Hello guys! I've decided to create this fanfic about Kairi's life -- although you'll find some content that is shown in the original story. This is my first Fanfic, so I hope you enjoy it! I'll update it as soon as I can

 

It'd be cool to read this while hearing Kairi's theme ~~

 

A girl named Kairi was born. She resided in a town named Radiant Garden, with her grandmother, whose duty was to take care of her little granddaughter. In the town, no one knew about what had happened with Kairi’s parents. They just knew that she lived with her Grandmother. Kairi had pretty blue eyes, and red hair. As a baby, she was very pretty, but not tall. She was very loved by her Grandmother, who couldn’t spend one second without her.

 

As she was getting older, she began to wear a while dress, which had some violet things that reassembled the letter “X”. She also wore white shoes, which had a little of pink and violet on it. She also used a white necklace, and her hair had grown -- it was around her neck. Kairi’s Grandma told her many stories, but Kairi had a favorite one : the one about light and darkness.

 

According to the story, the world was once only full of light. In that time, people loved the light. However, as time went on, people began to fight for it, because they wanted to keep it only to themselves. And, as a consequence of that, darkness was born in people’s hears. The darkness spread very quickly, and it managed to swallow people’s hearts, and even the light itself. Then, the world disappeared, but the Light would not be so easily destroyed, and so its fragments remained in the children’s hearts. Thanks to that, the World was rebuilt. But, the worlds are divided from each other, since the true light is still sleeping deep within the darkness.

 

With that story, Kairi’s Grandma wanted to tell her that she must not be frightened of the darkness, because just by believing in the Light, you will be safe from the darkness. Kairi enjoyed that story so much that she kept asking her grandma to tell it again and again.

 

Kairi is kind, gentle and respectful. She is one of the Seven Princesses of Heart, whose hearts are pure light, without a single flick of darkness. She has a strong personality, and what she likes the most to do is spend time picking flowers from the gardens around the town where she lives.

 

At the age of four, Kairi had just picked some flowers from the Garden near Ansem’s Castle, when she was attacked by some weird creatures named “Unversed”. Strangely, however, she had an ability of driving these creatures away. Frightened, Kairi began to scream, when suddenly a girl, who appeared to have eighteen years, and was carrying a weapon that reassembled a Key, appeared to rescue her. The girl seemed not to be ready to fight that big number of creatures, but thankfully, a mouse with a weapon like hers appeared to help. The girl took Kairi to a safe place, but then she immediately returned to help the Mouse.

 

It took a few minutes, but the two of them were able to destroy the creatures that were frightening the little Kairi. The Mouse was able to talk, and it told both Kairi and the girl his name -- it was Mickey. He also spoke about a man named Yen Sid, but suddenly, something began to shine, and Mickey just disappeared. Before doing, however, he said that he would meet them again soon.

 

So, now that there were only Kairi and the other girl, Kairi decided to give the flowers she had picked to her, as a symbol of how grateful she was. The other girl thanked her, and said her name was Aqua. However, just then, Kairi’s Grandma just arrived and screamed Kairi’s name. However, Aqua asked Kairi to stay just one more minute, and then she touched Kairi’s necklace, saying that she had just cast a spell on it. The spell would ensure that wherever Kairi was in danger, her own light would lead her to someone who was able to keep her safe.

 

As soon as Kairi approached her Grandmother, she asked her to tell her favorite story once more. And, loving her as much as she did, she began to tell the story one more time.

 

Kairi continued doing what she always did, like picking up flowers from the gardens near the Castle, and her life remained the same until the next year, when something very bad happened in the town she lived. In one day, she was collecting flowers, when she felt that danger was near, and her necklace began to shine. Frightened, she ran to her house as fast as she could in search of her beloved Grandmother, but she could not find her. And, to make the situation worse, when she left her house, she looked at the sky, and noticed that it was black, and not blue.

 

Then, she began to cry while running to Ansem’s Castle. However, as soon as she got there, she was kidnapped by Braig, one of Ansem’s apprentices. Kairi asked him where Ansem was, and he answered that Ansem had left their world, which was his responsibility to take care of (when in reality, Ansem had been made prisoner in the depths of the castle). He also told her that he could bring her to somewhere safe, and so he entered inside the castle with her.

 

Kairi had never entered inside the castle. It was so beautiful. But Kairi did not have time to spend looking at the rooms of the castle, because Braig held her hand and began to run to the direction of the Laboratory.

Dude, the third chapter appeared in the same moment I came to look if you updated it! And it's still getting really good!

Ansem the Wise was so different from what he used to be. Now, he had an even longer beard, his physical state was really terrible. He didn’t look like the one he used to be one year ago, when he was still in command of the city. Kairi was a little afraid of asking anything to him at first, but much to her surprise, Ansem was the one who began the conversation.

 

Ansem first only asked what was the girl’s name, and why she had been taken to this prison, since the normal people was only being lab rats for his crazies apprentices. Kairi just said her name, and Ansem almost collapsed. However, he quickly recovered and asked the girl to continue telling him more. So, Kairi said she had heard that a man named “Xehanort” had a theory that she was one of some kind of Princesses of the Pure Hearts. After hearing that, Ansem felt angrier than ever before, because Xehanort had stolen his secret research, which talked about these Princesses and the existence of other Worlds.

 

Again, he asked her to continue speaking. Kairi then told him that this man said he is going to do a lot of experiments on her to see if his theory was right or not, and so Ansem began to angrily crack his knuckles. Kairi noticed that something was wrong, because at least in the few times she had seen Ansem, he seemed to be a calm, polite and quiet man, unlike what he was appearing to be now.

 

Ansem then decided to tell his story to the little girl. First, he talked about two years ago, when he had begun his more important researches. His true goal was to find a way to keep Radiant Garden protected from any possible threat. What made Ansem began his search was the fact that in a day, a strange man suddenly appeared in the Central Square of the town. Ansem knew that this man wasn’t from the town, and that he hadn’t crossed any of the city’s borders. So, according to his thoughts, there should be another to get to the city, and not only to it, to any place in the World.

 

He also told Kairi that he always liked to study. He was very recognized by his knowledge, but the arrival of that man just kept he too curious to just accept it and forget it. When the man arrived, he seemed to have lost his memories, and only knew a name : Xehanort. Then, Ansem decided to call him that name from that time on. And, as the man didn’t have any place to live and didn’t know from where he had came, Ansem decided to make him one of his Apprentices. He thought that it’d be only temporary, and Xehanort would slowly recover his memories.

 

So, some days after he let Xehanort be his newest apprentice, Ansem decided to began studying his new apprentice. First, he conducted some experiments on his head, in order to try to find if it was possible to recover the man’s memory. The experiments proved that there was a high chance of Xehanort recover his memories, but that it’d take a lot of time. Then, in a day, Xehanort himself proposed Ansem to begin a new research : He wanted to know everything about the Heart. As Ansem wasn’t really doing anything at that moment, he decided to accept Xehanort’s suggestion.

 

Even then was very excited with this new idea, because he wanted to do a lot of experiments and create a lot of new things based on it. One day, Braig asked Xehanort if his memories had returned, but he didn’t got any answer from his old friend. In the other side, Ienzo heard Braig asking that to Xehanort, and so he, who was with Ansem at the moment, looked at Braig and Xehanort. Ansem also looked as well, and after that day, Ansem began to think that there was a secret between these two. So, after one year of research, Ansem called Xehanort to have a conversation.

 

Xehanort had recovered a part of his memories, but the most important one, about the Keyblade, hadn’t returned yet. Ansem asked Xehanort if his memories had returned, but his apprentice replied that not even a small fragment of them had returned. However, Ansem did not believe in his Apprentice, and so he asked Even to make something that could make Xehanort sleep for some hours, and once he woke up, he wouldn’t know that he had been poisoned. Even asked what was Ansem’s goal with that, but Ansem said that Even would find it out later -- if they managed to make the plan following exactly everything that they had carefully planned.

 

So, in one day, Even managed to give a poisoned hot dog to Xehanort, who soon fell unconscious on the ground. Then, Ansem, with Dilan’s help, brought Xehanort’s body to his secret Laboratory. Alone, he conducted a small, but simple experiment on Xehanort. He used a machine that asks questions to the person’s mind, who has to answer only the truth. First, he asked “Is your name Xehanort?”, and it appeared a yes. Then, he asked “Have you recovered your memories 100%?”, and it appeared no. As the third question, he asked “Do you have any secret goal by wanting to continue the research of the Heart?”, and it appeared a yes. “Are you and Braig secretly planning something?”, and it appeared a yes. Ansem was so surprised, and angry at the same time -- he had taken the man as one of his Apprentices, and what did he do? He was secretly betraying him. Then, Ansem put Xehanort’s body on his room, where he was before being poisoned.

 

From this day on, Ansem could never trust on Xehanort again. As his first measurement against Xehanort, he ordered him to immediately stop his research about the Heart. Xehanort noticed that something was strange with his Master, and so he decided to secretly continue to carry on his experiments, with Braig’s help.

This fanfic is pretty well written, but there are some things that don't make sense to me. For instance, that's not how Ansem found out about Xehanort and his experiments at all. I understand this is a fanfic, so there are some fan elements to it, but that just doesn't fit imo. But that still doesn't make this bad.

just to finish Ansem's story to Kairi ~~

 

With time, Ansem noticed that his other apprentices were also acting weirdly. He quickly began to think that Xehanort had managed to convince them to help him with his plans. One day, Ansem was talking with a newcomer named Mickey. He had come to Ansem’s town to ask him some questions, since Ansem’s knowledge was worldwide. Yen Sid was the one who instructed his apprentice to go search for the Wise man.

 

They were having a fascinating conversation when, suddenly, Xehanort appeared and asked Ansem if he could restart his research about the Heart. But, he got a straight “No” from Ansem, who was almost expelling his Apprentice from his castle. He just couldn’t bear to live with Xehanort anymore. During his conversation with Mickey, he found out about the Keyblade, the existence of other Worlds, and about the Guimmi Ship.

 

As soon as his newest friend left the town, Ansem went to his secret Laboratory to think a bit. Then, he decided to expel Xehanort from his city in the next month, after a party that celebrates the building of the city. He could no longer allow that traitor to be around his castle. Who could know what he was up to. What if Xehanort had already something planned, just in case his master would expel him?

 

Then, the days were passing, and Ansem noticed that his relationship with his other Apprentices was getting slowly worse and worse. They almost didn’t say anything to their master anymore. Even his adopted son, Ienzo, didn’t spend almost any time with him. Something really strange was going on.

 

The day for the party finally arrived. But something was very wrong. No one had come to it, and Ansem was alone in the room. It was all a trap well-planned by Xehanort and his new comrades. They used a weapon that temporary petrifies the person, and with Ansem petrified, they took him to a prison they had recently built, near Ansem’s secret Laboratory.

 

When the weapon’s effect had ended, Ansem could finally speak again. He had been fooled by his own Apprentices. He could never trust someone again. His happiness was gone -- if not forever, for until he could get his revenge.

 

He was in that prison for some months now. With Ansem gone, his Apprentices began to kidnap people and do experiments on them. They were unstoppable now. But Ansem’s memory wasn’t completely right, a part of the story he told Kairi wasn’t the truth. However, there was nothing he could do, so he had to create that part, and not keep the little girl curious about the story.

 

Kairi was completely shocked. And she didn’t know that Ansem had lied in a certain part. The man was almost completely mad, after staying there for so long... and only with the feelings of seeking revenge. Then, Ansem told Kairi that he was the one who came up with the theory that she was one of the Princesses of Heart, and not Xehanort. This was too much for Kairi -- who, after saying good night to Ansem, decided to sleep in order to refresh her little head.

I like. I like having Ansem around.

Poor child.

I feel bad for Kairi now........

It's getting better and better and you put Ienzo in there again. Zexion is uber happy now And so am I. But, honestly, the story would still be great, even if he wasn't in it. It's very interesting. Keep up the good work brother

In the next day, Kairi was woken by a noise of the cell right next to hers opening. She opened her eyes a bit, but did not do any movement that could allows Braig to notice her. She then saw two boys, which were apparently sleeping. One of them had red spike hair, and the other one had blue long hair. From what it looked like, it appeared that they were in the same situation as Kairi -- they have been forced to go there.

 

As soon as Braig left the prison, Kairi tried to wake up the boys, but unfortunately, they seem to be under the effect of some posion, which forced them to sleep for a long time. Kairi then looked to the other side, where Ansem the Wise was, like the two boys, was still asleep. The little girl then held her necklace and began to pray for a miracle -- or for anything that could just take her out of there and save her life.

 

However, when Kairi heard a noise, which she could easily define that these were made by people heading to the prison, she had to stop praying, and pretend once again that she was still sleeping. Moments later, she recognized the voices, they were Braig’s and Xehanort’s. They went there just to observe how their guests were doing.

 

First, they looked at the person they hated the most, Ansem the Wise. Xehanort even laughed for a moment, because he was so happy to see that the man who forced him to stop his research, and also the man who he had been jealous since he arrived in Radiant Garden, was now just a stupid, waiting for the death. In Xehanort’s point of view, with Ansem out of attack, there was nobody else that could threat his plans.

 

Next, he looked at Kairi, and then asked Braig about what were his opinions about her. Braig said that, since he was not a scientist like Even, he did not know if the girl was really a Princess of Light or not. Xehanort laughed once again, and then directed his eyes to the other cell, the one that had the two new boys. Braig asked who were them, and why did Xehanort want them.

 

Xehanort then replied that their names were Lea and Ïsa. He discovered that these boys had been wanting to invade the castle since the last year, and managed to catch them. He was still uncertain about what he was going to do with them, but if new experiments would be created, the boys would surely be the guinea pigs.  

 

Before leaving the prison, Xehanort looked once again to Kairi. He had a secret and particular interest with the little girl. Braig then said the password and both of them left the prison. Kairi then managed to awake the two boys, and so they introduced themselves.

 

After telling their names, which Kairi alreayd knew, but pretended she did not, Kairi asked how had them gotten there. The one with red hair explained that they were trying to sneak on the castle, from the backdoor, but a man with while hair found them, and gave them something to eat -- but, as soon as they ate it, they fainted, and did not remember anything else. Next, it was Ansem’s time to wake up.

 

He then said hello to the boys, and asked them how was the city now. The answer could not be worse. Isa said that the streets are currently empty, and all the shops have closed its doors. It’s very rare to see a person or two walking normally in the city. Lea also completed his friend’s answer, saying that he was not sure about what had happened to the people that is currently missing.

 

Ansem then had his wish for vengeance more than anything now. He was so sad because his own apprentices had ruined the city he controlled with so much care and love. Their conversation was interrupted by Dilan, who had come to bring the prisoner’s lunch. The food was terrible, but there was nothing else to eat, so they had no option but to eat it.
