Stop me if this was already brought up, but I've heard that KH3 may be only for the PS3. If that's true then I find that unfair! I mean, FFXIII came out on multiple consoles, right? Why wouldn't they do the same for KH3? I prefer to have it on the Xbox 360, because there's not much games I would play on the PS3 other than KH3. Who agrees with me on this?

I hope that it's on the PS3, because I spent my money on the PS3 specifically for KH3. But it'll be great if it's on other gaming consoles such as the X-Box.

Well not being fanboy or anything here, but KH people has been loyal to Sony (PS2/PSP) and Nintendo (DS/3DS). But it is confirmed that KH3 will appear on today's generation consoles it can be either PS3 or Xbox or both or even Vita who knows lol.

Honestly, I don't think it'll be on the PS3. Maybe on the PS4, but hey thats just me. To answer you question though, if it was multi-platform that would be great. It would save me the trouble of having to buy a PS3 but I can't see that happening with the final chapter in the series. I think it'll be an exclusive just like all the other entries, unless it gets a port like COM.

I could care less honestly. If 360 users get KH3 then good for them. If not... well they shouldn't be surprised seeing as KH and KH2 were both of the PS2.

To be honest, I don't really think the KH system would fit well on an X-Box console. PS3 or Vita I would say. But it doesn't matter to me either way. I haven't bought any console yet, I'm waiting it out for a confirmation as I do for all KH games.

I'd love to see KH III and future titles (IV, V, BBS V2, etc. since III ends the Xehanort Saga, not the series) on multiple platforms, not just Sony. At the current moment, I am unaffected by which console it is on, since I own all 3 of the platforms. Interesting topic, though.

Since the KH series is on Sony and Nintendo systems, I'd suggest that KH3 be for PS3 and Wii U. If it were on the Vita, I'd be ticked, because KH3 is too awesome to be on a handheld device.

 

And for those saying that it might be on PS4, keep in mind that KH2 came out in 2006, same year the PS3 launched.

Kingdom Hearts III has not begun production because we do not have any idea when Final Fantasy Versus 13 will be finished as we know very little about the game.

 

Kingdom Hearts III wont be released on the current generation of console, because if it did it would be released when the PlayStation 3 is nearly dead.

 

It is much smarter for Kingdom Hearts III to be released on the PlayStation 4 in the long term both for money reasons and the game's life.

It was released in Japan, December, 2005. It had been in development/production for a couple of years. By the time they begin Kingdom Hearts III chances are the PlayStation 4 would have been officially announced at a Sony or major gaming event.

I hope it comes out on Multi-Console, as I know it will come out on at least PS[3/4]. 360 would be great, as my brother already has one. WiiU would also be cool, as I am sure Square could come up with something neat for the controller, and we will probably end up getting one. If it is exclusively for Sony, then I will just do what I did for BbS. Which would be stare at the game every time I see it at a store, and wish someone would magically appear and give me the console needed to play it.

 

Of course, I could also have a job by the time KHIII comes out. If that's the case, then it won't matter what console it comes out on, as I will just buy it.

Eh, making games multiconsole diverts resources that could go towards simply making the game better.

I think they should put it on all 3 major consoles, I don't like how we have to buy new ones because they come out on something we don't have. :<

I would want KH3 to atleast be on the PS3. I mean, it is the end of the Xehanort saga. That's too epic for hand-helds to handle!
