Well honestly I like this idea. I mean I'd take a Sony version of a game over a Ninetendo version game 10 out of 10 times, granted this is only based on games that have come out for both consoles but still.

 

Also, there has been a few people begging for Sora to be in Super Smash Bros(never really understood that) but hey, here's there chance.

Here are the rumored characters that will appear.

 

The game plays on a 2D plane according to Paul Gale and will feature a lot of the characters we’ve come to love on the Playstation console such as: Kratos, Sly Cooper, Nathan Drake, Fat Princess, Parappa, Sweet Tooth, and Rico (Killzone). I’d also expect to see Cole from Infamous, Jak and Daxter, Ratchet and Clank, Solid Snake and hopefully Crash Bandicoot.

Im not argueing or anything but when did they copy nintendo

2nd i'd rather play a sony game rather then a nintendo game any day nintendo is dieing sony is still going strong

3rd snake is from a sony game not nintendo yet hes in brawl (yeah he has some nintendo games but the most are on play station)

lastly its only a rumor besides if they do the game right unlike that cartoon network game were they forgot all the fun it should be a good game

also add assassins creed (the main characters name slips my mind)

This makes what? The 8th time sony has ripped off nintendo?

To be fair to Sony (for certain measures of the term fair) Smash Bros. was more or less the Genre launcher (but probably not originator) for the Mascot Fighter. It's more or less the equivalent of calling an FPS a Doom clone, especially if you don't know what the game is like.

 

But aside from that, if that game ever comes to fruition, it'll be a cold day in the underworld before that would get a re-release. Licensing would be a nightmare.
