Ok, I have a theory about where Lea may have went. As we know Lea/Axel was a part of the Organization for quiet a while and used the Corridors of Darkness a lot. Well what if Yen Sid sent Lea to go and retrieve Master Aqua from the Realm of Darkness? Master Aqua is the only person who will be able to navigate Castle Oblivion to find Ventus which would round out the 7 Guardians of Light. I can only imagine Sora could help her in this acting like a living Ven detector, which would make a good opening level for KH3. I think Yen Sid would have known about the "trick" of the Land of Departure turning into Castle Oblivion and knowing they would need Aqua to find Ventus in The Room of Awakening. Lea having all of Axel's memories may have allowed him to travel in the realm of Darkness or use the corridors like Riku. But its just a theory. Also here is my list for the Guardians and Seekers tell me what you think.

I think that instead of Terranort, he would pick Apprentice Xehanort, because Terra was still resisting when he was Terranort.

If Yen Sid were to send someone off to get Aqua it would be Riku or Mickey. They are already masters, why would he send in a rookie keyblade wielder to save Aqua. She's a Keyblade Master and she can't even get out herself. It would be less of a risk if Riku or Mickey or both did it.

 

I know she doesn't have a keyblade atm, but she still has magic, I'm pretty sure. That means it must take a whole deal of strength/strength of heart to find a way out. Ex: Via Kairi's Letter or maybe Riku's newly acquired 3D power

Yeah, I was a little creeped out looking at those eyes in the bonus cutscene. They're more orange than the Xehanort trademark color, but they're still very striking, and he seemed to look at Xigbar and Xehanort too long...I think it might explain the Ansem Reports from KH1 a little more if he was being controlled by Xehanort at some point. I also have a weak theory that Terra's related to him somehow (Terra was all: No matter what the cost, I'll defeat you! and Ansem has a very particular hatred for Organization XIII...)

 

Also, didn't they show Ven looking like he was waking up at the end? (maybe he didn't really, idk.) And Aqua...the light within the darkness...they might send Lea, since he can use Corridors of darkness. We aren't really sure how or when he got his keyblade, so it's possible he's not just a novice...he and Saix were plotting against the Organization since the beginning, for all we know they're keyblade masters! But that's probably unlikely, he probably got it from Roxas or something like that...

SHe had her (well, Master Eraqus' and now hers) keyblade out, then as two more darksides popped up she said "oh screw this I hate hte realm of darkness" and put it away. She was just going to give up and let them destroy her. That's when Ven and TErra's keyblades came to save her; it gave her hope to keep moving on.

i think lea could do it alone without a keyblade, think about it. thats all he did was mow through heartless on Days, and dont underestimate him, if Roxas can take out a Darkside im most positive Lea could also, alone. Hes pretty powerful, he probably could get Aqua but i dont think theyd send him, he doesnt even know her.

while he's experienced they know just how dangerous the dark realm is just from when they closed the door to kingdom hearts, which i still fully dont understand with it being in or out of the dark realm.

 

but either way they know its a dangerous place, Lea would probobly go in with Micky since aqua can trust him, plus Lea should know his way around the dark realm as some people in the organization went there from what we can see in 365/2 with roxas and Xehanort talking at the shores

That seemed more like because she gave up hope and chose not to draw Eraqus' keyblade and fight, not that she lost the Keyblade

If Yen Sid sends anybody to save Aqua then it'll most likely be Riku or Mickey. Lea just got his keyblade and this no slight against him, but he's just a novice with it. Riku and Mickey have had tons of experience and are masters. They've also both been in the realm of darkness, so it would make much more sense to send one of those two to save Aqua.

Just because they were shown in the beginning of KH3D doesn't mean they are the 7 lights. There is no direct correlation between them. People just think that. Also no one said that was a foreshadowing, it could be and it could be not.

 

And plus Terra is being used as a vessel for one of the Xehanorts. This is confirmed when Xehanort is talking to Mickey about the lights and Mickey counts 6 only and Xehanort says one of them is already being used as a vessel and Sora will become the 13th one (which didn't happen).

 

The 6 mickey counted are as follows.

 

Aqua is in the RoD.

Ven is in CO.

Riku was there

Mickey was there.

Sora, who was about to be turned to a vessel

And that leaves Terra, which means he was already a vessel for Xehanort.

 

So Terra is one of the 13 darkness.

 

Don't be ignorant. You can't put two things together just because it's convenient and it's straight in the face. Nomura does this a lot and people make the wrong predictions.

 

So the point is

KH3D Opening might just be a promo for the characters that have been used for main story lines

Ex: Sora Donald Goofy in all the Numbered Games + CoM (Sora by himself in Re:Coded and 3D)

Riku and Mickey for CoM (Riku by himself in 3D)

Roxas for 358/2 Days

Aqua, Ven, Terra for BbS

Mickey (First player, you did get to use him and he was key to the main story line) in KH2

 

He might've just shown the familiar faces to get you excited to play it when watching it the first time.

 

See, there is an explanation for it that has nothing to do with the lights, they were just playable (main characters) that had a story line.

 

 

BTW I'm not saying you are wrong and I am right, I am just saying it's SPECULATION and CAN'T BE PROVEN UNTIL SQUARE OR NOMURA HIMSELF says so.

In Kh 3D there is a cutscene where Roxas says to Sora it has to be him, that Roxas is a part of Sora and not his own person. Basically a final acceptance of his being a Nobody, what I think will happen is that Ven will be Roxas basically. He will have Roxas's memories kinda like how Lea has Axel's. I really believe the reason why Roxas could show emotion is because he had Ven's heart or a part of it. And Xion fused with Roxas fused with Sora so, other than the nod we got from a cutscene in 3D I don't think we're gonna see much more of her. Each one of the ones I've listed has a legitimate plot based reason for being there, and I think that's gonna be a big part of KH3 is filling in plot holes and sewing up the plot in a enjoyable way for the players.

Yes, I'm not willing to quote specific phrases, but you guys remember, Ansem the Wise, as DiZ, did some research about the heart and emotions somewhere between CoM and KH2, and hid the data containing his own conclusions inside Sora. The nature of this data has yet to be revealed, and Nomura stated that's not coded. Data-Naminé mentions that DiZ made something to Sora, which was implanting this data, and whatever information might be there may be the key to saving Roxas, Naminé, and Xion and give them their own existences.

That cutscene with Sora and Roxas is because Roxas doesn't believe he has a heart nor that he's his own person, but Sora thinks otherwise, just the fact that they disagree proves they aren't one. And he was able to realize that Roxas, Naminé, Xion, and Axel had hearts. Roxas is his own person, he just doesn't know that because Xemnas lied all this time.

 

About Lea's journey. He could be gathering the former members of Organization XIII, or at least Ansem's apprentices, as back-ups to help in the fight.

I think Kairi maybe the one to save Aqua. Yen Sid may not send her to the Realm of Darkness, but she may end up there eventually and bringing her back.
