well as all of us know

 

Mickey is the disney protagonist(I do not mean the main protagonist) in KH and he is a keyblade master

since the game is a crossover between disney & square

it would be really cool and fair if they made at least one Final Fantasy character a keyblade wieldermaster alongside mickey

if they couldn't made Leon(Squall) one

 

for example(and I say EXAMPLE)

 

they can use The most recent known character of the series in this gen.......(Note:this is an opinion not a fact or anything).....

 

Lightning From XIII & XIII-2

 

she can become a very nice keyblade wiledermaster with a keyblade based on her Blazefire Saber gunblade

they can modify her old clothes from XIII to suit the series appearance

 

and her keyblade armor could look like the Armor goddess Etro gave to her in XIII-2 with the heart logo on her shield instead of Etro's mark

 

also they can give her a nice background ......like if she was one of yen sid's old students after maleficent's invasion on radiant garden and she became a wieldermaster in order to protect serah and radiant garden

 

okay .....I'm not speaking out of fanboyism for a game or of rage on game.......I know that FF Characters act like guests but it would be nice to see at least 1 character from The Final Fantasy Series wielding a keyblade

that is fair to me and it won't hurt the series story to me

 

so what do you think

Zidane from Final Fantasy IX

or

Cloud from Final Fantasy VII

It's always seemed to me that Nomura can only slightly mess with the FF characters' canon. I think this would be too much. After all, Nomura only did the character designs for XIII. He doesn't own anything to do with the story.

 

Now Versus, Advent Children, and TWEWY might be a different story. But despite directing AC, I don't think Nomura has too much control over the VII characters. Your best bet is probably Noctis IF that game ever gets up off the ground (and I'm starting to think there's a chance it might not).

 

I surely don't think characters from IX, for example, could be Keyblade wielders. Nomura had to get the rights to draw Zidane and Kuja just for Dissidia. Also, I think KH does have too many Keyblade wielders now. Let's see Nomura invent something new. Like a counter to the Keyblade's power? Anyway, I don't ever see a FF character having a Keyblade. Sorry.

If it had to be anyone I would have to say zack fair. I know he's already been in birth by sleep and he didn't have a keyblade but it would still be awesome seeing zack again

it would be a nifty idea, but it doesnt really seem plausible. if any character from the FF universe were to get a keyblade, i would want it to be Cecil from FFIV. he has a light and darkness side to him that would fit in perfectly with the world of KH.

now that I think of it

he is the most suitable for the role

since he has both light and darkness as you said

he can become a good mentor for sora and riku
