Okay I was at Another Anime Convention 2011 on Saturday and I met Quinton Flynn, voice of Axel/Lea and asked him a few questions and so I was like, "Will Axel or Lea make an appearance in Dream Drop Distance?" Quinton says, "Well, I never heard about it, let's keep our fingers crossed." The game is about 70-75% complete and he hasn't heard about it so... probably no.

There is actually no reason to have Axel/Lea in Dream Drop Distance, from what I have heard of the story. KH3, on the other hand, will probably have a prominent piece on the red haired rogue.

 

I think the only way he will show up is maybe in the intro or end credits. Other than that I highly doubt he will be in it at all. And I still doubt that he will be in the intro or end credits. He doesn't fit in with the game.

it's still a bit early to foresee anything, don't you think?

 

But yeah, I don't know where Axel could fit in the story of KH3D.

Well, I meant that they find a way into the Realm of Darkness so they can rescue Aqua. And then take her with them so she can bring them to Ven (remember, I don't think Organization XIII could find him when they searched the castle), and he can wake up.

I wonder, has there been any other people who have tried to contact the American VA's? They may only be 70-75% through the game, but that doesn't mean they don't have a script finalized.

 

Square doesn't have a very good track record with KH games. To date, they've only started localizing after the game is ready to be released in Japan.

I wish it got the Final Fantasy treatment...
