So, I finally decided, I needed to get up off my ass and get my ass into a gym and start working my ass off. For far too long I've hated my body and complained and now I'm doing something about it.

I want to motivate others who've always wanted to the same.

So this thread is going to be full of fitspo and motivation and healthy recipes (70% DIET AND 20% EXERCISE) and I'll talk about my own journey towards fitness here.

I want to be in the best shape of my life and I want to be able to rock a bathing suit in the summer and I'm going to do it. No ifs ands or buts. The only failure is if you don't try.

And failure is not an option.

 

If you want to post any motivation or fitspo of your own, do it, BUT GET YOUR ASS UP AND WORK THAT BODY. I will mostly be posting female fitspo but if anyone wants male fitspo, feel free to ask.

That's what happened with me when I tried a Jillian Micheals DVD :D But the cool thing is that after you do it for a while, your endurance gets better and you can exercise longer without getting tired. It's cool to see how your body changes from when you've started ^^

I go to gym 1-4 times in week, depending how much time I have. I prefer to do workout and stuff with my friends, together I can do better when I have some competion!

It is good to listen some music that makes you feel "epic" or something, that alone can make your workour better.

 

Also I do lot of hard work with my dad, that feels almost same as workout in gym..

 

Also I enjoy going with my bicycle, it is pretty fast way to move and that is also good sport.

 

Also Paint ball and beach volley is good fun and good sport.

 

ALSO: You don't need to eat more or less or leave something out from you food. Just eat everything in good balance

Also I take classes at my gym every time I go (or try to, sometimes my usual trainer isn't there and I don't know the other one so I feel awkward and just work out on my own ) and he usually makes me do cross fit training which is HELL

Grr, I'm frustrated with my dad. I made these awesome calzones that were made with turkey sausage. They were a decent size for 320 calories. But he eats two with a salad covered in dressing and complains about how he can't get full on my cooking. It's so frustrating because I honestly would rather only cook for myself so he can eat whatever he wants, but because of my mother's knee injury I have to do all the cooking and cleaning and grocery shopping and other things. And since both my sister and I are losing weight and my mother expresses wishes to lose weight, I can't cater to him and everyone else. Just GRRR! drives me crazy.

 

Okay, I've ranted. Now another thing I'm been thinking about. There was a thread in MyFitnessPal that asked people what their reward would be when they reached their goal weight. I've been thinking about something fun I could do when I reach my goal weight and had the idea of trying a cosplay. I've always wanted to try it, but never had the confidence to do it. I think it would be fun to do once I'm as small as I was in high school. Hopefully I can meet some people in my new Uni that would go to a convention with me. Maybe I'll get a Loli dress too ^^ It makes me a lot more excited about losing weight :D

I don't have a reward for my goal weight xD Or really I just haven't decided. I'm torn between new running shoes (some good, expensive ones >>) or a loli skirt.

I don't really have a reward either? Maybe new skin tight clothes? Or maybe going to the anime convention in my area and buying a shitload of useless things?

so today i was kind of like 'I DONT NEED TO LOSE WEIGHT ANYMORE??? IM PRETTY HAPPY WITH THIS'

im at 126-125 idk?? but yeah i'm very content with my body right now and my tummy looks pretty flat and my legs are muscular and awesome and my arms have some tone to them so im happy!!

im gonna continue however, mostly just to maintain my weight, but if i lose weight, i lose it, if i gain, i gain.

note: my original goal weight was 110 but at this point i just dont care uwu

I'm so sad you guys! I wanted to make red bean paste english muffins for my Sensei since I'm seeing him on Wednesday. I thought it would be nice to make since it's from my bread cookbook from Japan. But I read the recipe and it calls for Hoshino natural leaven which they don't sell in America! I'm going to look at the asian convenience store in hopes that they have it, but I'll be so sad if they don't. At least someone told me that you can substitute regular yeast with it, but I get the feeling the texture won't be the same. I WANT TO KNOW WHAT IT SHOULD TASTE LIKE! *sad face*

GUYS GUYS I MADE THE BEST POTATO SOUP

It's super quick and easy

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 potato per person
  • Chopped up onion (up to you how much you want)
  • Clove of chopped garlic
  • 1/4-1/2 of milk, cream or half and half (I use milk), per person
  • About 1/2 a tablespoon of tomato and chicken bouillon (each)
Cube the potatoes and put them in a sauce pan at med heat w/ the onion. Add a bit of water + tomato and chicken bouillon but don't cover the potatoes w/ the water and then cover the pan. Wait until the potatoes are completely cooked and then crush the potatoes but leave some chunks. Add the milk and stir. I leave the cover on for a while longer and if it needs to be thicker, I add some mashed potato flakes.

You also add celery or other veggies (I added broccoli and it was gr8) and I topped it off with cheese, plain greek yogurt (it tastes EXACTLY like sour cream) and avocado :3

ive even gone outside for a run in a sports bra and shorts with my dog and it was AWESOME

My arms aren't just bulges of flab anymore I'm just like <3333333333333 I can wear sleeveless shirts omg<333333333

Guys! Look at the gym my university has. And since I'm a full-time student I get in for free!
