Normally, I'm not content with the games the system has or with the price. :c

I haven't, but I got one (the 3DS) a little over a month after launch. I might get the Wii U on launch day though.

When I was younger, since my family never had a lot of money, I would usually get a game console when the next gen was close to releasing. It was like that for my nintendo 64, gameboys I've had including the DS, and my ps2. My 3DS is the first system I've bought within a year of its release (though I bought it when the price dropped). I still believe that even if I can afford it at launch, it's better to wait. It pays to be patient ^^

The day a KH game is a launch title, is the day I'll buy a console on day 1. xDD

I brought my Nintendo 3DS shortly after the big worldwide price drop.

No. I think I bought my xbox a couple weeks after it came out.

Super Nintendo on launch week. Nintendo 64, Game Boy Color, Gamecube, Game Boy Advance, Nintendo DS, and Nintendo Wii on launch day.

No. All my systems have been at least a year. Still haven't bought a PS3 (too expensive still) and bought a 3ds after the price drop which was on my brothers birthday (2 after mine) so it was like an extra present

I get games on their launch date all the time, but never a console.

 

(Well, I got the Birth by Sleep bundle on its release day, but I'm not counting that. My old PSP broke, so the PSP's not "new" to me.)

I got both the DSi and 3DS something like 2 weeks after they were released but see that's cause they were for my birthday which is near the end of the April and well the systems were released at the start of the month, but maybe my mom bought them on launch day... I haven't a clue... I personally have never bought a system on launch day and I've only bought one system (the rest were gifts) which was the psp and I'm sure one or two people can guess why I bought a psp

Never. I tend to wait until I make a decision.

I bought the 3DS at launch, but that's the only one. I'm actually quite surprised my parents even let me.

The 3DS is my first "day one launch" buy.

I've never bought a console on its launch date. Even if I know there's going to be a game I like made for that console, I usually wait until the price drops and/or a better model comes out.

No I wait till around christmas odds are you going to find them on sale around then and thats on top of any price drops between then.
