Part I

Apprentice drummed her fingers on the wall, brows knitted with a hand pressed to her temple. The staccato pattern her fingernails created did not help the increasing annoyance that weighed on her mind. She had forgotten something, and obviously she didn't know what. She pictured how much of an idiot she must looked, standing awkwardly in the hallway. Maybe if she retraced her steps and thought for a moment what she had been planning before she suddenly forgot.

Shaking her head, Apprentice stood up straight and walked forward. She played various scenarios through her mind. First, I was thinking eating frosted flakes for breakfast and then I had planned on going on the computer. That's when the various grey, white and blue colours invaded her mind.

"Ohhhhh," she said aloud, slapping the side of her head."That's what I was going to do. I was going to go on KH13. Stupid me."

Treading a restless hand through her auburn hair, Apprentice made her way up the staircase. The rest of her family had gone out shopping today and she was alone at home with the dog and cats.

Approaching her iMac, she seated herself comfortably. At first, Apprentice had stumbled upon the site looking for various Kingdom Hearts cutscenes via Google and YouTube. When she returned to the site, she started stalking it for a for a month or so when Birth by Sleep Final Mix and Re:coded had been released. It was until after KH3D had been announced that she finally decided to sign up on the site using the pseudonym TheApprenticeofKingMickey.

It was really strange, the feelings she felt for invisible people. At first, she was initially suspicious of anyone who talked to her, believing them perverts or rapists. As time went, the members of KH13 grew on her and came to regard the majority of the site as good friends. Course, if her parents knew this they'd be telling her, "Y'know, you're befriending pedophiles, right?"

Apprentice briefly smirked as she opened Safari. Maybe she'd ought to tell them that. gaiz mommy and daddy thinks ur all pedos!

From what Apprentice had learned , KH13 consisted of five groups. The Kings (Aaron and DChiuch), the moderators, the well-known members, the lesser-known members and the bots. Apprentice had a hard time distinguishing whether she belonged in the well known or lesser known groups. The hierarchy of KH13 was a tough egg to crack. Basically if the mods disapproved of you or dislike you, your life on KH13 never truly existed in the first place.

After Apprentice had finished browsing through YouTube and allkpop, she finally clicked on KH13. Browsing through the notifications on KH13 was one of the times during the day that Apprentice looked forward to the most. Which is pretty pathetic now that you think about it.

What caught Apprentice's eye was the strange window flashing at the corner of the screen. She removed her purple and blue spectacles, cleaned them, rubbed her eyelids before depositing them back on the bridge of nose.

The window was small, flashing with all the signature colours and symbols of the Kingdom Hearts series. In the series' signature font there was were two words. 'The Keyhole' it said. Below the words was the recognizable Keyhole of Light, its light shining more brightly than the midday sun itself. She was right. What she saw wasn't a dream. She had clicked on this window before and it had taken her on a magical route.

Apprentice moved the cursor, then hesitated. Stop it, she thought. This is DChiuch, you idiot. You can trust him. Swallowing audibly, Apprentice clicked on the Keyhole. A silvery white light came pouring out of the Keyhole, lathering the walls and furniture of the computer room. It grabbed hold of Apprentice, its touch almost frothy and warm. It coaxed Apprentice to feel no fear. Finally yielding, she let herself plunge into a world of magic and danger.

Tell me if I kicked ass in this chapter. I think did pretty well. I credit Deadshot for the name. So now you know what my parents think of you. And what important lesson did we learn from reading this chapter kids? LSD + Computer = BIG NONO

If guys keep posting, at this rate, there'll be more bantering than story space and people will find it unappealing.

Yeah guys... this isn't a random thread where side chats go off and on. A little bit is fine, but the main point of the thread is for the OP to post their stories... if you chat too much in the writing sort of gets lost in all of it and the whole point of the section is lost. All this side chatting can also be better off in the instant messenger system or even PM's.

 

But yeah... a LITTLE BIT is okay I'm fine with a little bit of it myself, but don't overdo it. It would be too hard to follow Apprentice's wonderful story then. D:

Part IV

Amidst the Great Maw, Apprentice gawked as she saw baylaust sling Void Gear in Aqua7KH's direction and see her retaliate by shooting a blend of blizzard and thunder out of Stormfell. When the two collided, quite literally over top of Apprentice's head, a large CRACK resounded throughout the canyon. Cringing visibly, Apprentice ducked and the world was hidden behind a curtain of midnight hair.

"Watch out, Apprentice!" yelled baylaust.

"Gee, thanks for the heads up. You're so considerate," she remarked with unmistakable dryness.

Aqua made a What-can-you-do? gesture. Apprentice glared.

Through the entire canyon, members were practicing newly discovered or at least trying to discover what powers they possessed. After much debating, the Kings and the main teams realized that Apprentice had the ability to manipulate and create new surroundings. A valuable asset in battle it would be. It upset Apprentice, for she wanted an offensive battle skill. DChiuch only smiled when she'd admitted it aloud and said, "Your pseudonym, TheApprenticeofKingMickey is certainly the key to that particular problem." Emphasis on the 'key' part. At the rate, if she acquired anymore powers she'd end up a Mary Sue. And Apprentice, who abhorred Mary Sues, did not want this happening.

Her musings were interrupted when she felt the impact of Ivan crashing into her. "Sorry, Apprentice," she laughed. "I kinda blasted radiation at myself with the Doctor's screwdriver. I'm still getting the hang of this."

She opened her mouth. "Ivan, so help me-"

She was interrupted when TheKingdomkid, in Space Paranoid form, accidentally threw his identity disc in her direction. It skimmed the side of her shoulder, forming a large gash and immediately liquid red began to ooze. Furious enough not to feel the pain, she wiped the blood off with a hand and flung it. From the drops, the flowers representing blood, also known as anemones, budded and grew in a time period of ten seconds. Apprentice fumed. So even her blood could create things, could it? What, in a flying fart in space, was this?

"When you've stopped trying to unintentionally killing me now!" she roared.

"Why were you in the middle of the practice field?" bit back Cella, who was in the middle of trying to resist Kaiso's powers of compulsion. The result was an extremely comprising position.

"If you don't stop," Apprentice said through gritted teeth. "Vic Mignogna will stop you."

At once, Koko stood in front of her as the forty foot tall Kawaii Goddess. Her eyes were luminous balls of fire. "Go ahead, bitch. I dare you."

Not one to be intimidated, Apprentice smiled with false sweetness and concentrated. It was easier than the first time, when she had exhausted her mental energy. Instead of manipulating the entire world, she manipulated a huge chunk of blue rock, molding it like a piece of clay. She molded out Edward Elric, Tamaki Suou, Dark, Luciano Bradley and Yukito whom acted out some of their most comical and dramatic scenes. Eventually, the rock turned into Vic Mignogna himself and broadcasted his most memorable moments at conventions. When Apprentice finished showing off the reel, Koko had shrunk from forty feet to literally an inch small and writhing on the ground. Her face was a picture of horror.

Apprentice smiled devilishly."That's better." Unexpectedly, a tall stranger blocked her path. The sun highlighted his stature, making his gold locks and flaming azure eyes all the more intimidating. It took a while for Apprentice to realize it was Snow. "Because of Dick Micockna, I just lost ten years of my lifespan. Thanks, Mickey."

Apprentice saluted him, military style. "Happy to help."

Shana showed up at her side as soon as she left Snow behind, an expression of discomfort on her face.

"How're the practice sessions going?" Apprentice asked, already knowing the answer.

Shana's face scrunched. "Terrible. I've got so many people confused. Practice sessions are so disorganized. This is memory manipulating business is hard. I don't know how Naminé did it."

"Props to all the Kingdom Hearts characters," Apprentice smiled. Shana's words rang true. The practice sessions were disorganized. Not just Apprentice but anyone wandering through the practice field could get hurt. Which left the question of how DChiuch and Aaron plan to defeat this so-called invasion penetrating the site's borders. What if they orchestrated a synchronized attack? Wouldn't that be more effective?

Apprentice's thoughts wandered as she silently walked with Shana around the perimeter where the practice sessions took place. Apprentice wasn't the greatest tactician, but she still thought of pretty awesome battle moves you could perform with Keyblades. She though of them often whenever Kingdom Hearts came to mind.

Her brain navigated her through endless hours of gameplay she had completed. The various abilities the Keyblade wielders possessed in the game, for example Sora's Trinity Limit or Ventus' Salvation would be incredibly useful in real-life battles. Wait, stop that thought. Dreamscape battles. There we go! Only if they would be able to easily recreate those battle moves. This made Apprentice pause. It wouldn't be easy to execute and considering the trouble Apprentice had with her own ability, it wouldn't be probable all. And if they could pull off this move, she couldn't call the shots. It was Daniel who headed this operation, so it was he who make the final decision. Problem was, would he listen to her? She and DChiuch were not exactly chummy.

When Apprentice returned to present, she found herself standing still, hand holding her chin in thought. Her eyes had unconsciously fallen on Lu Xun who was currently engaging Sora96 in a fierce duel, sparks from Ends of the Earth and the Kingdom Key flying in all directions. Shana was waving her hand in front of Apprentice's face, her expression hopeless. "Moshi moshi, Apprentice?"

"Gimme a sec," she murmured, before making a foray back into the practice field to the extreme threat of her well-being.

She dodged Ivan, who shot green goo out of the Doctor's screwdriver. Apprentice was sure it was radioactive slime. She feinted Koko, who threw enormous balls of lolita themed objects and when a spout of water came from Sailor Soldier clothed Ami she eluded becoming soaked by dropping face forward onto the ground. Sweet. I think DChiuch and Aaron gifted us with supernatural reflexes and agility. Nearing Lu Xun and Sora96, she screamed for them to stop and predictably they did not listen. Resorting to the last measure, Apprentice threw herself at Lu Xun, knees on the ground and clinging to his arm with such force that would prevent him from shaking her off. As he struggled to loosen her grip, Apprentice never realized how incredibly fine all that muscle and sinew were on Terra.

Which lead to uncomfortable situation when Lu Xun saved Apprentice from drowning in her thoughts once again. "Uh, Apprentice, why are you still holding my arm?"

She kept staring at her glowing hands who clung to Lu Xun's muscly arms. "I never realized how incredibly fine Terra's stature was. I never thought I would think of him as sexy but here I am doing it." Which meant Apprentice was inadvertently calling Lu Xun sexy. This caused the both of them to blush. Amidst all the fighting, Sora96 gazed at them with a look that said, 'Can we move on to something else now?'

Apprentice shook her head, rising to her feet. "Sorry. One track mind. Damn hormones."

Still a little embarrassed, Lu Xun cleared his throat. In a flash of light, Ends of the Earth disappeared. "Did you need something?"

"I want to talk to you," she said, cutting to the chase.

"No chance of you talking to me either?" Sora cut in, the Kingdom Key slung over a shoulder.

She studied him for a moment. "Actually, I do."

The moment of surprise was ruined by birth by sleep throwing Hope's boomerang in their direction. "First thing's first, we need to talk somewhere safer." Sora nodded and the Kingdom Key vanished within a mass of rainbow coloured lights.

Apprentice nervously stewed over how she would explain things to them before she paused and thought of how foolish she was. She was only explaining an idea she had. It's not she was going to going sing in front of a million people. The both of them shocked her, after she finished explaining, showing much enthusiasm for her idea.

"Do you think DChiuch will consider it?"

Lu Xun and Sora looked at each other with air as if they were sharing an inside joke that only the main teams of the site understood. "I think he just might."

Apprentice beamed. "Can I hug the both of you?"

Sora grinned. "I never turn down hugs from a female."

Squeezing them both tightly, she said, "I think this is the literal definition of a virtual hug. You guys are awesome, by the way."

Lu Xun smiled widely this time. "I think we know."
