I'm so excited for Thanksgiving! I'm thankful for my ever loving, caring and supportive family, my awesome friends who are always there for me, my job that I love, my amazing college education, my new truck, and my new life in Myrtle Beach

 

I'm going to be making Thanksgiving dinner again. I've made it for 3 years in a row now. This year Im making Rosemary and Sage Turkey stuffed with apples and onions (for aromatic purposes), Homemade Cranberry Stuffing, Greens and Beans (escarole with red kidney beans, garlic and a touch of olive oil. Its a traditional Italian side dish in my family at Holidays lol Its so good!!), Cranberry Sauce and for dessert Im making a Homemade Pumpkin Cheesecake with Whipped Cream!

 

What are you guys having and what are you thankful for??

I'm thankful for my supportive family and friends, an awesome, on-going education, and merciful professors! I'm excited for Thanksgiving, too! I'm going to watch the entire Star Wars saga on Blu-Ray and have lots of yummy food (which I'll hopefully be helping to make)! ^.^

 

The dinner you're going to make sounds exquisite, waytothexdawnx!! Homemade pumpkin cheesecake all the way!!!! I love it soooo much, and hopefully we'll also be making it for Thanksgiving.

well one thing is for sure ur are making me hungry with that decription!

I'm thankful for my family, that I will finish this semester with good grades (hopefully ^^), that I have a home, food, and opportunities for the future, for my health and my safety. And the superficial part of me is thankful for KH, my computer, my game consoles, and my kindle

 

This year Thanksgiving is turning into a dilemma A distant relative on my mom's side is sick and this will probably be her last Thanksgiving. We usually have Thanksgiving at my grandma's but she is having Thanksgiving at this relative's. My parents are talking about going to a restuarant, but I really don't want to do that! It'll ruin my birthday. Only if they sing Happy Birthday and give me a cake will I except this. But my sister and I are thinking that when they come back from vacation we'll ask if we can have it at home if we prepare everything ourselves. I hope the $30 per person will give my dad such shock that he'll agree.

Im thankful for My Brothers and Sisters, who I would be dead (literally) with out, My parents who taught me manners, Kingdom hearts, which taught me the power of friendship, my writing talents, My teachers, who taught me everything that I needed to know, and much much much more.

This year, we are having Turkey (lol this is actually special. We never have turkey. usually we have brisket or something.) non-stuffed. Stuffing/dressing *what ever you call it*, Cranberry sauce, Mashed PotaDOS, with a side of cake, which may or may not be a lie. Seriously, Dad said we will have cake, but mom said no. Lol, I love it when Portal memes work with life . I am thankful for that as well. You know, Memes.

I'm thankful for the gift of life. I live, eat, and breathe everyday and love every minute of it.

 

My family doesn't really cook traditional American thanksgiving dinners, it's more of a fusion I would say. We make a turkey, we make a ham, but everything else is cultural. I'll be making my own version of flan, as well as my own version of jocón. It's a dish from my mom's side of the family, basically I'll make making a spicy green sauce and simmering some turkey in it. I might also bake something, idk what though. Maybe a cheesecake.
