August 27, 201114 yr CoM is THE most important non-numbered game in the franchise. Every other game revolves around it.
August 27, 201114 yr No, generally speaking, you do not need the GBA CoM if you have the PS2 re:CoM as it is the same game with better graphics. If, however, you are stuck in any other country besides Japan and the U.S. where re:CoM was not released and you don't have a modded PS2 to play a disk from another region: Yeah, you should consider playing the old GBA version.

August 27, 201114 yr I just read the manga I own both the versions but I just don't do well with the card system so I haven't beaten them. I should try again this winter holiday, though...

January 12, 201213 yr Kingdom Hearts CoM is a spin off so It doesn't really matter but if you don't understand something in the series then you might find out from it or other spin offs. Kingdom Hearts 2 covers up CoM a bit but later games may not,,,,
