Imagine tanks being controlled from the inside using joysticks...

NO imagine every means of transport being controlled using joysticks!

Then anyone could drive cars...

Oh Gran Turismo 2000.. How I've miss playing that game.

The PS2 and all other consoles out there are just computers optimized for gaming. Cold War Era computers used magnetic tape to store data and only a few KILOBYTES at best. You can use a calculator for military purposes for firetrucks sake.

The reason why there were export controls was because Iraq ordered an obscene number of Playstation 2s (for a country where most people don't even have TVs). However after further investigation this proved to be nothing more than an shipping error and the order was called off before it even went out.

And ever since, playstation fanboys left out a few facts and have been fapping to the incomplete story.

When the PS3 came out the US military ordered a bunch and decided to try and see if they could put a bunch of PS3s together and create a super computer that can be assembled and dissassmbled in the field making it easier to transport. They abandoned the project after seeing the impracticality of carrying dozens of PS3s around.

However, the Military likes to use Xbox 360 controllers to control short range drones due to their superior durability, longer battery life (triple that of a PS3 controller infact) longer range, and a better wireless transmission for connecting to military hardware (2.4ghz is better on the field than bluetooth).

Had to find a way to turn this into PS3 vs 360, didn't you?

Someone had to.

To this day I still say PS2 has better games than PS3, 360, and Wii.

Very true! I support 100%! X3

ummm I have a PS3 and 360, and the PS3 controller battery life has always easily outdone the 360's. Just saying.

ROFLOLMAO!!!!!!

"PlayStation 3

Sony’s Sixaxis is light in both weight and battery performance. If it weren’t for its ability to recharge via USB, we’d call it a show-stopper. But its internal battery does recharge, which is more than either the Xbox 360 or the Wii controllers are capable of, resulting in big savings over the life of the console. Like any good Blu-ray player, our PS3 was used to watch a handful of high-definition movies in addition to games. But due to the lack of an auto-off feature like the Wii and 360, Sixaxis lasted a meager 18 hours and 41 minutes; the first controller to die on us. ProTip: Get in the habit of turning your controller off when not in use (via the PlayStation button menu), or invest $20 bucks in the lovely Bluetooth remote."

Point made for me.

Im not trying to have some professional view, I'm just simply saying that at home my PS3 controller lasts longer, so calm the farm.

My PS2 used to be such a great system, and I had so many games on it.

Then my brothers started banging it around and it got dusty, so now mine just sits at the top of the closet, unable to play my favorite Kingdom Hearts games. Sigh...

Add the facts that, good ones are extremely rare, and the PS3 is not backwards compatible and you've got one unhappy gamer! Come on HD KH Collection!
