We've already heard the 'World buried in sleep' and 'Realm of Sleep' crap so I won't linger completely on this.

 

This theory/epiphany came to me this morning while I was half-asleep myself.

 

So we all know both boys are the taking the M.O.M exam in the Realm of Sleep. Maybe one of the reasons Yen Sid had this done is because through the Realm of Sleep, it is easier to summon people that don't truly exist. We all know that as a puppet, Xion has no existence yet there is knowledge of her anyhow. And Nobodies don't really exist at all yet they can still be. So while they are incorporeal in reality, they still have a forming substance in the world of sleep. So maybe, as Sora takes the Mark of Mastery Exam, Yen Sid will ask Sora to concentrate on the presences in his heart and will involuntarily summon Roxas and Xion and even Naminé and Axel who are both deeply connected to him.

 

Once Sora has completed the M.O.M exam, Yen Sid will command Sora, Riku, Roxas, Xion, Axel and Naminé to wake up.

 

And because the last four don't have bodies in the real world, bodies will be created for them when they "wake up", finally becoming real human beings. After all, Xion and Roxas are two Keyblade wielders. You need all the help you can get to defeat Xehanort. And after this is done, maybe Riku and Sora will go rescue Aqua and Ventus.

 

Maybe this theory needs a little more developing but doesn't it seem like the sort of whacked out thing Nomura would come up with to bring these characters back?

 

As for Terra, I'm thinking that he will rescued by the end of Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance or in Kingdom Hearts III.

I thought about that too. But I didn't want to say anything 'cause I was pretty sure a bunch of people would be, like, "NO! THAT'S NOT RIGHT! KAIRI'S NOT A REAL KEYBLADE WIELDER SO HOW COULD NAMINÉ POSSIBLY BE?!" I'm one of those people who believe that Kairi is a Keyblade wielder and Naminé has the potential to be. But I didn't want to start an argument over that.

Terra theory time. What if Terra's heart unlatched from Xehanort but Xehanort still had control of his body. Terra's heart could possibly latch onto the lingering sediment since the sediment could be a body and has a mind identical to Terra's. So who agree's?

Poor Kairi and Aqua they're left alone until everyone comes back to get them...well kairi has Wakka, Tidus and S...forgot her name while Aqua has Ansem as company but still.

Its possible, but highly unlikely in regards to the attaching to the LS. The LS was formed from his will that merged with his Armor. His armor cannot feel and thus it would be a horrible host for a heart since it could not be a body

Probably in Kingdom Hearts III. It is assumed that Terra's body is under Xehanort's control and that thus, in order for there to Be a KHIII, Terra could not be freed from Xehanorts control too early

How can they bring Roxas back? He merged back with Sora in part two, the same with Namine and Kairi. Also, I wouldn't consider Xion a real keyblade weilder because she was basically made to leech off of Roxas memories to gain his ability. As for Axel, I think his original form can comeback since his Nobody was destroyed. Now all thats left to ask is, Did we ever fight his heartless? If yes, that means he was brought back and is awaiting to make an appearance. If no, then we will fight his heartless in future games and open up the door to Lea's resurrection. Those are my two cents..

For that to be true though, a keyblade warrior, most likely either Sora or Mickey would have had to defeat his heartless before his nobody, otherwise he won't return
