disappeared in a puff of smoke, and with him, the Heartless.

Serah kneeled by Vanille, Vanille’s heart illuminating Serah’s face.

“Johnny, do something!” Serah shouted. ”I think you can save her!”

Meanwhile, Drex appeared in front of Dr. Cid.

“I spared the girl to give them a couple options. A test of sorts.”

Drex flipped the Ultima right into Dr. Cid’s hands.

“See, I have no need for such an item. And her heart, while it radiated a strong light, it is useless towards my endeavors.”

First Hope, now Vanille. All seemed to be going according to plan…

Zack sighed.

"what happened? I can't see anything!" he yelled. something must of happened.

-meanwhile-

Golbez nodded.

"Very well." he said, he created a portal.

"This should take us there." he said. Doc nodded and walked through it. Genesis looked to him.

"and you are?" he asked.

"Golbez." he said. Genesis nodded.

"Genesis." eh said, they had a proper hand shake and wlaked through the portal.

Serah shouted to Zack.

“Drex stole the Ultima from Vanille’s heart! Her heart is just floating here! Johnny is trapped behind that fiery wall, but he may be able to fix this! Free him as I try to hold onto Vanille!”

Serah said this all while continually casting Cure on Vanille. If she could keep her alive just a little longer…

“You know, if someone were to capture the warriors of Cosmos one-by-one, I could extract all the Ultimas.”
