Kingdom Hearts series portal website completely redesigned

Posted

Update 2: We've updated the bottom of the article with all screenshots and character boxes that appear in the game sub-sections of the portal. Enjoy.

Update 1: The translation below has been updated with a complete translation of the website's "about" section. This reveals that as of March 31, 2011, the Kingdom Hearts series had sold 17 million copies worldwide.

Square Enix's official portal website for the Kingdom Hearts series has been completely redesigned. The portal website links to all the Kingdom Hearts games' official Japanese websites, including Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, with each game having a new, pretty button to go along with it. You can see these below, in our gallery.

About

Kingdom Hearts is series of role-playing games born from Disney and Square Enix’s dream of appearing in a work together. Since the first title ‘Kingdom Hearts’ (released on PlayStation 2) went on sale in March 2002, it has been a popular series, with six titles released so far, and a cumulative total of over 17 million copies shipped worldwide (current as of 31 March 2011).

It is the story of those who wield the legendary weapon known as the ‘Keyblade’, and their friends, as they adventure through various Disney worlds, experiencing new hellos and goodbyes, and growing along the way.

With the universal themes of darkness and light and the heart serving as the axis, a story with many hidden mysteries unfolds.

Countless numbers of charming and fascinating personalities appear, chiefly from a range of Disney works, and also including Final Fantasy and original Kingdom Hearts characters.

Also, the battle, enjoyed through simple button input, is innundatingly refreshing and exhilarating, and throughout the series has received a favourable reputation.

I need to get my head out of the gutter : I saw "strokes" and well you can put it together from there.

@Topic- this explains that thread in the Translation Projects. I saw that first and I was kind of confused. This is awesome!

I was gonna post this, but I'm always 10 minutes too late :(

There are 11 games, so no matter how they arranged the boxes there would always be at least one empty slot, unless they just put all 11 in a row. I'm sure it doesn't mean anything. But it'll be a good spot for KH3D FM KH3 in the future.

Spiffy. owo<3

It looks so smexy! I WANT TO MAKE BABIES WITH IT. Y U NO FIT INTO COMPUTA PINGAS!

cool i wish they would update the american portal site they still dont even have Re:coded sites on there :/ oh well still looks great and can't wait for more info on Dream Drop Distance

Wow. Who knew you could sum up all of the games that easily.

OH yeeeeah the american portal site has been two things, outdated, and FORGOTTEN about! but hurray for the japanese portal site! ya know its strangely easy to wait for KH3D when you keep yourself occupied with something you love to do!

KH SUPER FAN:TRAITOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you were a REAL KH fan you would be anxiously waiting sweating your pants off!

Me:Uh I am on the inside... but there isn't anything I can do to speed up time so I might as well TRY to keep calm and wait until it comes out in about two months!

lol I dunno why I threw that in there I just thought it would be funny!

Kingdom Hearts III? 8D

Another way they could have arranged it is to have all the games in two columns, and then have KH3D in the middle underneath the last two games or something, but eh. I would suppose, since they left that spot so obviously open, there's something else KH-related coming this year. Since they include remakes... Perhaps them HD remakes? :D
