It's definitely the 3DS. A lot of people have doubts about getting one. It's sad...

I dislike ignorant people who don't know that the games that have come since KH2 are not only important to the story, but aren't really even hindering the development. Versus XIII is, so they just have to wait.

The 3DS is definitely a factor, 3D looks like a good game, I can imagine this sort of thing for Re:coded but 3D looks like it'll be great and a good set-up for KH3, so I don't see why there would be such a huge drop.

I can understand this perfectly; regardless if the game is good or not, it's a little ridiculous to keep on purchasing all these systems to play the series. The fact that this is not KHIII is also probably a factor because, lets face it, that's the one people want the most because it's the conclusion to the series thus far. The thing that I got from this article is annoyance, not at the sales drop, but at the fact that KH does better in the West, yet we don't get all the exclusive content Japan gets. It's dumb enough that Nomura releases a final mix of every single game when he could just put in the content to begin with, but coupled with the fact that he doesn't even release them in regions where he makes the most profit from just makes the whole concept of final mixes rather pointless and more of a money grubbing scheme than ever.,
