I know that everyone is hyped over who should be included in the next edition of Smash Bros, but like it or not, some characters may not survive until then. Opinions? Here are mine:

 

Falco- A Fox clone, with another clone (Wolf). Wolf has a better shot at staying, being a villain, and Falco has been on the decline. He seems like dead weight. BUT, he was beloved in Melee, so you never know.

 

Toon Link- Another Clone. People loved him, but easily balancing Link would remove his necessity. He plays way to similar to Link. BUT, he's in a high tier.

 

Lucario- Mewtwo reincarnation, sort of. I personally loved Lucario, but he may just be a passing Sinnoh fad. Zoroark may take his spot. BUT, he's high Tiered and a popular Pokemon still. BUT, Mewtwo's still popular too.

 

Pokemon Trainer- Unique... I loved him; he was my main. But the tier list says otherwise, and he is an awkward character. He could be replaced by another Pokemon Trainer. BUT, he's a very good concept.

 

Snake and Sonic?- They could be removed, being only temporary 3rd party guests (like Link in Soul Caliber). BUT, they are much beloved by many fans.

 

Zero-Suit Samus- A unique character, but a possible removal of the Smash Ball (unlikely) could render her unusable. BUT, she's a highly tier character, and a good addition to the Metroid lineup.

 

ROB- Odd, but maybe too obscure. BUT, he's highly tiered.

 

Any other ideas? Personally, I think that the original 12 are off limits and anyone who thought Ness and Jigglypuff wouldn't be in Brawl were foolish.

I didn't like him much, but they added him as a separate franchise, not as an addition to the Mario one. I doubt they'd completely cut a franchise (my rationale behind not cutting Ice Climbers, Olimar, and Mr. Game and Watch).

with no doubt at all....meta knight or sonic... they're kinda cheap meta knight just attacks way to freakin fast and sonic runs way too fast making it hard to hit him (hope he won't be in the smash bros.)but meta knight is just plain BROKEN( he MUST be removed) so at least those two should be removed mostly metaknight

Sonic for the reason above.

 

Metaknight can be nerfed (like Fox and Jigglypuff in Brawl). He seems too popular to be cut though.

I actually think that the Mii does have a good shot. It's almost the most Nintendo character!

like say Sora and Riku, the robot from Bangai-o spirits, Mega Man and Zero, maybe Cloud cuz Nintendo and Square are working together more often,

I hope they don't cut Jigglypuff. She was just epic in Melee. Though not as good in Brawl, she was still fun to use.

I actually wouldn't mind it if Lucario was replaced by Mewtwo with Lucario's moveset.

Ha ha. Cut Meta Knight? Next you'll say they'll cut Kirby and Dedede.

 

Anyways, Toon Link will most likely be replaced by another version of Link (Much like how Toon Link did the same to Young Link)

Really, that stands true f0r a LOT f characters. If there's a game to advertise, you can bet it'll be shoehorned into Brawl.

Which reminds me, there'll almost definitely be a Fire Emblem character from the new FEgame for the 3DS.

Considering they are meant to have connectivity, I doubt it...

That always is an option, but making Falco's Reflector kicked in Brawl doesn't count!

Get rid of Sonic. Have you seen the crap his fanbase has been saying ever since he was revealed for Brawl? God damn, not to mention that he's overused in online battles as well. BI

Although I made this thread, I do agree with this. Also buff up a few, like Ganondork.

tutti frutti. If I had to say it would be Lucario, Wario (though I like using him to mess with people), Pokemon Trainer, Toon Link, and Rob. My main beef with Falco and Wolf is that they have practically the same moveset as Fox. Unless they have different/unique moves for themselves in the next game if they return, but if not they should be removed.
