Ok, this question have been in my head for a really long time.

 

Where did Ventus come from? I mean he isn't from the Land of Departure or Keyblade Graveyard. And how did Master Xehanort found him?

 

Please, tell me if you know the answer.

My theory is that Ventus comes from Twilight Town and possibly lived in the Old Mansion. The reason for this is because, when Xehanort and the other Ansem Disciples became Nobodies in their own world- Radiant Garden. But Roxas was born in Twilight Town in front of the mansion, probably something to do with Ventus' heart leading him there. Of course, it's only a theory, but Twilight Town seems the most logical world out of those we've seen anyway. Ventus doesn't seem to have a connection to any of the other KH based worlds.

That's not true. There's no evidence of that. It's hinted that Xemnas and the others were born in Radiant Garden in the reports and Naminé was born in Castle Oblivion.

Yeah Naminé. The rest is born at the gates of the old mansion. Xemnas let an organization member there most of the time to recruit new strong nobodies.

I can also see him coming from Destiny Islands, because MX would have picked an apprentice from a place he could relate to.

 

But then one wonders where Terra and Aqua came from too. They had no nostalgia when they went to Destiny Isands or Radiant Gardens, and I don't think that Land Of Departure had a large enough population for them to be born there.

I also like the idea that Ventus comes from Twilight Town. Since that's an inbetween world with a balance of light and darkness, it would make since that MX would look there for a heart that could create the X-blade.

 

I don't know about Destiny Island, though. If the novel's to be believed, the only time MX returned to that world was to leave Ventus there. As for Terra and Aqua, I imagine they would come from worlds we've never been to. I have a feeling Terra's world would be a Japanese like world (Maybe Spirited Away's world. That would be so cool). Aqua's world would have an ocean. And now I think of Ponyo I'm in a Murasaki mood today.

All Nobodies vanish from the Realm of Light upon their creation at the loss of a heart and the creation of a Heartless. They are born in a world in-between the Realms of Light and Darkness, such as Twilight Town or Castle Oblivion. I became familiar with an unusual "entity" while pursuing the truth. It is the soul and body that remain when a being loses its heart. When a Heartless is born, these entities disappear from the realm of light, to be reborn as entirely new beings in a completely different realm.

It is assumed that the realm he refers to is the realm between the light and dark, ie Twilight Town, Castle Oblivion, and there are nobodies at Yen Sid's Tower. There are probably other between worlds we don't know about.

 

As for Ven's home world...I've always wondered exactly how Keyblade training worked. I mean, do they just go to a world, find a kid with a strong heart, and take them away? Are they missed by anyone? Actually, from the way Terra talked to Riku, it soudned exactly like that. I have the feeling Terra might have been an orphan as he refers to Eraqus as his father, but this may just be because they've been together so long.
