Anyone else wish that kingdom hearts was rated T at least? The manga is a lot more mature and I gotta say i like it that way! I mean yeah Disney = cute and innocent but sometimes all I want is a little blood, language, and mild sexual themes. Is that to much to ask?

Yeah! Blood, Violence, and Sexual Themes!

But they really could up it a little. I'd be happy with a T.

Hmm... I kind of like it the way it is, to be honest. But that's just me. :)

Yeah, I like the way it is too. I just feel like it could bump up to more of a Final Fantasy level, ya know?

If they did that, then it might as well just be Final Fantasy.

Kingdom Hearts is unique. Let's keep it that way.

It would be pretty cool if they pushed the bar a little higher. I mean all that cutesie stuff was great for part one but the characters have grown a little. It'll be nice to see some suggestive themes every now and then.

well being a little bit older myself see suggestive themes maybe that are not there or that is me misleading said part but i think its more fun that way

Nah because it then be crap. I like it how it is because its kingdom hearts . this cutesie crap is kingdom hearts :P

Disney wants to make sure they don't agree to something that almost parodies their own characters. Kingdom Hearts is a pretty touchy subject with them as it is. Although Disney is getting better at allowing more mature themes into their productions, they're still not so flexible as to allow Final Fantasy standard themes. That was shown by Dissida.

However, that hasn't apparently stopped there being a LOT of suggestive material throughout the series.

I see no need for it. I like Kingdom Hearts primarily for the storyline. Blood, language, and sexual themes would do nothing to enhance it. The female protagonists are already sexualized enough with their clothing, near-up-skirt shots, etc. Let SE and Disney decide what kind of content they think is acceptable in the KH series and go play Final Fantasy for the more mature content.

They already Got Crap Past the Radar by letting Aqua have jiggly boobs and letting Hades checking her out.

Oh yeah, I wish KH was more like this.

Oh no wait, that was a lie.

The people in this topic are what give videogames a bad name. Honestly, you sicken me a little.

The idea of 'improving' a game by making its content more mature proves you have the lack of mautity necessary to say such a thing. The games a rated on a maturity scale to determine an age when somebody should be mature enough to deal with its concepts. It's not meant to be a way of including content simply because a person has a grotesque desire to see it included. One should choose something based on its content, not requiring things like blood and sex just to enjoy it. Once you're mature enough to view those sorts of things as simply another part of the experience, and not actively seek out as the only way you can enjoy it, then you are mature enough to actually play a game like that.

I'd like to see a little more violence in Kingdom Hearts, quite personally.

Cool pic. I wanna see Sora like that.

I never said that was all I cared about, jerk. Let me make on thing very clear to everyone here, I LOVE Kingdom Hearts! With or without a T rating. I'm just a little annoyed by all the constant cutesy stuff and the fact that the battles In kh aren't as realistic as they could be. I was just joking about the other stuff so calm down! Sora could grow up to be a 50 year old virgen for all I care! I didn't say that they should make kingdom hearts like god of war or something (not that I have a problem with god of war) I just want a LITTLE more maturity, but it's not a big deal so whatever...

P.S. thanks for flaming. Because everyone knows flamers are VERY mature! (sarcasm)

If what I said didn't apply to you, would you be so defensive?

If you were mature, would you be writing so angrily?

I only speak defensively because your first message was so aggressive. A simple "no, I would like a higher rating" would suffice. Of course ,you are entitled to your opinion, but why don't you try stating your distaste for this topic in a calm and respectful manner like everyone else has?

I love Kingdom Hearts to death, but this topic came up in my thoughts the other day. Personally, I would love for KH to be given a higher rating in the future, but I think an M rating would ruin it. I cannot imagine KH III having an E 10+ rating, but I can see it happening. It's Kingdom Hearts, I would love it no matter what the rating. I'm not the type of person to classify games as "kiddy" because of their rating. If I were, I wouldn't like half/most of the games/movies I love today. :)
