Story:

 

Chaos has obtained a strong power and has threatened to destroy the universe if he has the ultimate power, The warriors have teamed up once again to help Cosmos to destroy this evil, Most worlds have been destroyed or ruined by Chaos' power. The Warriors of Cosmos need to stop Chaos from obtaining the ultimate power, the power that holds the whole universe together, they call it the Ultima it has the power to create and destroy a whole universe, it controls time and space. The warriors of Chaos have to stop Cosmos' Warriors obtaining the Ultima so they can hand it over to Chaos so he can absorb the power and use it to take over the universe or destroy it.

 

Rules:

 

1: No taking control of other peoples Characters without permission.

 

2: You can use your own character or a Final Fantasy Character.

 

3: You can choose which side you want to be on Chaos or Cosmos.

 

4: You can't kill other people's characters without permission.

 

5: Don't use bad language, things like Crap or Damn are allowed but no words that are too bad.

 

6: You can be Kingdom Hearts Characters.

¥ Vaan ¥

"Thanks Johnny travel safe!" He wanted as Johnny walked away after he took a couple of charms to pass out. "But Hope stop! Seriously what is going on!?" Vaan walked over to Lightning who was still holding Hope back.

 

"I'm going out on a whim here but Hope it sounds like this Barthandelus guy is manipulating you! I know for a fact that Light is a close friend of yours and that you look up to her and you should trust her! But this guy Snow seems okay and he is a warrior of cosmos so can't you at least wait to settle this until you get home?"

 

Vaan walked next to Light and whispered, "Let him go. I'm sure he can control himself 'kay?"

 

~Rinoa~

 

Rinoa flew threw the air past the airship loving the feel of flying but feeling a bit strange at the same time. She tried to recall how she had flown before and images flashed before her mind. A red spaceship, floating out in space alone, and a woman's face. She snapped back to reality as she entered a new area filled with masses flying by her rapidly and large arches everywhere. It was strange and foreign to her and she should have been frightened but she felt amazed!

 

She soared threw the air and flipped looking around the new area. But something was whispering in the back of her head, "Come to me my puppet and all your memories will return. Don't forget your oh so pathetic promise to him!" Even though the words were spoken with a venomous edge, Rinoa felt compelled to turn around and go to a clock tower but a part of her screamed, "No! Don't listen to that witch!"

 

She wanted to listen to that rebellious part of her but her body began to move against her will. She screamed as she saw a light eminating from her body. She began to crash onto the platforms of the area.

{Balthier}

Balthier looks a little confused.

"Cie'th?" Balthier asks. "Haven't heard that one before."

He looks to Lightning.

"I take it from Hope's tone, it's not a good title."

Balthier looks at Vaan.

"How long have you and Hope been working together?"

Lightning looked down to Hope, who still had an edge in his eye. Snow knelt down, his hands on Hope's shoulders. "Hope, what would Nora think?"

 

Nora...

 

Snow's words cut through the illusion, the man returning to Hope's vision. Hope's emotions pulled in all directions. He felt that Snow was a friend, but...

 

"Hope?" Lightning snapped him out of his thoughts. "We have to move on, or else we risk the enemy catching us off guard." She turned to Vaan and Balthier. "Agreed?"

Balthier nods.

"Agreed." He answers.

He rests his gun on his shoulder.

"Where to from here?"

¥ Vaan ¥

Vaan nodded at Light and Balthier's words but raised his hand and pointed over across from them where someone had appeared. " Agreed but we might be a little late but Hope Light is right, you are putting everybody at risk here so calm down. Revenge isn't the right way. Trust me I know firsthand...." He took a few steps away from the party where he had a better view of the person that appeared. "Hey Light and Balthier whoever it is looks wounded, will you come help me check it out?"

 

~Rinoa~

 

Rinoa crashed onto the ground and as she laid there writhing in pain she felt a foreign presence inside her. It was that evil voice! Ultimecha? No.... It slowly came to her it was...... Ultimecia!

She was trying to use her just like on the Lunar Base!

"No I won't give in! This is wrong!" She screamed as her body was taken over by the evil sorceress Ultimecia.

 

(meh. I'm okay as rinoa so far but she has sooooo much potential and I love how the rp is going.)

Lightning ran over, drawing her gunblade. Snow followed, standing in front of her. "Get back, sis. You've done enough so far." He clenched his fist, frost crawling across his fingers. Hope followed suit, looking beside him.

 

"I'm still not sure about you," he said to Snow. "But you've done enough, Light. We've got this."

¥ Vaan ¥

 

Vaan stood by as Light slowly backed and Snow and Hope readied themselves for battle. But Vaan wasn't sure if the figure was an enemy or not. He walked forward and when Snow and Hope stepped forward he raised a hand up stopping them. "We don't know if it's an enemy yet guys" he chided them. As he inched closer the figure moved around and Vaan saw it was a girl about his age who had white wings wrapped around her.

 

"Hey are you okay?" Vaan tapped her and she slowly got up surrounded by a white aura. She shook her head and grabbed it as she replied, "No... I can feel her...help me!" Vaan jumped back as energy radiated from her body. She slowly floated up into the air and raised a hand as she shrieked, "Time is out for you" in a distorted voice. A thunder spell was sent out and connected with Vaan sending him back a few feet. He slowly got up with a sword raised as he said, "I'm sorry we have to do this but here goes!"

Zack sighed hearing something coming from the cradle, he sighed.

'Can't we just leave this party?' he thought to himself, the others were arguing about all this. Zidane followed woth him. They got back into Planet's core, it seemed the same, he got up and looked out, the Bahamut was gone. Zack sighed and climbed out.

"C'mon zidane, let's head out."

(okay, for the record I'm on a family vacation, so I won't be on much for the week)

Balthier examines the situation closely. The new comer seemed to have some sort of magical power. She also seemed to be fighting something inside her.

Disrupt her magic

Balthier starts.

"Where did that come from?" He wonders to himself.

No time. Do it.

While he didn't like this, he couldn't argue with this voice in his head. He reaches down and grabs of few shards of the nethicite. A few still glowed. He picked the piece that glowed the brightest and threw it at Rinoa. Is hit her and disrupts her connection to her magic energy.

OOC: Sorry, life happened! I had a concert and an ACT. Let's hope this entry makes up for it...

 

A young woman wandered into Orphan's Cradle. Clutching her weapon, she looked for her sister...

As the piece hit Rinoa, the magical tension of the arena went hayire. Everyone saw illusions all over the place, but most just shook it off.

 

Hope however absorbed much of the excess random energy (due to being a warrior of Chaos). He was greeted by visions from the past. Nora falling, Snow laughing, Snow saying that those who fought and died were stupid.

 

The grief was too much to bear. Hope drew his knife and advanced towards the unsuspecing Snow.

 

That's right, feel the hatred. Feel the CHAOS!

 

The god of discord had spoken, and when he speaks, his warriors listen.

 

"ARGH!" Snow cried as he felt he sting in his back.

 

Everyone else wheeled around from the new arrival. Snow fell to the ground, with Lightning's knife in his hands.

 

Lightning ran foward and cradled Snow.

 

"CURE!" she said frantically, but the magic had no effect. Snow was fading.

 

Snow looked up at Hope. Hope seemed in shock. The divinely inspired madness had begun to wear off. Hope looked at Snow in horror. Snow knew that Hope didn't mean it.

 

"Take it easy kiddo. Now it's your turn to be the hero."

 

Snow began shining brightly. A tear fell from Lightning's eye.

 

"Claire, take it easy on the kid," Snow said. "Just tell Serah that I-"

 

"SNOW!" the woman yelled.

 

Lightning turned her head to see her sister, Serah run up. Serah bowled Lighting over and grabbed her lover's body.

 

"Good-bye, my Serah," Snow said.

 

"Heroes never die," Serah said through her tears.

 

With that, Snow faded away, leaving only a blue, tear-shaped crystal in Serah's hands.

 

Lightning stood up angrily. She advanced towards Hope. "Why would you do this!?"

 

Hope took a step back, dropping the knife.

 

"There's something I have to confess. I'm a Warrior of Chaos."

OOC: Dun-dun-DUN! Ooh... cliffhanger...

 

Lightning took a few steps back, not believing her eyes. Hope stood before them with her knife in his hand and Serah beside him, crying as she clutched the crystal tear. What was going on?!

 

Lightning drew her gunblade. "A warrior of Chaos?" She looked to her sister. "I believe it now."

 

What had happened to Snow? Did he return to their world? Or was he...

 

She advanced, the blade drawing back to reveal the barrel of the gun. She pointed it at Hope, rage in her voice. "Why?! Why would you do this?! Why join Chaos?!"

OOC: 7 pgs later and someone good had to fade away. To quote Squall, "This is war."

and btw, the knife is on the ground.

 

Hope couldn't fight Lightning, could he?

 

"DO YOU THINK THAT WAS MY CHOICE?" Hope shouted at her.

 

Lightning, realizing there was nothing else to do, ran at Hope.

 

"AEROGA!" Hope shouted, and a tornado enveloped Lightning. She stood her ground, but couldn't move.

 

Hope turned to run. A dark portal opened up. Not caring where it went, he ran in.

 

"YOU CAN'T CHANGE FATE!" he yelled behind him.

 

The wind calmed down around Lightning. Lightning ran to where the portal had been. She smashed her gunblade against the ground.

 

"How could he not give a damn about any of us!" she shouted.

 

Someone grabbed her arm. She wheeled around and saw Serah. Her face was drenched with tears, but she had a strong look in her eyes.

 

"Claire, just please stop. I don't want to lose you too."

 

OOC: Does someone else want to reveal where Hope winds up, or have their character meet him?

OOC: With Barthandelus gone, it's time to bring in the big guns...

 

Hope stumbled through the portal, arriving in a ruined throne room. There were no lights, swirling darkness visible through massive holes in the walls. There was a figure sitting at the throne, its hands folded over its mouth.

 

"Come, my boy. Don't be afraid. I'm the one who called you here." Hope didn't really have emuch of a choice, considering he didn't know where he was.

 

"Who are you?" The man ahead didn't move.

 

"The ruler of a dying world, a pawn of Chaos, call me whatever you like." He never took his eyes off of Hope. "I need your help."

 

That was never good coming from someone with Chaos. "And what's in it for me?"

 

Sec stood, walking directly up to the boy. He looked down, a dangerous look in his eyes.

 

"Nora."

Hope faltered backwards. He had just killed someone who now left a giant hole in his heart, but now he was being offered a chance to see his mother again? Nora... NORA... Operation Nora...

 

Everything flooded back into Hope's mind. His memories, dreams, his friends, his Focus. Lightning, Sazh, Fang, Barthandelus, Orphan, Dajh, Chocobo Chick, Ragnarok. Sweet Vanille. Poor Snow.

 

SNOW! He had just killed a friend who was like a brother to him. Hope fell to the ground and clutched at his head. He screamed at the top of his lungs. Sec allowed him to compose himself.

 

He wasn't truly evil. He didn't belong with Chaos. He remembered the strength that his friends had given him.

 

"I'm not Chaos' pawn!" Hope shouted back. He brandished Nue and readied for battle.

 

"You can't bring Nora back, can you?" Hope said.

 

Sec smirked. "But you cannot return to your friends. You've just decieved them all. Now all of Cosmos' warriors are out to kill you. Unless you kill them first."

Johnny continued walking, ending up at a location built from memories of his own, the interior of Asteroid L. The hollowed out asteroid brought back memories of the final battle with his best friend. Johnny sighed and looked at his keychain. It emitted a small light. Johnny looked up and thought, 'Do they need me?'

 

Johnny found himself wandering World B once more, but this time, he was headed for the land of Chaos. He had passed the teleport stone of Elven Castle and headed for the snowy pass leading to the grasslands of the Gulg Volcano ring. He bought some Potions and a Midgar Flower then pulled out a little device. He pressed a couple of buttons and up came an image of his wife, Jaina, sitting down with a book.

"Hey, beautiful," Johnny said with a smile.

"Hello, handsome," Jaina replied. "How much longer are you gonna be there?"

"I don't know, maybe a few more days, maybe a week," Johnny said, saddened at the though of prolonging seeing her again.

"Do you think that you might need some extra help?" Jaina said getting out of her chair.

Johnny nodded, "I've got the feeling that we're slowly losing help."

The image of Jaina walked over to a cabinet and pulled two pistols out of a drawer, "Where should I land?"

Johnny looked over his shoulder then back again, "The base of the mountain by Elven castle."

Jaina blew a kiss to Johnny, "I'll be there in two hours."

{Balthier}

Balthier runs over and checks on Rinoa and checks to see how she is. He inwardly curses himself. If he hadn't listened to the voice...

You all would have been in danger.

"Shut up." Balthier mutters under his breath.

He glances back to were Snow had been.

"Sorry, Snow." He says softly.

He returns his attention to Rinoa.

{Dr Cid}

Dr Cid moves toward Chaos' seat of power. He needs to check on his "fellow" warriors. As he was walking, he heard a voice.

"I'm not Chaos' pawn!" yelled the voice.

Dr Cid stops.

"Hope?" Dr Cid wonders, out loud.

He moves toward the voice to see what is going on.

Serah bends over and picks up the Survival Knife she had bought Lightning for her birthday.

 

"You should still have this, Lightning," said Serah, trying to muster her emotions. "It may still save your life one day."

 

Snow was gone in an instant. She had just found him, but now he's gone. All that was left was his crystal. Would she seek vengence?

 

"No," she said. "I cannot seek retribution for his actions. If I do, than I'll be no worse than he is. However, since he is an enemy, if we meet in battle, I will defeat him."

 

Looking over at the other new girl, Serah remembered her promise to Snow.

 

To teach children how to survive.

 

Now was no different. Child or not, Pulse or not, she would try to help others survive.

 

Serah walked over to Rinoa and cast Cure.

 

The man helping her had muttered Snow's name.

 

"How do you know my Snow?" Serah asked.

Balthier looks at Serah.

"He and I teamed up for this little adventure." Balthier says quietly.

Balthier stands up.

"Serah, i presume? Snow spoke of you often."

He offers Serah a hand.

"I'm Balthier. I'm sorry about your loss."

Serah shook Balthier's hand. "I hope he touched you the way he has me."

 

Serah turned around. She looked into Snow's tear. Then she began to sing a hymn from her home.

 

Make my wish come true,

Let darkness fade to light,

Show me there's still hope,

Show me it's not over.

 

Battles we can win,

Our struggles lie within,

Will we last to greet the dawn?

 

Love, will not leave you,

Hate, will not heal you,

Promise me one day, peace will reign.

 

Serah turned around to look at her new companions. Balthier, Rinoa, Zidane, Zack, Vaan... and Lightning who was surprisingly speechless.

 

"One day, peace will reign," she said. "And I'll keep fightning until that day comes."

 

With that, Serah turned around, and walked out of Orphan's Cradle.

OOC:... Am I a bad person if I laughed at the first line?

 

Lightning still wasn't sure what she had seen. Was that the same Serah she was trying to rescue? No, it couldn't be. She seemed like a completely different person. But right now, the problem was Hope. The thought of what he did to Snow made her want to-

 

Claire, take it easy on the kid.

 

Snow's last words rang in her head as she started to follow Serah, oblivious to what the others were doing. After a while, she had completely lost her sister. She was somewhere in Orphan's Cradle, but she didn't know where. It didn't matter for now. Her priority was finding Hope. Lightning's hand migrated to her weapon's handle without thinking.

 

She didn't know what she would do then, but she knew the answer would come to her.

"Your friends have betrayed you. You killed th eman who killed your mother and you have been demonized for this simple justice." Sec said without batting an eye. He began to step towards Hope, who backed up. "I swear to you, I can save Nora. All I need..." The man extended his hand. "Is your assistance, Hope Estheim."

OOC: @AnsemTheWise I didn't think about it that way until you said that. Very naughty!

 

Hope felt unnerved at Sec's request. He felt a light inside him trying to guide him, but his better judgement advised him to give in. He'd have to play it safe.

 

"I'm not saying yes, but I'm not saying no," said Hope assertivley. "What is it that you need, and how am I involved?"

 

"Ultima."

 

Hope shuddered. That word! It was his future, the whole reason he had been called into this conflict. If he could obtain Ultima for himself, he might be able to revive his mom himself. And then he could protect Lightning and Serah. It was a win-win. Chaos nor Cosmos needed to recieve Ultima; if it gave him the strength to protect his friends, than it was the only way.

 

"Talk to me," Hope replied.

 

OOC:Fail, I just accedentally made Hope sound like a villain himself, wanting Ultima. Oops, but there's no malicous intent in him at all.

Sec grinned, darkness seeping through his gaze. "The gods can continue their trivial quarrels all they like. I intend to use Ultima for more... noble purposes." He stepped to the side, revealing another hole in the crumbling wall. He gestured to Hope, who peered outside.

 

The sight was haunting. The castle overlooked what looked to be the ruins of a city. It looked like Eden, except...

 

"Even though this is only a facsimile, it still pains me to see my world in this state. My people, all killed by Alma. She took their hearts, and my reason for living." He looked down to Hope. "Sound familiar?"

 

Hope only stood silently.

 

Sec continued. "If I can obtain Ultima, I will have the power to summon Kingdom Hearts, the heart of all worlds. And when I do, I will be able to save the citizens of my world. I can save anyone with that power. Even your mother."

Serah continued walking. She had reached Cosmos' Sanctuary. The goddess of harmony greeted her.

 

"Welcome Serah," said Cosmos. "You are a new addition to our honor, and I see you have your own agenda."

 

"I don't want anyone else to get hurt," said Serah.

 

Cosmos looked into Serah's heart.

 

"You can do that by claiming Ultima for us. To keep it out of Chaos' grips, you must do anything it takes, even though you may not agree."

 

"I will," Serah said. "I promise."

 

"KUPO!" a loud voice called.

 

Cosmos smiled. "This moogle, Mog, will be your assistant. Believe in each other."

 

A cute moogle with a crystal for its pom-pom flew up to Serah. Serah smiled and patted it on its head.

Kingdom Hearts? That name sounded strange, but it seemed like it was the only option he had. But he was getting impatient. Hope wanted to do something, to make amends. To claim Ultima...

 

"Just tell me what I have to do," Hope said. "And I just may do it."

The two of them reached the edge of the Sanctuary. Immediately Manakins sprung up in front of them.

 

Serah ran foward and Mog transformed into a bowblade. Serah aimed an arrow at the centermost Manakin. It was Snow.

 

"Let's do this!" she shouted, and fired an arrow right at it.

Johnny had sat at the side of the castle trying to start a fire when he saw the massive airship descend into World B. He waved to the ship and a beam fired nearby the castle. In that beam appeared Jaina and the two embraced.

Jaina looked around and was suprised, "Where are the allies you talked about?"

Johnny shrugged off the comment, "I decided to go my own way once everything got too confusing."

Jaina laughed, "Typical Johnny, always being to dumb for everyone else."

Johnny scoffed and said, "Let's keep going."

 

The two made their way up the mountain and approached the center of the volcano ring. They stopped to take a rest.

Rinoa slowly opened her eyes to the sight of a man sitting over her staring at her intently. She was lying down on the ground of an area that she had only seen briefly before. Which was when? "What happened here? I remember crashing and I saw him coming...." She pointed at Vaan who still looked a bit beat up. She then stood up against Balthier's wishes and walked over to Vaan. "You look hurt! Let me heal you!" She jumped forwards and closed her eyes as she drew her hand close to her face and then extended it to Vaan an ethereal light swirled around him he was healed by an ethereal light. "Curaga!"

 

"There you go! All fixed up right? Oh by the way I'm Rinoa" She smiled at him and looked around at the other warriors. They looked like they had been through hell! "What happened here and where are we?"

 

¥ Vaan ¥

 

Rinoa apparently had no idea she had gone crazy and attacked them. It didn't appear that she had been in control of herself at the time and Vaan didn't want to scare her so he just replied, "Hi Rinoa, I'm Vaan. We are all warriors summoned by one of two gods: Cosmos, Goddess of Harmony or Chaos, God of Discord. Both Gods want an unfathomable power called Ultima to themselves. But if Chaos gets it will use it for all the wrong reasons! All of us here now are with Cosmos, but I'm not sure how you got here or who you will ally yourself with but just know your not in your homeworld. Do you remember anything from your world?"

 

Rinoa shook her head and Vaan sighed as he said, " I'm sorry....that stinks. Well see that pink haired girl over there? That's Lightning, she's kinda the leader of our group so let's go talk with her about you 'kay? But she might be a little testy because some stuff just went down."

 

Vaan grabbed Rinoa's hand and pulled her up to Lightning who was deep in thought. "Light? This is Rinoa she just got to World B can she travel with us?"
