Do you ever feel guilty about some of the bad things you have to do to characters in the games you play?

Hm... Sometimes I guess so. Like in Suikoden V when we have to kill a certain person, when we found out she was just trying to help :/

What about you?

    • Yes, I won't play games where I have to be evil.

Nah. I can be either good or pure evil depending on which I feel like being

GTA, I don't regret

In KH, I really didn't want to have to fight Master Eraqus and Xion. I really felt bad that the character I was playing as was responsible for their death (and the fact that they regret having the fight in the first place)

Type-0 Spoiler

When Machina had to kill all those Suzaku cadets it made me sick. How could he do that?

Fable Sister: If you kill me you will get the sword of eons and be all powerful forever but you will have killed your own sister.

Me:...........Stab. Hold's up The sword of aeon.

Remorse is those who aren't a hundred percent sure of their actions, I'm always a thousand percent sure of my action.

Play inFamous 2 on an evil runthrough. By the end of the game, you will feel like garbage.

If I do like a bad choice that makes video game characters unhappy when you could have made them happy, such as letting someone die when you could have saved them, I usually restart the game until everyone is happy :P

ONLY ONCE!!! and that was InFamous 2 when you play evil and at the end when you have to kill someone i really did not want to do it i was like "WHY!!!!????" and that was the only time i ever felt bad about doing something in a video game to a character that i can remember, well kinda the same in InFamous where you have to chose to either save Trish or the six doctors i kinda felt a little bad for picking the choice that would make you evil but not as bad as i did in InFamous 2 other than that i can't really think of anything that i really felt bad in i actually loved being evil in the InFamous games except for the parts i talked about,

It really depends on the game cuz i love playing assassin's creed but i found it hard in crisis core to fight angeal :,(

I was sad when I killed Demyx and Xigbar... and Luxord...

AND ROXAS!!!!

IF ONLY I DIDN'T MAKE HIM GO INTO THAT WHITE ROOM...

I sometimes feel sorry for people, but that is not often. I usually can't kill animals who don't attack me.

Let's just say GTA is not the game for me...

when i play Fire Emblem games i always reset the game if one of my characters die D: and i felt bad fighting Eraqus :/ other than those moments i usually dont get too upset about killing people off. typical FF games i get annoyed when someone dies in battle, but sometimes it's for the greater good!

I never regreted killing any character in any video game.

GTA's the finest example I can think of.

nope. it's just a game so I don't care if I do something horrible. actually it's fun to do some horrible stuff on garry's mod and GTA games

Infamous 2 evil ending... I DID NOT WANT TO KILL ZEKE!!! T_T

Sometimes, when sadistic choices are forced upon us. For example, my girlfriend told me she played Fable 2 and had a choice among various options, and all of them would have made someone suffer. Nowadays, it's been established that people love things when they turn sad. I disagree with them. Today's world, by itself, is already sad enough as-is. We don't need to pollute fiction with our own angst. Or at least... well, it's difficult to express it in words, but I hope you guys got my point.

Behh, it's all the same to me sometimes.

Depends on if I actually liked the character, especially the mains. Dx

Gee thanks for spoiling it for me! Y U NO USE SPOILER TAG?!

yes it makes me sad sometimes like when you have to kill master eraqus on khbbs or when the whole organization 13 is defeated in kh2 but thankfully they came back

Gee thanks for spoiling it for me! Y U NO USE SPOILER TAG?!

...I lied.

I'm only ever okay with being evil after I've done a good playthrough of a game. I count the good as canon and the evil as an alternate universe. In games where you have to be evil I just don't do it. In the Kingdom Hearts games there are certain times where I feel really guilty but I push through because I've got a feeling that Square will make a loop hole to make just about everyone who matters happy in the end.

Sometimes I get really frustrated with certain characters then I go kill them by making them jump off a cliff or something

~But I do feel guilty about it since it isn't really their fault~

I hated letting Roxas go anywhere near the mansion in KH2, 'cause I knew what was waiting for him in there. D:

Also hated seeing Axel 'die', but that was through no fault of mine or Sora's so yeah.

Other than in KH, and maybe Pokémon and LoZ, I've never really had emotional attachments to characters. xP
