January 23, 201213 yr I haven't heard of those sites, but this happening just goes to show what kind of impact these things can have.
January 23, 201213 yr If the website has done nothing wrong. They have nothing to be worried about. thats up for our awesome federal government to decide ever since the entertainment industry cant stop bitching over copyright (like music, trademarks, ect.)
January 23, 201213 yr thats up for our federal government to decide ever since the entertainment industry cant stop bitching over copyright (like music, trademarks, ect.) Yeah, your government. If it's so bad, don't vote for Obama. Pretty simple.
January 23, 201213 yr Yeah, your government. If it's so bad, don't vote for Obama. Pretty simple. i know but if we end up with romney (satan) things will be even worse. and obama didnt make the call it was all the republicans that have the majority in the house, so obama couldnt do a thing even if he wanted to.

January 23, 201213 yr then don't vote for Obama or Romney. either if its a republican candidate or democratic it wont matter. republican president = bye bye internet (might as well, just look at where its heading to with these bills) democratic = cant do JACK because the republicans are in the house (and will try to keep it that way) PS: i cant legally vote yet the only reason i speak because i am outraged of what they tried to do and what the might be going to do next.
January 23, 201213 yr Yeah, your government. If it's so bad, don't vote for Obama. Pretty simple. Obama's not the only one though... There's a whole congress full of representatives that need to be voted out... :U

January 23, 201213 yr Damn FBI did a number on this. A lot file sharing sites are deleting anything copyright after megaupload got taken down. Well sad to say but oh well. I didn't really download anything really. Rarely even did now in days. So eh I don't have anything to lose. For you guys who used those sites often well...sorry.
January 23, 201213 yr Well, as for Megaupload, it was taken down because the feds said it facilitated illegal downloads. It's not the sites faults, but the fault of the people uploading and downloading this stuff. However, since they can't go out and arrest every one of them, they instead turn on the companies that created the websites these people use.
January 23, 201213 yr Those old geezers are just jealous we know how to use the internet properly. http://kh13.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/dry.png
January 23, 201213 yr Author I bet 20 dollars that this wont last for to long, sure a few sties will go down and we lose something but in general the FBI will get lazy again and stuff will start to pop up, they probably only doing anything about it is because they probably got "donations" from the movie, music, bla bla industry. i bet you if the music and movie industry did not "donate" money i bet the FBI would not even care, pretty much like pirating TV and torrents will forever be around because main data (the file you are downloading besides the torrent data it self) are not on a server. They are stored on other peoples computers., maybe the companies that make the torrent software might go down but there will always be people that can always make another (and better) one to replace it. ALSO we are now losing Rapidshare http://thehiddentech.com/rapidshare-shutdown/
January 23, 201213 yr I bet 20 dollars that this wont last for to long, sure a few sties will go down and we lose something but in general the FBI will get lazy again...ect ect trust me this is only the beginning, just keep your eyes peeled for a bill in 2015 ^^^^^ i cant confirm this, its just a rumor. i just cant say anymore without being sure. just pray to god that romney does NOT become the next president or the elephants get the boot from the house. pray to god. im gonna throw a fit if those bitches touch my precious torrents

However, since they can't go out and arrest every one of them, they instead turn on the companies that created the websites these people use. This. They were breaking the law, they deserved to be arrested. As for the other file-sharing sites taking down copyrighted stuff, they are doing the smart thing. I feel no sympathy for those complaining that is is harder to get their ILLEGAL downloads. Oh yeah, about Obama, I would rather have him than any of the Republican candidates.
