In "The War of the Gods.", We will now go back even further into Dissidia Final Fantasy History, As we now Explore not just both the 12th Cycle and the 13th Cycle but also the 11th Cycle and the other Cycles of Battle in both our own versions and our own ways and now let us begin the Story of-"Dissidia Final Fantasy: The War of the Gods.".

"Mwe heh heh heh." Kefka laughed. Thats something he did well. Laughing before his enemies as he killed them. That how they coined the term 'Dancing Mad'. Kefka was near Chaos' throne. But he wasn't going to kneel like some nave. He was after bigger things: to become a God. Much like Chaos here. But would he share his plan to usurp and destroy? No. He would pretend to help Chaos, when really Kefka has his own agenda.

Hope woke up in Sanctuary. "Where am I?" Hope saw woman who said: "You are chosen chosen warrior, find your crystal and defeat chaos with others." Hope was still little bit surprised about all of this but he thought that he surely could find other people to. "Okay, I see what i can do for you Cosmos"

"What is this place?" Vincent asked from himself as he looked to sky in Crystal World. "So silent world, nothing but fighting for nothingness"

Bartz's eyes started to flutter open. He found himself awakening on a surface that seems like water but Bartz's clothes weren't an inch wet. "Man what happened last night? Where was I last night? Wait where am I right now!?" Bartz screamed as he jumped up to his full height. He jerked his head left to right up and down and saw an odd looking pedestal with a weird light streak spinning around it. A light orb fell in the middle and a woman's body formed as the light streak started to calm and float calmly around the mistress. "Whoa! That was epic!" Bartz shouted and the woman heard him as he put his hands over his mouth. 'Oops this does not look good at all!' Bartz thought in his mind as his body rushed with panic. "Another warrior of Cosmos I suppose, Bartz Klatzer?" She said in a very soothing voice. "Um you know my name?" He asked as calmly as he could make his shaky voice. "Yes, I will not harm you. Do not worry. Come please we have this to discuss about." She said gesturing in front of her. He obeyed but before she could start, he intervened and asked "What will we be discussing! I don't have any memories here and I don't know where I came from! I barley remembered my name! Where am I!?" She noticed how worried he was so she put her hand out and started to shush silently. "It's okay, I will explain everything I promise." Her soothing voice suddenly calming him. "Okay," He said "I trust you to help me out."

I woke up but didn't know where I was at. I look around . "Where am I at? I know that I wasn't here last night. I need help but where is Everyone?" I ask.

Snow took a breath as he headed toward the exit for Cosmos's palace. He was here to protect the balance of the worlds. He smiled. He could do that. He was born to be a hero. He wished Serah was with him, but that would put her in danger again. Better that she was somewhere safe. He hand went to the necklace he had around his neck. Serah had an identical one.

"Don't worry, Serah." he said, his voice full of confidence. "I'll stop Chaos then return to you."

"Okay well I should make use of whatever choice was just put before me." I say. I look around again this time I notice that this whole place seems to feel other worldly.

Zack was walking through a low hill overlooking a tall castle. "Man, where am i. Well i remember being shot, then i saw Cloud......aw man, my head hurts!" Zack pulled out a small letter 'I have twenty three tiny wishes, but i know you wont remember them all, so i put them all together into one......i want to spend more time with you'. "Aerith........i will find you again." Zack clenched the paper in his hand. He grabbed his sword. "Angeal, cloud, cissnei, everyone what happened?" Zack looked at the shining sky, a smile spread across his face. He jumped in the air. " I just remembered.......im a hero!!" (Zack before Abgeal death, kid Zack)

Snow was walking out towards....well, he wasn't sure where. Where ever he was needed. As he walked he heard, "I'm a hero!!" echo from over a hill. Snow ran up the hill to see Zack standing there.

"Good to here it." Snow said with a grin. "I'm a hero too. With two of us around, we'll have this beat in no time!"

He reached Zack and offered a hand.

"I'm Snow."

She was as good a place to start as any. Kain leapt down from the precipice, landing beside Yuna. "Lady Yuna, I presume." The dragoon quickly eyed the woman before him. She didn't look much of a warrior, but who was he to judge? Surely many of their opponent's wouldn't flaunt their skill either.

 

"My name is Kain and I am a warrior of Cosmos, much like yourself. For the time, I am assuring that Cosmos' allies are prepared for the conflict ahead."

"Names Zack, glad to meet ya." " Same here, do you know where we have to go." "Not a clue." "Well lets look around." Zack and Snow walked around the glowing fields, leading to icy snow. "So, you have someone you care about at home." "Yup her name is Sareh." "I got someone too, Aerith."

Rolan awoke in front of the Crystal Tower. At a first look around he felt as if this could be a dream caused by Satan. After a few moments, the thought subsided.

"Where am I?" Rolan spoke. "And how did I get here?"

After noticing a white tower in the distance, Rolan decided that he would start his search for answers there.

As he walked around the Orphan's Cradle, thoughts crept into his mind.

Did he truly have the right to exist? After what had happened? Where was Rem?

"Rem, I will find you," Machina spoke to himself before departing.

Kefka was here. Then again... Kefka was always here. Chaos had to see something in the harlequinn that Golbez clearly did not.

 

Golbez turned from Chaos' throne without even glance behind, vanishing in a cloud of darkness. Yet another war with Cosmos. Yet more bloodshed. How long would this continue? Before long, the armor-clad man found himself standing on the edge of a building. Looking down, he could see the high walls below, green land as far as the eye could see beyond it. The Crystal Tower. He would have laughed, had his arrival not been so predictable. This was the location where his last battle in the previous war had been. It had been a draw, between him and... and...

 

The memory was weak, barley recoverable. He remembered it at all, proving that chaos had prevailed in the end. Chaos always prevailed, and Cosmos always managed to slip from his grasp. And the violence would continue...

Golbez approached Chaos' throne. Kefka gave a mock bow to the armored warrior. "Hello, Lord Golbez." Kefka sneered. Golbez left. It was unsurprising. Golbez never liked Kefka, which was reoccuring theme among Chaos' minions. Or at least, from what Kefka could tell. The mage flicked his hands, and fire sprouted from it, spreading every where. "Mweh heh heh!" Kefka laughed. "Oh! Why, Dear Lord Chaos, is it not just so wonderful to burn things, leave something a burning wreck? To watch the millions die before your hands?" It was a rehtorcial question.

"Silence! Foolish Jester!, I have a Task for you to Fufill." Said Chaos.

Hope was walking in planets core. "Such a strange world, just when i finally thought that i dont need to fight anymore, now it feels like dream again, living in peaceful world" Two manikins appeared in front of Hope and he summoned his weapon. "Thundara" Hope casted bolts of lighting on manikins and threw his weapon at them and shattered them in peaces with it. "So strange, all i encouter is these mankins and they aren't even strong, or then they are just restranining their strength, but why?"

As far as I could tell there was a castle up ahead. "Seems like all I can do is go there." I say. Not much else could be seen except ice and snow but it wasn't cold. I started to like toward the castle. "Ice and snow is that really all that's here besides that castle?" I ask.

Zack and Snow terkked the miles of never ending world.

Kefka was appalled at Chaos' statement. "JESTER?! You dare to call I, Kefka Pallazo, a mindless slave to a King? Hmph!" Kefka though, remained to hear out Chaos. "Anyways," He said, calming himself, "What is it you want...my Lord?"

Bartz was about to fall asleep before Cosmos finally stopped explaining what he needed to do. He started to remember things bits by bits, which she explained a half hour ago, and that he will remember things after an hour or so being in the world. He started to finally remember moves that would probably become helpful in his fights to come. "Do you remember how to fight again Bartz?" She asked in her soothing voice, not a good thing for a half awake guy. "Oh um ... yeah I remember how to fight! I just need a moment to recover from a headache." Bartz half lied. He did have a slight headache, though he was half awake from her ongoing speech. Though he didn't want to hurt her feelings. "Okay, I will let you go on your journey for you to find the rest of the warriors of Cosmos. Please be careful." She said as a portal opened up behind her. "Thank you goddess Cosmos." Bartz said as he ran through the portal into a rocky landscape with a moon in the background and crystals everywhere. "Well I guess I start here." Bartz said with glee and started to walk around.

It seemed the lady summoner was in a world all her own. No matter then. Simply another casualty waiting to happen. Kain turned from the frozen castle, leaping up the sheer cliff. Surely there were other warriors.

 

It wasn't until he reached the Crystal Tower that Kain encountered another soul. As it so happened, it was one with which he was already familiar. The dragoon perched atop the spire, the black armor below rooted to the structure. "Kain." It said in a deep voice. "It seems you have been dragged into this conflict once more?"

 

"I can say the same for you, Golbez." Kain slid down the roofing, landing behind the other man. Golbez didn't turn, his gaze still out over the fields. "And of we are both here, then that can only mean one thing."

 

The two men stood there for a short while before Golbez broke the silence. "You would not have me run through?"

 

"I am a knight." Kain replied. "I cannot bring myself to strike down an unarmed opponent, much less one with his back to me. I am no coward." The dragoon was immediately met with a response that caught him off guard: laughter.

 

"You truly speak the words of the dragon knights you represent. You are too good of a man, Kain." Golbez turned to Kain slightly, his feet never moving. "I have a question for you, Kain." He paused, the silence cutting through the air with the breeze. "What is your goal in this cycle?"

 

"To serve Cosmos," Kain promptly answered, certainty coursing through his voice. "In any way she desires."

 

"Hmph." Golbez turned back to the fields. "Everyone had their own goals in this war. Whether that be to return home, end the fighting or even to simply destroy everything in their path." His thoughts quickly flashed to Kefka. That wretch...

 

"And what are yours, Golbez?" Golbez had expected the question, but somehow it still surprised him to hear it. "What are your intentions for this war?"

"I Command you to Welcome our Newest Ally to the Cause, His name is.......Sephiroth." Said Chaos to Kefka, Ordering him to go find Sephiroth and Bring him to Chaos.
