Story:

 

Chaos has obtained a strong power and has threatened to destroy the universe if he has the ultimate power, The warriors have teamed up once again to help Cosmos to destroy this evil, Most worlds have been destroyed or ruined by Chaos' power. The Warriors of Cosmos need to stop Chaos from obtaining the ultimate power, the power that holds the whole universe together, they call it the Ultima it has the power to create and destroy a whole universe, it controls time and space. The warriors of Chaos have to stop Cosmos' Warriors obtaining the Ultima so they can hand it over to Chaos so he can absorb the power and use it to take over the universe or destroy it.

 

Rules:

 

1: No taking control of other peoples Characters without permission.

 

2: You can use your own character or a Final Fantasy Character.

 

3: You can choose which side you want to be on Chaos or Cosmos.

 

4: You can't kill other people's characters without permission.

 

5: Don't use bad language, things like Crap or Damn are allowed but no words that are too bad.

 

6: You can be Kingdom Hearts Characters.

Zidane's Trance form came off and he ran with Zack.

they got out to the world map.

"Gosh, I was confident for a while but as soon as that thing came closer?...I thought i would be a gonner" Zidane says putting away his blades.

The pair started running, Zack thought of himself as a hero to be, but this is suicide, not courage. They kept running till they reached some sort of cave, they ran into it, hearing Bahumut going crazy over it.

'Oh dear...' zack thought to himself sighing. he brushed off his pants and then looekd in, it was some sort of cave.

(PLANET'S CORE)

Zack saw steps, he jumped down onto them, then sighed, Zidane followed.

"We gotta find more of those Cosmos guys." HE said, zidane nodded. He looked around,t he wall was green, it kinda remidned Zack of the lifestream.

Hope shook his head and wiped the blood off his face. He saw Vaan destroy a Warrior of Antiquity with ease, but then fall to a nearby Horror of Antiquity. Hope raised Nue to the air, and threw his boomerang destroying the Manakin.

 

More Manakins kept on coming. Vaan tried to stand up, but Manakins piled on top of him. Hope was almost surrounded.

 

"They've left me no choice!" Hope shouted, as a green crystal appeared from his glove. He threw the crystal up into the air, and Nue spun back and destroyed it. A dark cloud appeared, and out of it jumped the great wall, Alexander.

 

Hope leaped onto him.

 

"Take aim!" he shouted, and Alexander unleashed a furry of bullets.

 

"Quake!" he shouted, and Alexander stamped into the ground.

 

"LIGHT!" he screamed, and lasers of light obliterated the remaining Manakins.

 

Vaan lay on the ground, trying to recuperate. He was injured, just lying there, an easy target. One more for Chaos, one less problem. Hope pointed at him and Alexander listened. Alexander began charging his cannons.

 

Vaan realized Alexander's cannons charging, but saw no Manakins in sight. He looked up at Hope.

 

Hope then felt a pang of grief. He couldn't do this. He wasn't evil at heart. Why would he kill an ally of Light's?

 

"STOP!" he shouted to Alexander, who tried to stop all of his cannons, but it was too late. One of them still fired.

 

Vaan winced, but as if by magic (Chaos' side can warp, right?) Vaan appeared in front of Vaan in a flash of light.

 

"SHELL!" he shouted, as he took the blast. A magical barrier appeared before him, but shattered on impact. As Alexander disappeared, Hope was sent flying several yards back and slammed into a wall, unconscious.

There wasn't any time for this. "Get out of my way!" Odin raced across the Lunar Subtaranne, Lightning and Johnny on its back. Light swept the Zantetsuken across the gorund, a row of thunder spraying out. The manakins fell, more only coming to replace them. And then she saw it ahead: the Fallacious Giant. It grabbed Odin as they approached, slamming the horse to the ground. Lightning leapt up and off of the manakin, driving the blade through its head at the same time. "Zantetsuken!" She spun in the air, thunder crackling, shockwaves flying from the blades. They shattered the surrounding manakins, Lightning landing nearby to Johnny. She combined the Zantetsuken blades, handing them to Odin. "Thank you." The horse nodded before vanishing.

 

Light began to move on, but fell to one knee. That took too much out of her. Was it because of the war? Maybe if she were in her own world it would have been easier. All she knew was they had to get to Orphan's Cradle and stop Barthandalus...

Snow and Hope dreamed the same dream.

 

Snow on Shiva as a motorcycle, Hope on Alexander's back, they charged at each other. Nora and Serah sat in the middle of the two, unconscious.

 

The Shiva Sisters ran over Nora, shattering her into crystal.

 

Then, Alexander crushed Serah, also shattering her.

 

In both dreams, both guys fell off their steeds. Hope shouted something incomprehensible, while Snow began making strange arm gestures. Hope drew his Survival Knife and charged at Snow. Snow could not move, and when Hope got close, he stabbed the knife into Snow's chest. Snow felt extremely drained, but Hope felt exited. Nora came back to life and embraced her son. As Snow slipped away into death, he felt Serah's spirit's embrace.

 

Both woke up in a cold sweat.

Zidane saw a portal.

"Hey Zack look I found a portal, it might lead to the others"Zidane ran to the portal but got pulled in, the portal closed before Zack got to it.

Zidane fell to the ground painfully, "where am I?" he asks himself then he hears someone breathing heavily, Zidane looks over the bush and Hope sitting down sweating to death.

Hope looked around dazed. Was he okay? He stood up and made sure no bones were broken, Paradigm shifted into Medic, and cast Curaja on himself.

 

He scanned the area. Where was Vaan? Was he spared? Why didn't he kill Hope for his betrayal? Did he abandon Hope? Was he captured?

 

Hope's mind raced with panic, worry, and guilt. He heard a bush rustle nearby.

 

"FIRE!" he shouted and threw a fireball at the bush.

Zack sighed.

"Damn it." HE said, zidane had jsut goen and dissipeared, he sighed and saw a path that goes deeper, he walked through it.

"Hello?" He called, he sighed.

"Sure is dark." He said. he saw light and finally got to the end, what he saw was large, and impressive.

(ORPHAN'S CRADLE) He looked around.

"Woah." HE said, he looked otu and saw soem sort of Monster and an old guy.

(I presume they are here? Barthandelus and the doctror?)

{Dr Cid}

 

As Dr Cid is knocked down by Barthandelus, he laughs.

"The puppet shows it's true form." He laughs again.

He shakes his head and tsks.

"This is no way to treat an ally, Barthandelus."

He points over to Zack Fair, who had just entered the room.

"Especially with enemies of Chaos so close."

{Balthier}

As Snow snaps awake, he sees Balthier sitting not far from him. Balthier looks over at Snow and grins.

"Good. You're awake."

Balthier stands up and walks over to Snow and offers him a hand up.

"Time to get moving. The leading man shouldn't be late for a big battle."

Zack got closer, he heard what they said.

'these two are chaos's soldiers?' he thought in his mind. Barthandelus laughed and started firing sphere's of light towards him, Zack jumped over to a nearby arch and ran up it, he got to the top then dashed towards them, he was infront of them now. he summoend his sword.

"Alright, no more playing around." He said composing himself.

"Who are you?" He asked.

(I suppose I don't have permission to control they're speech)

Vaan stood back shocked after nearly being decimated to ash. "What the hell was that?" Was Hope out of his mind? Or was he just conflicted? Either way Vaan knew he had to go help him. But he was no white mage, he had to find that moogle!

 

Vaan ran back towards the lake looking for the moogle but after five minutes realized it must have gone into hiding during all the fighting. "Now if I was a moogle where would I go?.....they are rather curious but mabye he could use a moogle to track down another!" He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small red stone. A faint light was eminating from it as Vaan called out, "Moogle, I call upon your aid in a time of great need. Please guide me!" He threw it down and in a flash the moogle sealed within burst free.

 

"Kupo? You called?" The moogle flew around and finally said " I'll go look around for that shop moogle and come back with it!" It flew off in Hope's direction as Vaan sat down and began to ponder Hope's motives for attacking him and then having a change of heart....

Snow shook his head as he accepted Bathlier's hand and stood up.

 

"So, Capitan Bathlier," he said. "I have an idea where to go."

 

Snow looked up at the sky, remembering an event that seemed a lifetime away.

 

"Barthandelus is going to Orphan's Cradle."

Hope didn't wait to see what he hat hit; his instinct was to run.

 

So he ran away as fast as he could. If he had hit a Warrior of Cosmos, well, they were already his enemy. And if he had hit a Warrior of Chaos, then he might be in big trouble anyway.

 

As he was running, he saw Vaan sitting on the ground. He was about to turn away and run elsewhere, but a moogle tackled him.

"And the pawns of Cosmos show themselves at last." Barthandalus looked to the SOLDIER, his voice booming throughout the chamber. "And as the insects they are, the pawns will swarm. Doctor Bonansa." The fal'Cie's massive head swung to face the man. "Might I offer entreatment in this affair?"

Lightning dashed through the Tesseracts, slashing through any Manakins in her way. She could feel it: Barthandalus was dead ahead. And from the sound of things, she was too late...

 

OOC: A sort post, but I need a reply from Cid first.

Zacks slashed towars Barthandelus with his massive sword, he got a couple hits and was blown back, he caught a ledge and got back up. Cid chuckled and then pulled out guns, he fired them towards Zack, who immediately blocked with his sword, then got behidn cover, he ran up the wall and then shot a Thundaga at them, they groaned. Zack breathed heavily.

"Yeesh, these guys are tough." Zack thought in his mind, figthing both of them would overkill, they fired more at him, which he worked to escape.

"Pitiful human." Bathandalus' face split in half, dozens of cannons sprouting out. They charged quickly, Thanatosian Laughter tearing through the Nascant Throne. Walls crumbled as Barthandalus reformed, any possible cover completely destroyed. There was nowhere left to hide. Zack looked forward as Barthandalus opened again.

 

"Move!" Zack looked up as Lightning leapt down from above, slashing through the fal'Cie. Barthandalus laughed, reforming.

 

"And the l'Cie have arrived as well. Or is it just you, my dear?" Lightning frowned, readying her gunblade. There was no way the two of them could beat Barthandalus alone, much less with that other man here. She couldn't summon Odin again either...

 

"Run." Lightning said, never looking back to Zack. "Get out of here. I'll hold them off."

 

Barthandalus smiled. "Such a noble gesture. I would take this oppurtunity, boy." The warriors of Cosmos could feel energy building up around them.

 

"Go." She said softly.

Zack stared at her.

"are you crazy?" He asked. it was obvious this girl couldn't take them alone, Barthandelus laughed and fired more thatosian laughter, at Lightning, Zack blocked towards it, he got damaged a bit, but not too much. he casted Cura on them.

"I'm not leaving a comrade behind, we both do this, or we both run.." Zack said, holding his blade up.

OOC: Darn, I wish I could create a third, independent character. My other two are sort of tied up at the moment. Let's fix that.

 

The first entrance into Orphan's Cradle that they came across was a gateway. What Snow and Bathlier didn't realize was that only a l'cie and the person that was touching them would be permitted into it (thanks to Barthandelus' trickery). A moogle nearby knew, but he was too late to stop Snow from rushing in ahead. The moogle then told Bathlier the condition.

 

Snow appeared in Orphan's Cradle alone. In the distance he saw Lightning and another boy (wow that's a big sword!) squaring off against Barthandelus and another man.

 

Jumping on a floating platform, Snow rode over to them. He jumped off it onto Barthandelus.

 

"THE HERO HAS COME!"

 

But before he could land a blow, a forcefield appeared and Snow went flying at Lightning's feet.

 

"That's gonna hurt in a moment," Snow said.

 

"Snow!" Lightning exclaimed.

 

"Hey there sis," Snow mocked.

 

An Ultima from Barthandelus flew at Zack. Snow pushed him out of the way and yelled, "STEELGUARD!" Snow got hit, but took minimal damage.

 

The three Warriors of Cosmos lined up against the two henchmen of Chaos.

Zack looekd at him.

"I'm Zack by the way!" He yelled, he jumped towards BArthandelus, and slashed straight through, Barthandelus screamd loudly. He sighed. Barthandelus started firing more rapid attacks, Zack blocked, and became a sorta sabatuer, he casted poison and imperli.

Johnny may have followed Light into Orphan's Cradle, but he did not go where the laughter was coming from. He had gone off to search for the darkness he felt nearby. Something sinister that he felt was gnawing its way into Johnny's heart.

'Turn back, boy...' a voice called to him from the back of his mind. Johnny suddenly fell to his knees, his mind in pain unimaginable. In front of him stood Vicente, his blade ready for execution.

"Vicente..." Johnny murmured as another flash of pain surged. "What's...happening?"

Vicente laughed, but this one was different. Instead of his chuckle, Johnny heard a sinister cackle, all the laughs of darkness from the past, "You fool. You're a veteran of this conflict. That means you need to lose your memories."

Johnny managed to struggle through more flashs as he saw Vicente transform into more dark figures from his memory, "Isn't the winner of the conflict allowed to keep their memories?"

Vicente shook his head, "You forget there never was a clear cut winner to that conflict. Both gods were slain at the exact same time."

Johnny looked back down at the ground, "Then what about you? Why aren't you losing memories?"

Vicente lifted his blade, "Simple. Unlike you, I've locked away my memories by not using them. The only ones that I need are of you and me." Vicente secured the blade in his hands as he prepared for a mighty swing at Johnny's neck. "Say good-bye, Madman."

 

A blade stopped Vicente's execution of the weakened knight. Lionel glanced at the sword's wielder to see Gabranth.

"Playing favorites, eh?" Vicente said before swinging at Gabranth.

Gabranth blocked and slide backwards, "You would kill a man weakened by memories? You could not let him die by his own devices, instead opting to make him fall yourself?"

Vicente retorted, "As if you are one to talk. You let your kingdom fall to Archadia, you let your brother rot in prison, you abandoned all hope for power!"

Gabranth stood upright and merged his weapons, "You will never be the respectable warrior that this man is. He knew honor, you only know corruption." Gabranth removed his helmet, clear for Johnny to see the people of light in his image, "He saw a man, you saw a tool of war." Gabranth rushed into Lionel, destroying the device that he had disabled Johnny with and sent him into a wall, lodging stray shattered pieces into Vicente's back.

Vicente fell to the ground, his back bloodied, "You will pay for this treachery, Gabranth."

Gabranth placed his helmet back on, "As will you for your dishonorable conduct."

 

Johnny slowly got up and saw Gabranth reaching out a hand. Johnny took the hand of the man in armor and asked, "Why? I'm your enemy, you had everything to gain from my death."

Gabranth positioned Johnny so that they could both walk with less stress on Johnny, "As I watched Vicente prepare to strike you down, I catched a glimpse of your memories. I saw these two girls, that I remember from our conflict. I saw your girl, Jaina, and the warriors we had fought alongside. I could not let a man like you perish."

Johnny looked back down and then heard another round of laughter, "They're in trouble. We must hurry."

Gabranth repostioned Johnny, "With all due haste."

 

The two found Zack, Light and Snow confronting a massive wall with a huge face and a man with dual Archadian pistols.

Gabranth stopped in apprehension, "Doctor Cid."

Johnny drew a breath and summoned his Keyblade and his father's, attempting to walk on his own. Gabranth looked over, "Are you sure you're fit for battle?"

Johnny stuck his father's keyblade on the ground acting as a crutch, "I'll be fine, Judge Magister. We'll make it."

Gabranth walked away and faded into a dark portal, "I hope so, or the Warriors of Cosmos will not be able to rid themselves of the shame of this loss."

Johnny hobbled over to his fellow warriors and looked up at his foes, then looked to his allies, "Guess this'll be one hell of a story."

Then, the two Warriors of Chaos were joined by a familiar face: Garland.

"So, we meet again, boy!" Garland shouted, announcing Johnny's presence to both the heroes and villains.

Johnny smirked, "What can I say? I'm like a bad penny: I always turn up." Johnny raised the Keyblade in his right hand to Garland, and Garland raised his massive sword, both ready for duel alongside comrades.

 

(OoC: Man, this is getting big. It's pretty darn awesome.)

OOC: @Oblivion Screw Delta Attack, use Evened Odds! And I "spoiled" Orphan, so those who haven't gotten there, DON'T LOOK!

 

Barthandalus "staggered" back, groaning in agony. There were too many of them. Even he couldn't take much more of this. And yet, he let out a haunting laugh. "And the l'Cie show themselves. Your timing is impeccable." The charged energy in the air collected around Barthandalus. "Now witness true salvation!"

 

Lightning, Hope, and Snow felt their brands burning. Ultima began to burn into the fa'Cie, light blinding everyone in the room. When it died down, Barthandalus' actions became clear. He had merged with Orphan.

 

 

 

 

The three faces spoke at once.

 

Only the chosen shall be saved. The demise of the gods shall herald the return of the Maker, and we shall be saved.

 

The floor liquified, patches remaining solid. Barthandalus' blade lowered into the floor, asserting his complete control over Orphan.

 

That fallen souls might bear our plea, to hasten the Divine's return. O piteous Wanderer...

 

Barthandalus' arms stretched out, Consummate Darkness consuming the Throne.

Zack stared at this crazy monster.

"Damn..." He said, he pulled out his sword, he held it to hsi eha,d then sigthed, he got in position, Orphan laughed. Orphan raised his hand.

It used Consummate Light, suddenly it got bright and then rose int he air, and wne tstraight down, Shaking everything, Zack fell back, sighing, he got back up.

(Am I allowd to control Orphan's speech?)

Forever watchful, we yearn for destruction.

 

Dies Irae tore through the room, molten waves splashing onto the crumbling platforms. Lightning caught her footing, turning to the l'Cie and Zack. "Come on, we have to keep moving!"

 

The day of suffering and the saintly mother's tears are what our hope is.

 

Bathandalus' blade rose from the ocean below, slamming down with Merciless Judgement. Lightning leapt over the massive sword, swiping Orphan with her blade. The blow glanced off, leaving no more than a scratch. How powerful was he now?!

 

L'Cie, you promised to open the gates, full of eternal light!

 

All three faces grinned at once.

 

Ragnarok, come Day of Wrath. O Pulse l'Cie. Embrace thy fate, thine home to burn.

"All show end as it began" Zack heard it yell, he ran forward and slashed at it, it laughed and then fired sphere's of light towards Zack, he fell back, his sword hit stabbed into the ground. Orphan looekd at him.

"Why do you continue this plight? why not give up, Soldier?" It asked, Zack slowly got up.

"Because... I have a dream... and I won't giv eup on it." He said, Orphan laughed.

"Really? What?" It asked. he put his hand on the handle of hs sword.

"To become a Hero." HE said, he started trying to pullt he sword out.

"How... ambitious, and foolish... soldier." It said, Zack looked up.

"And I won't let you, stop me from achieving my dream!" He yelled, pulling the sword out, he leaped forward and slashed into Orphan.

Dr Cid had stepped out of the fight and watched the clash between Barthandalus and the warriors of Cosmos. He enjoys the battle, wait for the right time to step in.

"We agreed you would stay at Draklor while I got the data you needed." Came a voice from behind Dr. Cid.

Dr. Cid chuckles. Not turning around, he says, "I need more than the data I would get from just your reports, Ffamran."

Balthier walks up beside Dr Cid and watches the battle for a moment. He then switches his gaze to Dr Cid.

"Why are you here?" Balthier asks in a icy tone.

"I have a lead to Ultima." Dr Cid says smugly.

Balthier arches an eyebrow.

"Where is it?"

Dr Cid shakes his head.

"Now, now. I never said I knew where it is. Just that I have a lead."

"But why Chaos?" Balthier asks, angrily. "We are trying to stop him."

"Yes, yes." Dr Cid answers. "But you already have access to Cosmos. This way, I can can get data from Chaos and his minions."

Dr Cid looks down at the battle below.

"Bathandalus down there needs to be stopped." Dr Cid says simply.

Balthier nods.

"You going to help?" Balthier presses.

"Sadly, I cannot." Dr Cid says. "I still need to preserve my cover."

Dr Cid reaches in his coat and pulls out a shard of Manufacted Nethicite and hands it to Balthier.

"This should disrupt Bathandalus' power long enough for you and your allies to deal with him."

With that, Dr Cid turns and leaves the area.

Balthier stares at the stone in his hand, hating the sight of it. But he needed it.

Balthier runs out into the battle, firing his gun at Bathandalus. When he was close enough he yells, "GET DOWN!" and throws the nethicite at Bathandalus. With a fluid motion, he aims his gun and shoots the nethicite, shattering it. The magical energy stored in the nethicite is released in a blast. Bathandalus absorbs most of the blast, hurting him greatly.

Johnny was trying hard to avoid injuring himself while fighting. Garland was intensely putting pressure on him. Johnny could fight with one hand, yes, but he could not fight with one leg. Johnny took a mighty swing, sending Garland as far away as possible. Johnny then spun his keyblade and raised it above his head, "Curaga!" He felt an energy ease his sore muscles and give him a second wind. Johnny switched his left hand Keyblade to the True Self and followed Garland.

Garland had landed on the other side of Bathandalus, so Johnny had to jump over him. So he did. Literally. He leapt into the skies and came back down on Bathandalus' head. The figure reformed after the blow, but Johnny had no time for him. He rushed to the small platforms that were appearing and returned to his duel with Garland.
