March 24, 201213 yr Author Yes I did. And I loved them. In fact, I'm reading it for the fourth time. YOUJUSTGOTSERVED! Prove it.Who does Katniss married. Who does Katniss have kids with. Does Prim die? Does Gale die? Does Peeta die? Does Annia goes mad again?
March 24, 201213 yr Prove it. Who does Katniss married. Who does Katniss have kids with. Does Prim die? Does Gale die? Does Peeta die? Does Annia goes mad again? 1. Peeta2.Peeta 3.Yes 4. No 5. No 6. No
March 24, 201213 yr I've yet to see the movie, but come. on. Most of the four scenes you mentioned weren't "half the book". They were minor little filler details that have nothing to do with anything and would have just made the movie long and unbearable. Edited March 24, 201213 yr by Madotsuki

They rushed into to things way to fast. They had shakey cam at the start. Or maybe it was just me.But this is what I think anyways.
March 24, 201213 yr Prove it. Who does Katniss married. Who does Katniss have kids with. Does Prim die? Does Gale die? Does Peeta die? Does Annia goes mad again? Thank you so freaking much for ruining Mocking Jay for me. I appreciate it <3 <3 About the movie. It was really good in my opinion. Anyways, the movie makers can't put all the scenes into the movie. The movie would be in two parts, like the Deathly Hallows or Breaking Dawn. I'm pretty sure the Hunger Game director would want to save that for Mockingjay, the book you ruined for me I actually liked it. My cousin was the District Ten Tribute boy. March 24, 201213 yr Okay, so I am convinced that you saw a different movie than me. That, or you read a different book, because I loved the movie and I was pleasantly surprised by how much they managed to tell. There wasn't a role I felt wasn't played well. When I first found out about Jennifer playing Katniss, I wasn't too excited about it, but she did a brilliant job. There were these little moments, like when she jumped in her bedroom playing with the controller and you just knew she was seeing something from home, or on stage in the reaping when you could tell she wanted to cry but was holding it in; those moments really stuck with me and it wasn't because of what was going on but because she played the role well. Rue's death wasn't even changed so much. Katniss got her out of the net before she was hit with the spear instead of her dying inside it. In the book it says "When I break into the clearing, she's on the ground, hopelessly entangled in a net", so you must have visualized it wrong when you read it. But you know why it was a little different? The book had a plothole, because Katniss never got her out of the net before singing her to sleep. So if you're upset about her fixing her own mistakes, then fine The camera didn't bother me as much as it did for you. I think that it could have been steadier, and I think some of the shots switched back a little too quick for my taste. I will say I thought it was funny that both times Katniss kisses Peeta, they show a shot of Gale's sad face I rolled my eyes. But I don't think they cut out so much that it's as big of a deal as you make it to be. The parts I missed that weren't there was Haymitch falling off the stage (classic), Katniss drugging Peeta, District 11 sending the bread, and Katniss telling Peeta that the love was just an act. Were those parts necessary? No. Did it ruin the entire movie because they weren't in there? Of course not. They told the same story very accurately to the book, not to mention we got to see things outside the arena that we didn't see in the books which added a nice touch. Sorry 4everbee if I'm being critical, but I'm not very happy that you made me worry over nothing. When I read the first post, I groaned thinking, 'Don't tell me it's another "The Last Airbender"'. I read the posts you made after and was skeptical. And now I think you are a bit off base and I had no reason to worry. I am very sorry you didn't enjoy the movie as much as others have, but it is still a good movie nonetheless.
March 24, 201213 yr Honestly I don't see why you hate it. It was very well done compared to what they did to Twilight. I mean the Twilight books already sucked but the first movie was AWFUL, even if you do see it as just the movie standing on its own. Also I loved the shaky camera at the beginning, perfect for the mood. And you're totally overreacting with it only being 'HALF OF THE BOOK' It was the whole book with maybe a few unimportant details taken out. Also I'm marking your thread with a spoiler alert in the title lol

No I understand, you have your opinion but some of the things that you're pointing that you don't like about the movie are sort of weird imo I was let down too, I was thinking it was going to be PERFECT and amazing because of all the hype but that didn't happen but I was still pleased.
