Posted August 19, 201114 yr I know this is awful to think of but what do you think Square Enix would do if Tetsuya Nomura died...? What do you think fans would to to SE? How would KH change? What would the covers of games look? How much longer would KH games take? What would you do to help or do anything...? Hopefully he lives a very, very long life...
August 19, 201114 yr lets just say Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy won't have the emotional and awesome characters and storyline. that's all i can think off for right now
August 19, 201114 yr Well first of all it would be a giant loos not just for kh or ff but for the gaming world and too me the whole industry . He is one of my favorite game creator and artist . And SE would never be the same EVER !!!!!!!! . Hope he lives for many years . LONG LIVE TETSUYA NOMURA
August 19, 201114 yr If either Tetsuya Nomura or Shigeru Miyamoto died, video games would become useless to me.
August 19, 201114 yr We also have Shinji Hashimoto who develops the story along with Nomura. If either one of them unexpectedly died, I'm sure the other would find a successor worthy of the position. It may not be the same, but SE wouldn't let the franchises die.
August 19, 201114 yr If either Tetsuya Nomura or Shigeru Miyamoto died, video games would become useless to me. wow. I could still game without these people. There tons of great games out there.SE would prperly live with his death but this year they arn't doing that well money wise so who knows
August 19, 201114 yr ^ Like he said, we also have Miyamoto who works on the story with Nomura. I uh... what? Just... what? I know this is awful to think of but what do you think Square Enix would do if Tetsuya Nomura died...? What do you think fans would to to SE? How would KH change? What would the covers of games look? How much longer would KH games take? What would you do to help or do anything...? Hopefully he lives a very, very long life... 1- Are you asking what the fans would do to Square Enix, or something else? You made a small typo but it makes the question very unclear.2- KH would probably stay more or less the same, or perhaps become somewhat simpler without Nomura, or more complex because the replacement overcompensates. 3- The same. People can easily copy his style 4- The game would take about the same time, or less, without Nomura being eccentric and such. 5- Why would they need help, why would they accept a random persons help, And how would anybodies help accomplish anything in this scenario. Seriously, people need to come to grips with the fact that Nomura doesn't do everything for KH. He makes the general direction for the plot, draws some of the characters, and talks with people about what should happen with the rest of the game. He is not the be all end all, and his absence will not severely detract from Kingdom Hearts. Now before you say I'm being insensitive to Nomura, consider that your only concern about his well being a a videogame franchise.
August 20, 201114 yr I uh... what? Just... what? Omg, lol. Thanks for pointing that out. I was talking about Shinji Hashimoto I'll edit that And I agree with Hatok. Nomura is mostly the face of KH development, but he's not the sole responsible person for it. It takes a large team just to work out the plot, characters and scenario. So unless the entire team meets an unfortunate end, his shoes can be filled.
August 20, 201114 yr wow. I could still game without these people. There tons of great games out there.SE would prperly live with his death but this year they arn't doing that well money wise so who knows Well, considering Tetsuya Nomura is in charge of the games in my favorite video game series, and Shigeru Miyamoto is in charge of the OTHER series' I love, if they were both gone, well, what would I do? No doubt they would continue the series', but would they still contain the magic they have without Nomura and Miyamoto? Or would they decrease in quality, and just become trashy games that keep getting shoved out to make money? Who knows? Only time will tell... /end corny post Stupid double post. Delete me please. *deletes you* Happy?
August 20, 201114 yr I'm not really sure what this has to do with Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance.
August 20, 201114 yr I'm not really sure what this has to do with Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance. lol, how true. Isn’t it kinda sad that people are valuing the life and death of a person based on a video game. Shouldn’t grief be expressed for the person himself, not the game he made? I guiltily admit that I thought this same thought during the Japanese earthquakes in March…

Shouldn’t grief be expressed for the person himself, not the game he made? I guiltily admit that I thought this same thought during the Japanese earthquakes in March… It's better than nothing. Without KH, none of us would care about Nomura at all.
