My first time making a speculation. Nothing major but it's an interesting thought I had.

I was reading the 358 Days novel and it was talking about Castle Oblivion. I was reading Axel searching for the Room of Awakening and how the floors changed to a persons memories.

And then it struck me. What if they're connected? Axel, nor anyone could ever find the Room of Awakening because the door doesn't physically exist. It exists in a memory. Aqua's memory to be specific. And since she's the only one with the memory of that room, the only way for that door to appear in Castle Oblivion is if Aqua is there.

Maybe I'm right or not. Who knows (well, Nomura does xD). I would like to hear what you guys think and maybe some theories of your own if you have them.

Well, it's just another reason to add that only Aqua knows where Ven is since she is the one who made Castle Oblivion how it is. lol

That sounds very plausable

Talking about ur theory it's good , but let's say that the room really exist , how in the world Aqua gonna remember were the room is after 10 years or maybe 11 !!?? , and for people who r saying that she made Castle Oblivion they r wrong , she turned Land Of Departure Castle by using Master Keeper Keyblade then she searched for a way to exit the castle that's all but she never knew what's inside the castle .

Seems like something Nomura would do.

I don't think Aqua would forget something that important. Even if Ansem was losing his memories in the RoD, Aqua didn't act like she had forgotten anything. I wonder what Castle Oblivion looked like to Aqua. I guess we'll find out in KH3 or something >.<

Hmm. That's a good theory, Oishii. While I agree that The Room Of Awakening is a real place, the way to that place might be locked in memory. Good thinking.
