Do you think BBS vol2 is a real game?

 

There has been alot of talk lately on this subject, some are saying that because there was nothing about it at TGS that it may not actually be a game. Personally, I think they're just waiting until the last moment and then surprise us with it. For all we know, it could be the 10th anniversary surprise. What do you guys think?

I'm not sure. One it seems to be a game, the other not. I hope it is actually but I wouldn't be surprised if it weren't.

After all, if 3D's coming out Spring 2012, they'll need another game between then and KH3. I mean, they're still not done with Versus, and haven't started KH3. I, for one, think it's the 2013 game (if we're going by the one game a year idea) or the Anniversary surprise.

 

Hopefully we'll hear something at Jump Festa. Do we know if there will be a Square-Enix 1st Production Department Premier this year?

 

And this is a bit off topic, but where do we usually get KH news? I know E3, TGS, Jump Festa, and we got some last year from the Premier thing, but anywhere else? I could have sworn I heard Re: Coded was at Comic Con one year...

I don't know.......they've kept quiet about the FM's secret ending for almost a year now, and I don't rememeber SE ever keeping quiet on a secret ending for that long. @_@

I'm not sure. Honestly though, I think that since Nomura-san said that there are "other unannounced titles at this time", that could be implying that he is going to surprise us with something. He is, after all, a man with many tricks up his sleeve.

I used to think so. But without any confirmation, I'm starting to doubt. But with the 10th anniversary, you got me thinking Azure Flame.

i hope it is a game, but it probably wont be. if anything, it might be like a Final Fantasy Advent Children kind of thing

while I'm not sure if BBS vol2 is a real game or not, im going with what Azure flame said, square enix will possibly try 2 surprise us & confirm BBS vol2 as an offical game later on in the future thats kinda what Square Enix always dose. also, im pretty sure most of us r expecting the serect ending in KH3d 2 b about KH3, but I would'nt be surpprised if square enix gave us another BBS vol2 trailer instead since they like 2 mess with our heads that way. as for the 10th anniversery, if I remember correctly, Numora said that it's hard 4 new comers to understand the story of KH (also I think he said he wants to get more ppl to like KH) so he's thinking about remaking one of the KH titles in HD, therefor, I think we can expect 2 play an HD remake of one of the KH games. I know it's a long shot since he said he's thinking about it but as we all know Tetsuya is Mastermind at these kind of things.

Do we have a game called Another Side, Another Story? Deep Dive? Mmm, no. That isn't to say those titles weren't without meaning. "Birth by Sleep Vol.2" does have meaning: It means the events directly following Birth by Sleep will finally be shown in their proper sequential setting.

 

However.... /theory time: Given what actually takes place in that video, with time rewinding and then happening slightly differently, coupled with Terra's random flashfowards, (and Mysterious Figure who, arguably, isn't canon,) I get the feeling that the Birth by Sleep we saw was not the actual, real version of history and that Xehanort changed one small nearly insignificant detail that would change things drastically in the future, but not change any of his actual plans. My money is on Mickey's level of involvement being the deciding factor that would change history. So, to me, Birth by Sleep Vol.2 could also imply we'll find out what what actually happened. =/ Sorry, it's all just a feeling I've got - Birth by Sleep that we played didn't happen the way it was supposed to. It was uncanny.

I don't know. I'm concerned about what will be in DDD besides the Master Shounin Shiken, since it won't take place for the whole game.

im not really sure but im sure it will be a game to explain what has all happend before the first KH game and after BbS im sure if they do make a BbSV2 it will be the game about The Kings absence because i remember hearing that nomura wanted to have games about roxas days in the orgonization (days) Xhanorts past (BbS) the Kings absence and Rikus absence. i dont know if he wants to release those before KH3 but if he dose we could be looking at two more years untill KH3 but i can we waited this long and besides we get a new game every year so you cant complain about that

i'm more on the not so sure side or its not a game because nomura has had some interviews since that secret ending in bbsfm but no one in those interviews has asked him about they just keep talking about kh3d and ff versus 13 they wont even question him about the bbsfm secret ending but maybe he will wait to say something about bbsv2 becuase he said kh3d will be the last kh game made before kh3 and kh3 probably wont be done until 2015 2016 so he might say something about bbsv2 winter 2012 or some where in 2013

I have doubted it being a game since I first saw the secret ending. And if it is a game, it won't be called "Birth by Sleep volume 2" (or at least, it shouldn't. That sounds like a terrible name.) Deep Dive and Another Side, Another Story come to mind.

 

Heck, for all we know, DDD might explain the events hinted at in the secret ending. Which brings me to another point, we don't know. We know nothing besides what was shown in the secret ending, and we have heard absolutely nothing at all about a new Kingdom Hearts game being developed besides DDD. So until I can get some form of conclusive evidence from Square Enix or Nomura himself, then I just don't think there is enough evidence to say that it is/will be a game.

I'm thinking it has to be the mystery game. Here's something from the Re: Coded Ultimania that seems to point at it.

 

(Interviewer) "When we were discussing in the Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Ultimania, you mentioned that there were 2 new Kingdom Hearts titles other than Kingdom Hearts III coming up. One coming out in 2010, and one more being announced in 2011. It seems the title releasing in 2010 was Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded, but what about the other one? Were you referring to Kingdom Hearts 3D or Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix?"

 

Nomura: "No, at the time of that interview I intended to hint toward a different project. However, focusing my energy on Kingdom Hearts 3D and Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix comes first. Since a new Secret Episode is revealed in the Birth By Sleep Final Mix, I definitely want it to be seen. I think when you see it you’ll be excited for future developments."

 

He definitely seems to be implying there's another game, and that the Secret Episode ties into it. From this quote, it just seems like they're too busy to announce it and/or produce it fully at the moment.

 

But I definitely think it's a game. KH1 and KH1FM hinted at KH2 (or Days depending on how you look at it). KH2 and KH2FM hinted at BbS. And Re: Coded's secret ending hinted at 3D. Nomura even said there'd be a secret ending in 3D to hint at KH3. I doubt they'll break the tradition and not have BbSFM's Secret Ending hinting at something.

I'm not so sure about it, and I'm not holding my breath. But that would rock if it actually was a game!
