OK, I was going to get Kid Icarus Uprising a day early. (I live in NY, so a store on W. 84 Street was selling it for the event/tournament.) I took the two hour long trains and made it there. I waited in a LONG LONG line and I asked an employee if I would still be able to get the game here, even though I pre-ordered from another GameStop. He said sure, you can get it here, etc. So, I said thanks, and waited in the line as I watched people unbox it a day early. I go up to there and show the receipt and the employee, another one says that I can't get this game as I pre-ordered it in another GameStop and now I'd have to put down another $45 and then cancel my old pre-order. I told him how I was told differently by another employee and he still said no. Now it took me two hours to get back, but instead of getting a game, I won't be able to. The only bright side was that I was able to see the game, see a Kid Icarus van, YES! A tournament, Nintendo employees, people from other states, and other cool things. I also will be able to get the game tomorrow. I'm just upset because I was mislead. My mom said to come back with more than $10 and I did, just still. I feel upset. Have you ever had a problem at GameStop, you must've. I hate GameStop's new policies!
My mom is probably disappointed that I didn't get the game even though we were excited.
