Posted

Featured Replies

He chose dark over light and since he was SUPPOSED to have the Kingdom Key, he got a dark one.

Does that make sense ? or do I have to explain some other way with more info ?

Hope this helps ^___^ xD

but how he got the dark one

uhm ... malieficent or the darkness gave him it ?

oh thanks dude!!!!!!

No Maleficent Did not give him that Weapon it should be found out in coded i think it was Ansem (Xenhorts heartless) because you notice that ansem has Rikus weapon but double bladed at the end of the game

yeah i guess?

?? I thought the first keyblade that was given to him was from Maleficent? Soul eater or something like that?

And yeah, basically it went to Sora because Riku no longer had the strongest heart on the islands.

Soul Eater wasn't a keyblade. It was just a sword. He gets his keyblade later and it's called Way to Dawn or Road to Dawn or something.

Wait, what, he did? *looking at post above* I also thought Riku got his first keyblade, or whatever it is, from Malificient. Wasn't it some kind of blade that released people's hearts o.O?

Then the second blade he got, I thought it came from Ansem, or somewhere from the darkness xD?

yes he's keyblade is way to dawn soul eater is just a sword look it up

Ok, since you guys are getting confused, let me explain it.

Sora was never supposed to have the Kingdom Key. In fact, he wasn't supposed to wield the Keyblade at all. It was Riku's destiny to wield the Keyblade, not Sora. But then Riku turned to Darkness and because the Kingdom Key belonged to the Realm of Light, it rejected Riku and decided to go to Sora, who did not turn to Darkness. Later, Maleficent created a SWORD not KEYBLADE, called the Soul Eater. It is made of the darkness inside his heart, forged into its sword-like shape by Maleficent's magic.

And during Kingdom Hearts II (Or Kingdom Hearts CoM, not sure), Riku accepts both Light and Darkness, so I guess the Soul Eater became Way of the Dawn, since the Way of the Dawn is based on the Soul Eater. And what's ironic is that the Soul Eater was made of darkness inside Riku's heart, but Nomura states that the Way of the Dawn is a Keyblade of Light, meaning it is from the Realm of Light. Does that make sense to you? Anyways, Riku was finally able to wield a Keyblade due to him accepting the Light which he didn't do in KH1. The Realm of Light made Riku a Keyblade wielder, since Riku did not when he was supposed to wield the Kingdom Key.

Any questions?

My only problem with that is that he was able to use the keyblade even while he was xehanorts heartless in kh2, meaning he wasnt part of the light so much as still a mix of dark and light, eh?

But yeah, i think deathskull's post clears most of it up owo

you are wrong deathskull3000 maleficent never gave him anything it was xemnases heartless who gave him the KEYBLADE

-sighs- I never said Maleficent GAVE him the weapon. I said she CREATED the weapon. And it wasn't the Keyblade. It was just an ordinary blade made from the darkness of Riku's heart. Are you talking about that black fake Keyblade? That has nothing to do what I was talking about. I was only talking about Soul Eater and Way of Dawn.

Before you start telling me that I am wrong, re-read what I wrote so you don't assume that.

Terra gave riku the right to a keyblade through the inheritance ritual. Kingdom key rejected him and went to sora. After com when he chose to walk the path of twilight, the way to dawn chose him. While the way to dawn is a keyblade of light, it is not a normal one. It accepts those who walk in-between instead of those who walk in the light. That's not the kind of keyblade that terra offered him. This explains his ability to take roxass oblivion and use it against him. He could also take soras keyblade and use it against xemnes. Sora can dual wield because roxas is in him. Roxas can wield a keyblade unlike xemnes because vens heart is in him, he can dual wield because xion is in him. Xion can wield because she's a copy of sora.

If you're wondering why vens heart is in him, it's because when sora turned the keyblade of people's hearts against himself. Vens heart stayed in his body or roxas instead of becoming a heartless like sora. To wield a keyblade, you need a heart which is why xemnes couldn't.

Riku got his keyblade becasue Terra passed it on to him. The keyblade that Sora has isn't really his (Kingdom Key), it belongs to Riku. But since Sora's heart was stronger he wield it.

How can you prove that the Kingdom Key is Riku's. Also Sora is supposed to be able to wield Ven's keyblade, but he doesnt. This means that Ven gave him the ability to wield a keyblade.
