Is anybody else tired of hearing "The new Devil May Cry is going to suck!" or "I hate the new Dante! He's emo and his hair isn't silver!"; because i know i am. First of all, the game isn't even out, yet, so you don't know that if it's going to suck or not. Second of all, it doesn't ruin the previous entries in the series, they still exist and are just as good or bad as they were before the game came out. If you don't like the new idea, don't play it. Don't bash the game, when it's not even out and you have no idea whether or not it's going to be it's OWN solid game or not.

ignore this comment to the topic, idk how i did this or how to get rid of it lol

I think the new DmC looks cool.

People don't understand that DmC isnt Devil May Cry 5 but a complete reboot and prequel.

He still looks cool and the gameplay is as sharp as ever.

As long as his physical appearance can be explained in the story I'm good.

But I can understand the fans and of course I would be pissed when I would be a dedicated DMC fan.

I mean completely changing the look of Sora would be unthinkable for me too.

Yeah, I think it looks pretty awesome. I love DMC and I'll def play it.

P.S. Dante is hott. Just sayin.

i will admit i was never a huge devil may cry fan, so it may be a bit hard for me to understand, but i still liked the series and i feel that as long as they explained the look change of a main character i would not have a problem. but, even then if the overall story and gameplay is good i will still enjoy the game.

yeah but it keeps putting it in a separate post and idk how to delete that post

The logic that you can't judge a game that you don't own sounds good until you look at it deeper. A person CAN determine whether they'll like something without actually experiencing it, that's how people avoid buying games they won't enjoy. It's not a perfect science, since obviously anything can defy ones expectations.

Yes, you can guess whether or not you may or may not like it from trailers and gameplay videos. But, you won't TRULY know how you feel until you experience the game.

No, that's not true. It helps to play the game, but it's very possible to be right on the money with this sort of assumption.

yes it is possible to be right on the money, but, what im saying is that you wont know 100 % unless you play the game. I thought L.A. Noire looked stupid, same with Portal 2. However, i now own both of these games and will not trade them in despite, the fact that i can't stand 1st person view games. Portal 2 was a good enough game in its own right to allow me to get past that aspect. So, i did not know for certain whether or not, these games were going to be good or not until i played them. On the other hand, i thought assassins creed revelations was going to be an amazing game based on the trailers. I am a huge assassins creed fan. I was slightly dissappointed in revelations compared to brotherhood and assassins creed 2. i loved it, but i didnt truly know how i felt about the game until i played it. yes you can get a feel for whether or not you may or may not like a game. you could still feel the same way you did about a game as you did before it came out. but, until you give it a shot, you wont know what you truly think. thats all i was getting at.
