After the overwhelming popularity of the idea, I'm starting this rp. Remember, this takes place in the modern time. So people won't be very happy if you draw your weapon in public. Be careful. Also, this was an important question, and I'll answer. You can talk to your Inhabiter whenever you want. And I have to have Sephiroth as my enemy. Sorry, Azure Flame xD

Joy sat in the cafe, drinking his coffee slowly. He couldn't believe all of it was real. Final Fantasy, everything. And why Cloud chose him was boyone his understanding. After all, in the games, he was the cool dude. Still, having the Buster Sword was pretty cool. He finished his coffee and walked out slowly. He put his hands in his pockets and tried to imitate Cloud's expression, but he burst out laughing, causing to people around him to look at him. Oh, if only they knew.

Misaki leaned on the side of a building and watched as cars passed by. She didn't know her inhabiter, Yuna, that well but it was worth looking into. I wonder in anyone else here have inhabiters, she thought, sighed and closed her eyes. There was a burst of laughter nearby and Misaki opened one eyes and glanced to the side. Some people passing by was staring at a boy. She gave a questionable look. Does that guy have an inhabiter, she thought still staring at him

Fabian sat down on the sidewalk, his tendons cracking. Layle, what the hell do you want me to do? You're telling me to go all over town, but for what? A voice in his head sighed. You never know. Jegran or any other planning to kill you could be lingering. The voice in his mind replied. Well can some other inhabiter deal with this? I just want to watch some TV.

Then, Fabian remembered. Layle had told him of Jegran and many other things in the past.

Nevermind, where do I look next?

When you passed by the mall, my bearer powers sensed an ominous presence.

What are you, a ghost hunter?

Just a crystal bearer.

Fabian sighed, and got up.

This better be the last place I look.

Mariah sat on her couch playing Final Fantasy VII, which she had just downloaded from the Playstation Network. She had never played it before--only watched over her brother's shoulder as he played it on their PSone when they were kids. But now that this girl, Tifa..."Somethingheart?" had chosen to be her Inhabiter, she knew she had to get some back story. She was just at the part where Cloud arrived at the 7th Heaven. Mariah found herself saying the words before they appeared on the screen: "Welcome home, Cloud. Looks like everything went well."

She gasped and almost dropped the controller. It was really weird, as if she had actually said these words before. Then she smiled and leaned back. "Yup," she said to herself. "Tifa's definitely in there."

She got up and stretched, then walked to the balcony of her seventh-story apartment. Not much of a view--just a busy street below. But one figure caught her eye: a girl with black hair, not much younger than Mariah, leaning against the outside wall of the café opposite her apartment building. Something told Mariah that girl was special, like herself.

"Hey. It looks like that boy is special". Misaki's eyes both opened and she looks around. it only took a second for her to realize that was Yuna. Man, that will never get old, she thought. Misaki could feel Yuna's presence inside of her. It was a weird feeling but good in a way. What do you mean, Misaki thought back to her. "i mean that i can sense there's someone occuping his body but i don't know how." Misaki looked back at the boy.You could be right, she thought back to Yuna

Joy's cheeks went red, this was why he hated this. But then a voice spoke in his mind. Why are you embarrased? Joy thought back, Who are you, and why are you in my mind? The voice responded, Are you really that dumb? I'm obviously Cloud. You know? You're inhabiter? Joy nodded, and pushed Cloud out of his thoughts. He looked over to see a girl leaning on a wall. He knew she was special, but he didn't want to go up to this girl and say, 'Hey, do you have a Final Fantasy character inside of you?' If he was wrong, it would be embarrasing beyond reason. And he was already embarrased enough today. So, he walked down the street, heading to his apartment across the street. Somehow his eyes were drawn up to a blacony, where a girl was standing. A tingle was in his stomach. One that told him something. Something told him this girl had Tifa inside of her. He just knew it.

Victoria was having to do a concert and was 15 minutes from it. She was in her dressing room and looking at the mirror. She was already in her outfit and was ready to go, but something kept her looking in the mirror. Her reflaction then turned into Lightning. "So, I am not the only one there is, but why me anyways?" Victoria asked her. "You have the same aura as me, yet we are different. Now there are others, and you will meet them in time." Lightning said and there was a knock on the door. It was time for Victoria to perform. She walked outside and then got on the rise platform to take the stage. "ARE YOU READY FOR THE ONE, THE ONLY, MISS VICTORIA HOPE!!!!!!!!!!" the announcer yelled to the crowd. http-~~-//youtu.be/UJtB55MaoD0?hd=1

Paul was backstage getting ready for his performace with Victoria. Paul was the one who had found Victoria and got her career going. Paul was born into a famous family and was able to start his singing career when he was 13. Paul was now waiting and talking to his inhabitar, Zack Fair. Paul was a big fan of Zack so it was huge that he was inside him. "So you ready for this?" Zack asked Paul. "Yeah, but we go when I say." Paul told him and waited.

Victoria ended the song and then said, "Thanks for coming out tonight. You all may know the words to this next song, but watch out for a surprise." Victoria began to sing:

. Then Paul went into to sing at the B.O.B. part.

The boy was already walking away, so she got off he wall and stretched. There's no need to watch him anymore, she thought and started walking down he sidewalk. She heard Yuna giggle at her thought and Misaki sighed. So she can hear my thought too, she thought, great... She looked around looking for something to do. The long silence cracked when Yuna said, "do you think we'll find more people like you here?" "Well, maybe. there's bound to be more." Misaki said

James coudln't believe what had happened. Not only did he find out that his favorite game series was actually real, but the most notorious and popular villain, as well as his favorite villain, was now inside him. Part of him was excited, but the other part was scared. He wasn't an evil guy, anyone you asked would tell you how nice he was. He just couldn't comprehend why he was chosen for this. He was walking down the street when he bumped into a guy. (Joy)

Joy felt a buzz when the man walked into him, like a million alarms were going off. Joy stopped, and looked at the man. He was strange. This feeling in his gut made him scared. It was almost like he met him before, which he reminded himself, his Inhabiter might have. He knew this man was special, and he wondered, who he had in him. He chose his words carefully. "So, who are you? You seem to be a special sort of guy."

(So, yes, we can basically sense other people with Inhabiters.)

Ackira sighed, and sat on the parks bench.

"Everything seems busy today.." Ackira said as she looked at the sky.

'No duh you just noticed?' It was Fang, she was speaking to Ackira from inside. Ackira had known about Fang until recently, she hadnt know much about what she called Final Fantasy, and she had no clue as to why Fang had chosen her, they werent alike in anyway, Fang was more demanding and outgoing then Ackira was, but Ackira learned to take Fang as apart of her.

"Im going home, before someone thinks im a maniac talking to myself." Ackira said as Fang laughed. She stood up and headed for the apartment complex down the street.

August Concero stepped out of the concert feeling... he didn't know, like somehow Victoria and Paul were different. Maybe even like him. "No, of course not," August thought to himself, "they're just celebrities, that's why they're different." Normally August wouldn't have gone to a concert like that. He was really shy a lot of the time, but Vaan continuously pressured him to go out and do things. "Have fun, live life," he'd said. August wondered for what seemed like the hundredth time why Vaan would chose to have him as a host. "We've already been over this!" answered Vaan, making August once again aware that he wasn't the only one in his thoughts anymore. "I picked you because I see potential in you. We could do some awesome stuff. You can use my power and energy but mix it with your foresight and, you know, patience, and we can kick some major butt. Besides, we're alike in everything that matters, mostly about what matters to us." As August reflected on the first straight answer he'd gotten yet, he was interrupted by a surprising revelation from Vaan. "And yeah, I think that those two may be Inhabiters as well."

James could sense it as well. He felt it better to play dumb, but Sephiroth was telling him otherwise. Cut him down James! Do it now! he said. "I don't know what you're talking about." James said. "I'm just a normal guy just like anyone else."

About an hour later, Misaki soon got home and flopped onto the couch. "What a boring day.." she mummbled while grabbing the remote control from the coffee table infront of her and switching on the T.V. "hey, we did find someone who had an inhabiter." Yuna said. Misaki soghed as she recalled it. "Yeah, that too." Misaki mummbled and she could feel that Yuna was irritated for a second. Misaki started channel surfing and soon fell asleep

"ngh..." Wondering about the recurring dreams he has been having lately, ever since he was chosen. "...Luneth..Arc...Refia?" He muttered to himself. It was the work of his inhibitor's soul: Ingus, the Light of Determination. Why has HE chosen Luccifer? For what purpose? Is something BOUND to happen in the near future? "...Why are your memories becoming my dreams, Ingus?" Luccifer asked as he closed his eyes. He pictured a dark room with a light shining right down his own body, as another one dupilcates, but someone comes out of his body, the inhabitor's spirit to be exact. "As much as I worry, I am afraid I can not do anything to prevent such dreams." He replied.

"...You are always polite, aren't you?" Luccifer asked. "But of course. I am one of his royal knights infact." Ingus replied.

"Hmm...Sure. So what do we do? You said there are others that are inhabited? How will we know who is who?" Luccifer asked as he crossed his arms.

"That, you can leave to me. I am able to identify those that have the soul. As of now, I know a few are in this world." Ingus replied as he crossed his arms as well and began to lean back.

"Also, you said you had the ability to change jobs when you were alive." Luccifer looked with a sparkling look of enthusiasum.

"...I was mainly the swordsman....Warrior, Knight, Dark Knight, Dragoon....even an Onion Knight." Ingus replied as he chuckled a bit. "Hmm...What about magic? Like White mages, Red Mages?" Luccifer asked again with more glee. "I could, but I prefer not to focus on that, maybe you might be able to focus on those. and if you need offensive help, I can jump in and give you some assistance."

Luccifer opened his eyes, as Ingus walked back in his body.

"All right, where too.." May I suggest looking for some inhabitors? We will need to make a party for an upcoming fight, I can sense a swordsman like myself, a summoner and a Sky Pirate.

Mariah's eyes moved toward the café, in the same direction the girl was curiously looking. Her gaze fixated on a young man who was staring up at her, and an electric sensation coursed through her. “C-Cloud?” she whispered involuntarily. Oh come on, this couldn't really be happening. What were the odds that she would see two other people with Inhabiters in the same place at the same time? She had to be imagining things. Still...this man seemed so familiar, even though Mariah knew she had never seen him before.

The next thing she knew, another young man with blonde hair bumped into the first man. He seemed familiar, too, but not in a good way. Now she had all but forgotten about the black-haired girl. One instinct overcame her: Defend him (“him” referring to the first young man). Suddenly she was not herself, and it took her a moment to realize that she had actually jumped off of her own balcony, leaping from one balcony to another in order to descend to the street below. When she reached the pavement, she was herself again for a moment, and noticed that several people were staring at her in shock, having witnessed the stunt she had just pulled. She looked around, smiled and waved awkwardly. The instinct kicked in again. Defend him!! Then she bolted toward the two men, expertly dodging traffic as she ran across the busy street.

As she got closer, she slowed down, the urge to defend the man subsiding a little, as there appeared to be no immediate threat. And what if I'm wrong about these two? she thought. This inhabiter thing has probably made my imagination go haywire. She approached the two of them slowly, wondering what to do. If they're not who I think they are, chances are I'll never see them again, so why should I be afraid of being judged? But she still couldn't shake the feeling of familiarity, and deep, deep within, she knew she was right about them. No turning back now.

“Hey,” she said to the two men, “are you guys new to this area?”

When the girl came over to them, James instinctively reached for the long katana at his side. Realizing what he was doing, he moved his hand away and turned to face her. "N-not really." he said, trying to sound calm, his voice wavering a bit. "I live around here." This was, in fact, the truth. His house was a couple blocks away and he was actually on his way home when he bumped into the guy that seemed so familiar, and whom Sephiroth wanted him to kill. He thought about it and realized that the guy must have Cloud inside him, and then the girl who came over, whom also seemed familiar, might have Tifa, which is why she came running. He had noticed her jumping from her balcony out of the corner of his eye and was shocked by it, but it also helped prove his speculation.

As August jerked awake he felt Vaan stirring also. "What was that?" August asked Vaan out loud. There was no one else in his apartment, anyway, so he didn't have to stay quiet. "I have no idea, but I'm glad you felt it too. A sky pirate can't go off losing his edge. Felt to me kind of like someone made some sort of reference to me, or connection to me I guess (reference to P50L's post)." August responded, "You're a video game character here, get used to it." "No, not like that. It was a more powerful and personal connection. Luckily it appeared to be friendly." "So what do you what do you want me to do about it?" asked August, already fairly sure he knew the answer. "Follow the connection and figure out who or what it leads to, of course!" August groaned, "Is that really the best idea?" "Eh, we'll find out later, won't we? For now just think of it as an adventure. Who knows what treasures could be found along the way?" With that August tore himself out of bed and got dressed for his day, going through all of the standard motions of getting ready. As he was about to head out the door he quick-summoned and then dismissed a long sword with his inhabiter's powers. "All right," he said, more to himself than anyone, "time for an adventure."

“Ah,” she replied, slightly embarrassed. Why didn't she explore her own neighborhood more? She had lived there a few months, but in that time all she really did was hang out in her own apartment, go to work about 15 minutes away, and occasionally visit her friends who lived in the more tranquil suburbs. Her own street didn't interest her all that much. But she regretted it now, feeling a little pathetic that she didn't know her own neighbors.

She was startled when Tifa's voice came into her head; the first words Mariah actually heard from Tifa since she first became Mariah's Inhabiter. “Hey, don't beat yourself up over it. Um, especially because I'm positive that this guy is Inhabited by Sephiroth. He seems nice, but if you allow yourself to trust him, you might get yourself killed. Sephiroth is extremely powerful and manipulative, and no doubt has chosen this guy for a reason.” Well, it was nice to have Tifa actually explaining something to her in words, instead of simply giving her strange sensations and possessing her.

“Well, um...nice to...meet you,” Mariah said, trying to hide her sudden nervousness.

Might as well just get some information on the person Sephiroth's Inhabited. A name is a good place to start.”

Alright then. She extended her hand. Even though she now knew that she would eventually have to help fight this man to the death, or something like that, might as well act normal around him in public so that bystanders wouldn't become suspicious or freaked out. She couldn't afford to be any more conspicuous than she already was after the balcony thing. “I'm Mariah. What's your name?” she inquired.

There! Layle shouted in Fabian's thoughts, causing a headache.

There was James Seraphim, and he looked far from being an Inhabitor.

Him? You sure? He's pretty normal.

Well, if you still have doubts, let's go see.

Fabian waved his hand and a shield formed in front of him.

It was clear, but wrapped around him and avoided people seeing him.

He crouched and advanced slowly.

With the concert over, Victoria and Paul were in the tour bus waiting for the driver to come back. Victoria was talking to Lightning, and Paul was talking to Zack. When the driver came back he had tried to start the bus, but he wasnt able to. "Looks like the bus wont be going anywhere, and it will take 5 days to get it working again." the driver said. "Well then I say we give out a concert here everynight for our charitey until the bus is fixed." Paul said. So they got out of the bus and went into Hotel Paris down the street.

James hesitantly reached for her hand, unnerved by all the things Sephiroth was telling him to do to her. For now, his will was stronger and he grasped her hand to shake it. "James, James Seraphim." he said, shaking her hand. He quickly let go as his hand went to his head. "I'm not feeling well at the moment." he said, his voice straining. "I really have to get home." He knew his will wouldn't hold out much longer, Sephiroth's desire to kill those two was too strong. He could actually feel his personality start to warp under his influence. He pushed past the two and started running, hoping Sephiroth would calm down long enough for him to regain control.

This feeling seems to be getting stronger, as every step you take gets closer. The essence of a sky pirate. I can feel. His mind has thought. "...Where exactly, I just notice that one guy over there, and a woman sitting on a bench." Luccifer replied as he stopped and though tot himself. Although he noticed that the young man was looking for something, or someONE.

...I can feel it. One of them is near. GAH! Ingus' voice shouted in distress. "What? Is he near?" Luccifer asking while he walks around the area more. ...So it seems there is more inhabiters then those 3. I can sense HIM....

It was a new day for Tai Shiroku. Well, not exactly new, since it was a bit late in the day, but nevertheless. Tai decided that he would take a walk around the city and breath in some fresh air. Ever since Bartz first came to him, Tai felt more motivated to travel all over the place. Before, all he knew where to go was from his house to the grocery store. Everywhere else he just took by car.

The Bartz character was certainly odd to Tai, so he decided to go Google the name. He found that it was the name of the character from Final Fantasy V. The details that were shown on the website even matched the voice that spoke in his head. Despite this odd encounter, Tai didn't mind the company. Actually, he quite enjoyed it. Now, walking through the streets, Tai noticed as the wind picked up. He remembered reading that in the video game, when the crystal from the Wind Shrine was stolen, the wind would suddenly become nonexistent. The idea that it could happen in real life sounded amusing to him.

OOC: Sorry I couldn't post at all yesterday. Had family over. They didn't leave till midnight... ._.

Sara shook her head in disbelief. It wasn't possible that a video game character from her favorite series could be inside of her right now. No way. No how. She thought as she crossed her street. Not to mention that the video game character inside her was one from her all time favorite game Final Fantasy. And that she had a slight crush on. Well, I am the leading man. A voice inside her head spoke. "Oh shut up. Shut up. Shut up. Shut up!" She shouted out loud. Several bystanders looked at her weirdly. She ducked her head and walked faster. You know, it isn't entirely smart to scream at the top of your lungs to a voice inside your head...people will think your strange. Balthier said. Well maybe I am weird. BECAUSE I'M TALKING TO A VIDEO GAME CHARACTER WHO SHOULDN'T EVEN EXISTED INSIDE MY BODY OR AT ALL. She yelled at him in her mind. Now, now. There's no need to get angry. You should be privileged I chose you. Balthier soothed her in his stupid hot accent. Sara shook her head. "What did I do to deserve this?" She asked herself.

After several streets, Balthier spoke again. Wait..Stop. Sara didn't want to stop but his voice sounded different, like he was worried. What is it? She asked him. I think I sense something...keep on walking. I think we shall run into an old friend rather soon. An old friend? What are you talking about? Sara asked quite annoyed. Just keep moving, Sara. You need to learn to trust me. "Oh yeah. Sure. Just trust the voice inside my head...it's not like I'm crazy or anything..." Sara muttered and continued to walk.

Mariah kept her eyes on James as he departed. She didn't know whether or not to feel surprised that he had left so abruptly. But what she did know was that she felt relieved that he was gone--for now. James appeared harmless, maybe even like someone she wouldn't have minded getting to know under normal circumstances. But Tifa was telling her a different story.

Her attention turned to the first man, whom James had bumped into. "Don't tell me you live in the area, too. Man, I feel like such a hermit, not being more social with the people around here," she laughed regretfully. "Well, I'm sure you already know that I'm Mariah. Mariah Gates." She extended her hand again, this time feeling no fear--only warmth and happiness.
