Lets all start on the train ride to the Capitol. ;)

Keithia rubbed her arms up and down her shoulders to control the freezing panic rising up inside her. This was not happening. She'd wake up in a few hours, with her best friend, Fern, standing over her. They'd go to the forest to work, and stash some of the rarely found fruit because the lazy watcher would be working that day. But no. Instead, Fern had been reaped, and Keithia had made a silent oath that she would never let anything bad happen to her. She looked at the tiny carving of the wooden heart that Fern had given her. Keithia remembered that day, she had been playing in one of the trees, when she ran into Fern. They'd both been very little, but they kept coming back everyday to meet up. One day she gave her the heart. Fern had looked up at her and smiled. "Cause we're best friends." Keithia turned her head to the window, letting the tears make a steady path down her face.

Kataree looked once at Allen and once at his hand then she smiled. She took his hand in a tight grasp and said "Sure, Alliance it is!"

Ebony noticed her fellow district 7 tribute looking out the window. She sighed and walked passed the room to her own room. She probably as upset as I am. She thought unconciously rubbing the bracelete her younger brother had given her in their last few moments together. She wondered if he was getting enough food and was taking care of his jacket she had gotten him. Ebony started thinking of all the things she would need to straighten up once home, then it hit her. I might not becoming home. She was unable to sit quietly in her room and ended up pacing the length of the disctict 7 section of the train.

Miki stayed sitting in the room that she was given on the train. She sat on the bed, hugging her knees to her chest. Why was i picked, she thought, of all people. Sure, i can be considered a good fighter but i never dreamed for this day to become reality. It's only been thirty minutes and the train felt like it was traveling fast through time. She didnt want to be bothered so Miki stayee locked up in the room until they called her to come out. Miki sighed, rested her head on her knees and daydreamed of what was yet to come...

Jericho looked outside of the window. Near the capitol. He reached into his pocket and tried to grab onto it. Finally, when he got a grip onto it, he pulled it out. A mini cow bell. He looked at it. I hope....just hope that I win...hard, but not impossible...I must get ready. He looked up. Jerricho grabbed onto it, and stuffed it back into his pocket. He took out his glasses, breathed fog into it, and wiped it out. He put it back on. Jerricho looked outside of the window, again. Waiting. Waiting for the fish to bite, or the wind to fly a kite. Or waiting around a Friday night or waiting perhaps for their Uncle Jake or a pot to boil or a better break or a string of pearls or a pair of pants or a wig with curls or another chance. Everybody is waiting. But not for me. I'm Ready.

Wow. Ok so I got reaped. Token away from my family, all my little children I loved and toke care off, and now she was probably never going to see them again. I'm not a big fighter I thought to myself. How am I going to survive. I'm a healer not fighter, i'm a healer not a fighter, i'm a healer not a fighter I continuosly thought to myself feeling the doubt that i wasn't going to survive rise up in me. Curiously I looked over at the boy who got called from distrct 11 with me. If I remember curectly his name was Allen. Maybe we could form an alliance. Maybe I might survive if I could make some friends. Suddenly the thought of death and survivel struck me again and the tears pilling up in my eyes were dangurously close to falling, but I managed to pull myself together. I couldn't cry now not in public. I'd have to wait till I got into the safety in my room or maybe all of the cameras viewing my every breath and every move were watching me right now.

(You know what, I'm doing first person view, haha sorry)

I looked up. The glasses were still a little bit fogged up. But I know I'm ready, even though I'll probably won't be able to use my glasses. What if they think I'll use it as a weapon. No. I won't be offensive. I'll hide. Hide somewhere. Somewhere where no one can go. Only where I can go. I looked down. I put my legs into the lotus position. The only position I feel comfortable in...What if they take away my glasses!? I won't be able to see!

Brent looked at the sky as the train rumbled along slowly. It looked so pretty today. He sighed, and looked at his hands. They seemed so inadequate, like they could do nothing. He reminded himself he worked in a factory. He would have to be ruthless, killing to win this. After all, District 8 hadn't won in a while. He sighed, and prepared for the worse. This would be a long couple of months.

Achilles peered out the window of the train as it passed over villages. He held his brother's broken knife in his hand and held it out to the sun.

Can I prove myself, just like him?

He silently reminded himself that he had to, or he would be dead. He walked over to the bed and put his knife in his pocket.

Strange how our district has two guys. I wonder if the Capitol had anything to do with it. Or my brother.

Achilles closed his eyes calmly and drifted off to sleep.

When he awoke, he left his cabin and went down to the dining room. He grabbed a small plate of rice and pork and sat down at his table.

My teamate, Soul. He's not to be trusted. He's grown up in unsavory areas, so it would be in my best intrest to learn his weaknesses here.

(its ok, its not required ;)

Keithia finally let out a long shuddering sigh and picked herself up and walked to her room. She would have to get in somthing nicer for dinner. She opened a drawer, and winced at the gaudy dresses. Finally, I pulled out a soft sunset dress that brushed my knees. It was a simple sundress, something I would never wear on any occasion. I then sat on the bed and awaited dinner.

Miki hopped off the bed and went to the drawer. They were over flowed with things she could wear. "Hmmmmm, how about something simple." She said and pulled out black jeans and a pink and orange shirt with some words written in cursive scattered all over it. She put her clothes on and walked out her room. Miki never got to actually get a good look of the place. As she was walking she saw brent. Its that guy from the same district as me, she thought, does he know my name. Miki shrugged and kept walking

Ebony was stopped by one of the previous winners from district 7 and told that dinner was soon. He got one look at her clothes and ordered her to change before dinner. Ebony sighed and trudged to her room slipping on a plain black dress then walking out again. She knocked lightly at the other tribute's door and peaked inside.

" Dinner." She said softly remembering the state she had seen the girl in earlier.

The other tribute had not shown up for lunch, so Achilles went into a small training room on his train. He picked up a sword that he had brought from home. He swung it around slowly, and then pressed a button and it's blade split in half, transforming the sword into a bow.

My most prized possession, he thought. If I can earn enough money in the Games, I'll bring this down. If not, I'll have to make due with swords and bows.

He carefully aimed and shot an arrow out of an open window and into a passing tree.

The Games, what I've been waiting for. But why don't I feel good about this? Why do I feel as if something bad is going to happen?

Allen looked around the train from his seat, he wasn't exactly looking forward to it, he was excited at first but he actually felt home sick when he got on the train. Allen then saw the other girl called from his district. She looked really sad but was staying strong which was a good sign of will power. Allen thought it'd be good to stick with his district. He then stood up and walked to her. He held out his hand for a hand shake "hi I'm Allen Weaver, I think I've seen you in district 11 before... Katree Right?" Allen asked holding out his hand

Golden sat on the edge of her bed, thinking of what she would do when she won the Hunger Games. After all, she didn’t doubt herself a bit. It couldn’t be said that she was overjoyed to go into the arena. Unlike most of those who trained all their lives so that they could volunteer for the Games, she had been training just so that she wouldn’t die in the event that she was reaped. And for some reason, nobody from District 1 had volunteered. Apparently nobody felt ready this year. Or maybe they just wanted to watch her die. But she wouldn’t. She smirked to herself. “Sorry to disappoint all of you back home,” she whispered smugly. She pulled her trinket out of her pocket--a miniature golden chalice to remind her that she herself was the only one she would look out for, and she come out the winner, too. No question.

She stood up, pulled on a heather-colored skirt and white shirt, and went out towards the dining car, toward boring train food. She would only be eating the healthiest foods she could get from here on out, not gorging on chocolate or the like, as some of the other pathetic tributes who had never seen real food before probably would be.

Ever since they boarded the train and assigned rooms, Michael has been asleep. He doesn't want to meet the other districts besides the other tribute from his district. When he woke up, he did low intensity work outs for an hour. His hunger finally took the best of him, he walked to the food car of the train and sat in the back and ordered some fish.

Sara had slept little since they had gotten on to the train. All she could think about was how she had willingly volunteered to be a tribute in her sister's stead. Was it stupid of me to do it? Sara mentally shook her head. No. She thought, I did the right thing. I wouldn't have be able to watch her die not after seeing him die..She wouldn't have stood a chance against the other tributes...Though I'm not so sure I have a good chance against the other tributes either.. Sara stood up and stretched. She looked around the room, not seeing the other District 1 tribute, Golden Chalice. She had seen her around several times back home and had only spoken to her a couple of times, but wasn't exactly close to her. Maybe I can create an alliance with her.. She thought. But knowing her, she'll probably only think of herself.

A little bit later, some one told her dinner would be ready soon and that it would be best if Sara changed into something nicer. As she got dressed she thought of several ways to win the games. Her growling stomach stopped her from thinking more deeply of how to win. Guess it's time to go to dinner. Sara silently told herself as she made her way towards the dinning area. Sara fixed one of the straps of her new dress. Her sister had given it to her just before they left and said it would made a good first impression. Not that Sara cared much about what the others thought but she wore it anyway since she knew her sister had given it to her as a thank you for volunteering to be the tribute instead of her.

"I'll never forget what you did..Just come back home safe okay?"

Those were her sister's last words to her. She sighed as she stopped at the door of the dinning car area. Don't worry. I'll make sure I come back in one piece. Sara promised to herself and opened the door.

She lifted her head from her hands, and saw the other tribute from home. Ebony. She remembered. Keithia forced herself to her feet, and decided it would be best if she at least got some good food. She sat down at the nearest table, staring into her hands. Someone placed food in front of her, and Keithia let one eyebrow raise in astonishment. There had always been just enough food to survive on back home, but this one meal could last her family of three plus her friend, and anyone that needed a home, almost two weeks. She began gently working her way into the food, remembering what her mom said but not eating too quickly. It appears everything I do reminds me of home.

"Yeah its Kataree..nice to meet you." I said shyly. I then felt my stomach grumble. "I'm going to get dinner catch ya later, Allen." I tried to say friendly. I got out of my chair and walked to my cabin on the train. My cabin was small, but it had everything I needed. A bed, bathroom ext.

I opened the small drower and pulled out a gray sweater and some worn out jeans at least they matched my mood I said sadly to myself as I pulled on the soft cottens. As I was waking to the food cart my thoughts turned quickly to Allen. He was what,18 years old,4 years older than me. This was going to be his last year of reaping.I suddenly thought sympathy towards him I alway thought it was frurstrating to get reaped you last year.

Melody was looking through her drawers trying to find something decent to wear for dinner. She thought about the tribute in her District. He had big glasses and she wondered,'What was his name again?' She wasn't the best person to remember things. After finally finding something decent to wear, she left her room and headed to the dining car, making sure her father's gold pocket watch was safely tucked in her pocket.

soul looked out the window.he hadn't said a single word since the reaping in district 2.he looked over to the seat in front of him.the girl from 2 was gone.no surprise he thought.soul stood up and exited his cart of the train.he walked towards the dining cart.it seemed like he was the last person to arrive to dinner.soul sighed looked up and saw an empty seat.he sat down quietly as if no one even felt his presence in the room.soul looked up from the table and took a good look at his surroundings.a few windows and the cart doors..... looks like there's no way of backing out now he quietly murmered.he was just about to leave when he saw the district 2 tribute talking to another tribute.he was curious at what she was trying to do.soul hadn't been friends with the other tribute of his district but he did know quite a lot about everyone in his district.but, there was one thing he knew about this girl, and that is she had a family that she had to feed by catching and eating most stuff that was alive and dead.soul thought that no one deserved that kind of life.he had got frustrated, stood up and punched an avox,a person who has to serve the capital after committing a certain crime, square in the face.he quickly reverted to his natural calm state and quickly apologized before leaving the cart hastily.

Michael finished the fish, it tasted decent, but not as good as the cooks in District 4 could make. He pulled out a handkerchief out of his pocket and opened it. Inside of it was a loaf of seaweed bread his mother made for him. He broke the bread in half and ate one of the halves. Then, he cleaned off the handkerchief and put it back inside of his pocket. Michael got up from his seat and began to leave the dining car and to head back to his room. He noticed a girl fiddling with something in her pocket as she made her way to the dining car, he tossed the half loaf of bread to her and said "here have this, the food in there is not the best." After he said that he walked off to his room.

Miki found the dining area and sat down at the table. everything was so different from home, she thought as she stared at the table. Her eyes went to the food that was infront of her. Remeber manners, she thought as she took the fork and started eating. A few minutes later, she got carried away and started wolfing it down. When Miki was done, the plate looked like there was never any food on it. She giggled and wiped the smudge of gravy off her face. She was too full to get up so she sat where she was and admred the scenery

Melody catches the bread and before she could respond, the boy walked past her. She looked at the bread and took a bite out of it. It was delicious, she loved the way the taste danced in her mouth.'I should thank him for the bread. If I see him again I'll thank him.' She thought. She entered the dining car, still eating the bread and started eating the food on the table in front of her. She looked around for the boy in the same district, but the seat near her was empty. Gulping down the last food in her plate, she headed back to her room.

Soul led on his bed.he couldn't sleep at all.he was too busy thinking about who the strongest fighter in the arena will be,who he could trust and more importantly,if they were aware of him.he thought he was reckless during the punch he gave the avox.he wondered if he had showed he had strength,he didn't want to give away to his enemies that he was a strong,close-range fighter.soul decided he should try and eat something before the train stopped so he headed back to the dining cart.it was almost empty, most of the other tributes went to bed he guessed.he sat down and an avox quickly approached him.it was the same avox that he punched.soul felt terrible, hurting the person then getting him to do something for him.it seemed like something the Capitol would do.soul ate some soup which had an orange floating smoothly on top.he ate it pretty fast.he took a few pieces of bread and took them back to his room just in case he got hungry later.

Ebony's jaw dropped at the sight of the enornmous amount of food. This is insane! She thought picking up a fork but not knowing where to start. She finally set down her forck and started dipping a piece of bread into her soup. No wonder the people in the capital are fat. She thought then remembering her brother yelling about how the capital worried about losing weight when he couldn't gain a single pound. Ebony looked around nibbling on her piece of bread. I should train after this.

Keithia looked quietly at the other tribute across the table, noticing only her and the Capitol representative, who nose was stuck so high up in snobbiness, that if it was raining, he would drown. Their mentors weren't here yet, and she tried to remember the last people who had won. She didn't watch the Hunger Games often. After meeting Fern, Keithia learned both her parents had had died in the Hunger Games, shortly after their young marrige and giving birth to Fern, before her mother was reaped, and her father volunteered. There is absolutly no value or importance to these Games. Only to scare us. But everyone is starving anyway. What better are these times from before the rebellion? Keithia sighed, and decided to make conversation with Ebony. If she died, she wanted to die with allies. "Do you know where the mentors are? I could've sworn I saw them a minute ago."
