Story:

 

Chaos has obtained a strong power and has threatened to destroy the universe if he has the ultimate power, The warriors have teamed up once again to help Cosmos to destroy this evil, Most worlds have been destroyed or ruined by Chaos' power. The Warriors of Cosmos need to stop Chaos from obtaining the ultimate power, the power that holds the whole universe together, they call it the Ultima it has the power to create and destroy a whole universe, it controls time and space. The warriors of Chaos have to stop Cosmos' Warriors obtaining the Ultima so they can hand it over to Chaos so he can absorb the power and use it to take over the universe or destroy it.

 

Rules:

 

1: No taking control of other peoples Characters without permission.

 

2: You can use your own character or a Final Fantasy Character.

 

3: You can choose which side you want to be on Chaos or Cosmos.

 

4: You can't kill other people's characters without permission.

 

5: Don't use bad language, things like Crap or Damn are allowed but no words that are too bad.

 

6: You can be Kingdom Hearts Characters.

{Dr. Cid}

Dr Cid is poring over his notes on Ultima, trying to figure out its location. He had retired to the Draklore Laboratories to do more research. He's still reading when his dear friend returns from spying on the other warriors of Chaos.

"More recruits." came a ghostly voice to Dr. Cid's mind.

Dr. Cid looks up, a little perturbed by this news. While he wants to destroy both Cosmos and Chaos, he also knows that one might win while he is searching for a weapon to kill them. Of the two, Cosmos would be easier to deal with after the war. Chaos winning was not an opinion.

"Any of particular note, Venat?" Dr Cid asks as he rubs his eyes.

"All are of note, Cid." The ghostly Venat answers.

"True." Dr. Cid agrees.

Dr Cid closes his notes and puts them back in a satchel he carries.

"Tell me about them as we get back into the game." He says as he heads back to the conflict.

Zack sat down, it was nearly night time.

"So Serah, any friends you have here?" he asked, she nodded, then mentioned her sister Lightning.

"Yeah, i know her, she can be pretty cold." he said, the girl nodded, he sat back.

"So... what's your story?" he asked laying down.

-meanwhile-

Genesis nodded.

"i suppose that is fascinating." he said lookign at the image, they were your general cosmos do gooders.

"so what kind of trap are we talkign about?" he asked.

Lightning carefully leapt from stone to stone, looking down at the fiery river below her. The Land of Discord certainly wasn't built for trespassers. She landed on the other side, the heat almost unbearable. Lightning wiped her hand across her forehead, her glove stained with sweat. The sound of volcanoes erupting in the distance boomed over the crackle of flames and lava. Despite her goals, she really hoped that Serah wasn't here. Now all she had to worry about were Chaos' minions...

Sec looked over to the electronic lock, the light flashing green. The doors wooshed open, the man stepping inside. That harlequin, Kefka, once used this laboratory to research Espers and magicite. But now it would serve a more noble purpose...

Vicente flipped the World Champion for Genesis to see, "The trap is to make Madman emotionally unstable, so that he takes out his teammates. Then, we take them, hold them for ransom, and Johnny goes off to find Ultima. It's quite simple. I just need to fix up the right manikins for a hero's downfall."

Johnny listened as his comrades talked about their past worlds. It reminded him of the cycle he had been in. Fighting alongside Zack and Lightning before, yet they couldn't remember him. 'If this is the fate they've chosen, I've just gotta go with it,' he thought as he got up and moved toward his allies.

Genesis nodded.

"Alright." he said. Seemed like a sound plan, the only problem is if Madman is capable of killing his allies.

'Puzzling.' he said to himself, he then sighed and looked at Vicante.

"So, what's your story?" he aske dleaning on the wall.

-meanwhile-

Zack sighed and layed down.

"Time for some sleep." he said, closing his eyes.

"But Zack, no matter what happens, I have to protect my honor."

"Madman ruined my life. I was about to revel in success, but fate decided to slap me in the face and he took away my success. I could have been a master of the Keyblade." Vicente paused to pull out his Keyblade, looking at his reflection in the blade once more. "But now, the power of chaos holds everything for me. My master has transcended death itself, and now he waits for the chance to strike down Johnny once and for all. But I will beat him to it. With Ultima, I shall have the power to finally challenge Johnny hand-to-hand and not be afraid of failing once more." Vicente motioned over to his ally. "What about you? Ain't you been somewhere with that spiky-haired jerk before?"

Genesis chuckled.

"Your that afraid of facing him?" he asked, Vicante staired at him.

"I was in soldier, I found out my cells were degradating, so i went AWOL and kidnapped scientists, I got nothing from, them and they cloned an army from my genetic template." he said, Vicante nodded.

"I found out that he held the cells I need, but when I faced him, i lost, the degredation weaked me, and now I found a way to restore myself, and I survived." he said, Vicante nodded.

"I hid underground, ashamed of what I was... but now there's no point in that... chaos found me, and here I am." he said. he stepped away from Vicante, his sword formed in his hand, he looked at it closely. he sighed and stabbed it into the ground.

"And Zack is just along for the ride I suppose, no matter." he said.

"I'm not AFRAID of him!" vicente shot back at Genesis. "It's his power! He's mastered the Keyblade, he can use the x-Blade! You saw what he did to that manikin crowd! He's able to beat me just with a flick of the wrist if he wanted! But if I had his power, I could beat him. All of his power, with my wits, my agility, and his weakness. It's a house of cards waiting for the wind to knock it down." Vicente moved the hair that had found its way in front of his eyes. "What about you? What do you want from Ultima? That 'gift of the goddess' you're always rambling on about?"

Gensesis sighed.

"You'd never understand, being a pawn to destiny." he said, Vicante staired at him.

"forget about it." he said. Genesis looekd to his sword stabbe ditno the ground, he waved his hadn for a short moment, the sword dissipeared. Genesis looekd out.

"Hm, a cattle that's straying from the herd." Genesis said.

-meanwhile-

Zack walked out of camp.

'I need to find water, gotta be sme somewhere.' he thought to himself. HE saw a stream nearby.

Vicente opened a dark portal, "I need you to spring the trap while I finish up a few details. You must destroy these manikns in front of Madman then leave. He'll do the rest." Out of the portal came a copy of Jaina, a copy of a blonde girl, and a copy of a young boy. "I'm sure you can handle it."

{Cr Cid}

Dr Cid claps as he steps into Vicente and Genesis conversation.

"Ah, the new warriors." He says, looking over both Vicente and Genesis with interest.

"Good to see industrious people under Chaos."

He looks over at the copies that Vicente had just called in.

"How good are they?"

Genesis sighed.

"fine." (alright so th eplan is to just kill them in front of madman?) Genesis looked to them. He created a portal.

"Go in, and attack the warriors." he said, they nodded and walked in,t hey re-appeared down there. they attacked Johnny Zack and Serah. after a coupple minutes, Genesis appeared.

"Suprised?" he asked, Madman staired at him, and then Jaina, he demanded he let her go.

"Sorry, not in the plan." he said, he formed his sword and immediatley stabbed the Jaina copy, she colapsed onto the ground, fading. He then looked to the other two and shot two fiery balls at them, they burnt to death, Zacks taired at him.

"You monster!" he yelled, Genesis chuckled.

"Right, but you remember what I said." Genesis said.

"We are... monsters. We have neither dreams nor honor."

Zack stepped back, holding his head.

"Genesis..."

{Balthier}

Balthier hears something and turns to see Johnny, Zack and Serah under attack. Balthier pulls his gun from his back and takes aim. Firing a few shots, he runs to close the distance between him and the battle. He sees Genesis appear.

"We are... monsters. We have neither dreams nor honor." Balthier hears Genesis say.

"Then accept a monsters fate." Balthier challenges and fires a snap shot at Genesis.

Genesis then turned and immediately slashed at Balthier, who fell back. He stepped towards him.

"I have actually... it's nice." he said, he focussed for a moment, suddenly a large black wing tore out on his left side. Genesis smirked.

"Raagh!" Zack yeled summoning his sword andn slashing towards Genesis, whom blocked. Balthier slowly got back up. Manikins appeared to distract the others. Zack slashed towards Genesis, creating sparks. Genesis seemed stronger now, faster atleast.

{Balthier}

Balthier looks around at the manikins, then back at Zack and Genesis. Seeing that Zack seems to have Genesis matched, Balthier turns his attention to keeping the manikins off Zack.

A manikin version of himself shoots at Balthier, but is easily dodged. Balthier fires his gun, getting a kill with each shot, but more manikins keep popping up. He focuses his mind and uses his quickening, Fires of War. Each orb of fire hits and destroys many of the manikins.

Reloading his gun, Balthier looks around at the remaining manikins that still out number him.

Balthier smirks.

"Fighting you lot is not the usual duty of a leading man, but not out of character."

Balthier quickly pulls out a mote of Haste and uses it on himself. With his smirk now a broad grin, Balthier continues to hold off the manikins.

Johnny's eyes once more began to burn with rage as he saw Jaina slowly fade and Cyrstal and the boy burn. Johnny summoned two Keyblades and forged them into the x-Blade. He threw it into the air, then summoned two more Keyblades. He merged them into a dual sided Keyblade. He caught the x-Blade and went after Genesis.

Zack slashed towards Genesis and got into a lock.

"Why?" he asked, Genesis chuckled.

"To release the beast." he said. Johnny slashed towsards him savagely, Genesis blocked, then jumped back. Johnny had that look in his eye.

"And you say you were in soldier?" Genesis asked, he then held his sword out infront of him, Zack looekd at it, it was studded with red matteria, suddenly the sword went bright red, it looked like a litghsaber. Zack slashed towards Grnesis, who, blocked and then slashed towards Johnny, the manikins were destroyed and Balthier shot towards him.

{Balthier}

Balthier aims at Genesis, but stops. Both Zack and Johnny were attacking Genesis, blocking Balthier from making a clean shot. Balthier holsters his gun on his back and pulls two more Haste motes. He throws one to both Zack and Johnny while Balthier launches several fira balls at Genesis to give Johnny and Zack a moment to adjust to the speed.

"Here you go." Balthier calls to his two comrades. "Now, take him down."

Zack nodded and lsashed overhead, Genesis blocked, they clashed for a moment, then Johnny stabbed towards him, genesis ducked and then cut across his side, Johnny fell back, Balthier shot more fireballs towards him, Genesis immediately slashed a couple away and then slashed towards Baltier, who blocked with his gun. Genesis fell back, breathing. Johnny looekd very pissed.

"Your allies let your woman die, shouldn't they take the blame?" he asked, Johnny slowly stopped, then looked at Zack. Genesis chuckled then stepped back, his wing started moving and he rose in the air. he looked to Zack.

"Seek me out... then you'll meet your end." Genesis said, he dissipeared in feathers, one drifted ddown to the ground, Zack caught it.

"Genesis..." Johnny seemed angry, Zack looked to him.

"John, calm down." he said, Johnny slashed towards him.

One of the pawns approaches.

 

Lightning reached the top of the steps, stopping as she arrived. The God of Discord sat before her, two of his hands interlaced before him. He seemed to be reclining to a degree, no emotion on his face. "Chaos." She had never seen him before. It was a truly terrifying sight.

 

"What brings you to my domain, Claire Farron?" Chaos never moved, his voice drifting through the air. Even at this altitude, the heat was still getting to Lightning.

 

"My sister, Serah." The soldier admitted. "This conflict is out of control. You can even consider this a war anymore." The god didn't move, listening. "Chaos. You have to end this."

 

"I intend to." He pushed up from the throne with his lower arms, towering over Lightning. Fire erupted from the mountains with every step he took towards her. Soon they were before each other, Lightning having to look up to see his face. Chaos' eyes burned with hellfire. "And you will assist me in my endeavors."

{Balthier}

Balthier walks over to Zack and Johnny.

"The warriors of Chaos are getting more colorful all time." He quips.

He places a hand on Johnny's shoulder.

"Genesis is trying to provoke you. Make you act without thinking."

Balthier removes his hand and crosses his arms.

"Best to save your emotions when they're not being used against you."

{Dr Cid}

Dr Cid had watched the battle Genesis had played out with some interest at first, but that faded in short order. He left Vicente alone, with out a word.

When he was sure he was alone, he spoke.

"I don't like how this is going." He says in a perturbed tone.

"Indeed." came Venat's reply. "We need to act."

Dr. Cid sighs.

"Agreed." He acknowledges.

"The boy, Hope?" inquires the Occuria.

"No." Dr Cid says firmly. "Controlled by Chaos and we would have to compete with Sec for his trust."

"A warrior of Cosmos then?"

"Best option." Dr Cid says, scratching his chin.

"Ffamran?"

"Too connected. The other warriors of Cosmos might think his emotions are clouding his judgment."

"Then the woman you saved would be our best course of action."

"Yes...what was her name?...Lightning? Yes."

Dr Cid looks thoughtful for a moment, then nods.

"She will do. Any idea where she is, Venat?"

"Yes, she is..."

Venat was silent for a moment.

"...with Chaos."

"What?" Dr Cid asks, incredulous.

"She is with Chaos."

"Blast." Dr Cid says as he nearly runs towards the god of Discord's thrown.

Johnny looked up at Balthier and their eyes connected. He did not say anything. He could not control himself. He flung Balthier away with a swoop of his wing. He looked over at Zack who was once again prepared to fight. He raised the x-Blade above his head and charged power into the blade. It began to glow with unearthly power. Johnny's eyes flared and he unleashed his assault.

Zack immediately jumped back blocking, Genesis got to him.

"John!" he yelled, he didn't listen and slashed towards Zack, who immediately blocked and then slashed back, they were in a quick duel, Zack slashed towards Johnny's legs, Johnny instead jumped over the blade and slashed towards him, Zack ducked but Johnny singed his arm.

"Agh... damn!" Zack yelled, he slashed back. he jumped back, then breathed heavily.

'Genesis... he needs to pay.' he htough tot himself, he then remembered what Genesis said.

"Seek me out to meet your destruction." Zack looked to Johnny.

"Calm down!" he yelled, holding his sword back, he then immediately slashed towards him hard, Johnny was knocked to the ground.

-meanwhile-

Genesis and Vicante watched. Johnny was not doing to well, even with his power.

Lighnting fell to one knee. It felt like she was being burned alive on the inside, like her skin was melting. "What-" She barely grunted, wincing at the searing pain.

 

"You would see the cycle brought to an end, as would the gods." Chaos replied, still standing before her. "The will of Cosmos cannot contain the power of Ultima. Only bedlam may reign supreme."

 

Lightning felt like... like she was being reborn. Torn apart and put back together. She was set ablaze as armor covered her body, a large blade and shield forged in her hands. (OOC: XIII-2) The heat dispersed, the l'Cie pulling herself up from the ground. "What... did you do?"

 

The God of Discord reached out, lightly touching the armor with one finger. The burning sensation returned, only this time focusing on... her brand? She fell back to the gorund, dropping the new sword. What was this?!

 

"You have been gifted a new Focus." Chaos answered. "End this conflict." He was then engulfed in flames, burning away with the searing winds. Lightning knelt at the Edge of Madness, her pain her only company.

{Balthier}

Balhtier lands hard from Johnny's attack. He lies still for a moment, wishing that his new comrades could keep their act together better. He jumps up to his feet. He watches a moment as Zack and Johnny fight, planning what to do. When Zack knocked Johnny, Balthier sprang into action. He kicks Johnny's keyblades away from him and gives Johnny a shove back down when he attempts to rise.

"Control yourself!" Balthier says angrily. "Don't fall for the obvious trap."

{Dr Cid}

Dr Cid arrives in time to see Chaos alter Lightning's brand. Dr Cid silently curses as he hears Lightning's new task. This was a difficulty he had not planned for. But it was not a disaster. Lightning might be more willing to join Dr Cid's plan in light of this. Dr Cid settles in to listen in on the rest of the meeting.
