Chain of Memories or Re:coded?

Posted

So now that I'm pretty much done with Days (I can never beat that dang Ruler of the Sky and I've watched every cutscene anyways), I'm looking for a new KH game to play. Unfortunately, I don't have a PS2 or PSP, so that rules out KH, KHII, KHRe:CoM and BBS. So all there's left is the GBA version of CoM and Re:coded. I know what happens in both of them, hehe, so I wouldn't be lost and stuff. Which has the better gameplay and stuff and... yeah.

Hmm...Chain of memories! You can be Riku too! Although Re:Coded would definately be easier, and its in 3D. So uh...yeah I'm helpful lol. Personally, Re:Coded was over far too quickly, and Chain of Memories has a more interesting plotline even if you've already seen it. Plus it has Organization XIII. But the 2D can be annoying. So...yeah I'm helpful lol

CoM. I loved that game. Has an awesome storyline. Re:coded, I honestly didnt like at all. And after CoM you can play as Riku <3xD

CoM is good on the PS2, but it's pretty much pre-historic for the GBA. Re:Coded is better. Has better graphics, gameplay, and a bunch of other shiz.

Chain of memories. it seemed like it was better on gba because it was more classic.

If you're going for gameplay, Re:Coded. The card system in CoM is just frustrating. But the story in CoM is better (but you probably know that already :P)

tutti frutti. I would go for CoM, mostly because I found the plot a lot better. Also, if you can get past the card battle/room feature, you can pretty much customize your deck of cards to match your own personal gameplay(magic, melee, summon, etc.) The only difference with re:com is the voice acting, 3D graphics and you can fight Zexion (more so if you're like a handful of us that don't have KH2FM) I didn't really like re:coded overall, so I can't really think of a good thing to say about game outside of graphics and voice acting.

CoM has awesome pixels.

CoM. Even though I hated it on the GBA (never even beat ONE world...), it has a much better storyline than Re:coded. (Then again, I've never played Re:coded o_o) But yeah, it's a shame you can't get Re:CoM. That game might actually be my favorite xD.

Like others have said, if you like gameplay: Re:Coded. If you care about story: CoM. Although if you haven't played 1 or 2, maybe Coded is a better option. Either way, you're totally missing out, the PS2/PSP titles are waaaaaaaaaaay better. Can't you get a used PS2 of the internet somewhere?

Would you prefer a Card based system or a Command Deck?

Re:coded of course has superior graphics and quality. And it has voice acting.

Chain of Memories' story line is more important.
