Basic sort of question: on average, how many people willingly watch films with a release date prior to 1990, and how often?

Featured Replies

i'm not sure i would consider 80s movies to be that old of films lol but, i love the Back to the Future series, The Breakfast Club, and A Christmas Story. so, yeah i've willingly watched a few. i honestly don't care about what year it was made as long as it's a good movie.

If a movie is still good enough to be still shown on today why not they survived for a reason.

I've watched several shows and films from the 60s and back out of curiosity, and I like um, they have a certain charm to them. And hearing the lingo from back then is amusing. xD

There are some good ones. "Clue" was a funny movie. It was based on the board game. Then there was Land Before Time, and An American Tale. Those were some of my favorite movies when I was younger, along with "Secret of NIMH" , Fox and the Hound, Honey I shrunk the Kids, The Great Mouse Detective, Flight of the Navigator, Oliver and Company. For non-Kid movie's, "Clue" as stated before, "Aliens" "Back to the Future" "E.T. The extra-terrestrial" "The Princess Bride" "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" And a lot more. The List could go on, if you'd like. I watch them every time they are on, because they played parts in my childhood. *sigh* Oh, Nostalgia.

The Princess Bride and Call me Madam, Sound of Music, and White Christmas are a few of my favorites.

i watch monty python and the holy grail along with the show all the time. its way better then whats on today. i also watch a lot of john wayne movies

I like watching all kinds of movies. I occasionally watch the really old ones but I tend to do it more in my film class than I do outside, but I do enjoy the older films a lot.
I've watched some occasionally. Honestly I'm not usually that big into watching movies. xDD But I definitely like some of the older movies I've watched.

There are a TON of really good movies that came out b/f 1990. Black and white movies are awesome, 80's movies were awesome (ie, Jaws, Back to the future just to name a few). I reallly loved the original Hawaii five-O (although it's realllllly outdated in some aspects). My favorite actors all come from like the 40's...Katherine Hepburn, Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly...Geogory peck <3 OH, you really should try watching some, they are amazing~

A lot,I will usually watch any film from the 1940's to Present Day if it's good.A fair number of favourite films are older ones.

There are tons of great movies that came out eons ago. I took a class in college about some of them that the curriculem had us watch Citizan Kane, Dancing in the Rain ,and silent films even. Very interesting outlook on the past of the movie industry. So now i watch movies from all time periods if they are interesting.
